Called 19 times today to the pharmacy, they never picked up. I was told by store front that pharmacy will no longer be taking phone calls! How is that efficient? So now I have to take my disabled daughter in, wait on a long line with only 3 staff working, to always find out there is a problem with getting her meds on time. I’m fed up!

I have never had worse customer service in my life. I have been trying to help my parents with their insurance. CVS pharmacy kept saying it wasn’t going through. I called their insurance and they said it should go through with no problem. I called the pharmacy after the insurance company said they kept being hung up on. I finally got through and put the insurance company on three way with CVS. They figured it out for my dad. I started to give him mother’s info and the pharmacist said “I can’t do anyone else I HAVE TO GO TO LUNCH.” I said “I have been dealing with this for hours, can we please finish this”. He said “I HAVE TO GO TO LUNCH” and hung up the phone.The insurance lady couldn’t believe it.I understand people are over worked and under paid, but hanging up on customers is absurd. I will be moving to Union Pharmacy.

Chronically understaffed. Always a line. One cashier lane open. Otherwise— a wonderful store with a huge varied selection of products, modern atmosphere, huge spacious parking lot.

It’s unfortunate that this being the closest cvs location for me and it’s always a issue. The sad part is it’s only a issue when it’s medication either for a elderly man or infant.The wait time to get them to answer as well is ridiculous there is times when I’m over two hours with no one replying. When I go in to pick the prescriptions they have misplaced them and have to take the whole staff to look for them in order to find them. I believe they are incredibly understaffed and not equipped with dealing with so much traffic. There is only one young man who’s there that’s always willing to help although I have not seen him in quite some time he really was who kept the place running smoothly .If you don’t Mind waiting for them to be ready for you then this is the cvs for you. My daughter has been waiting for her medication since 8am just to be told now at 10 they don’t have enough and have to send to another cvs but I have to wait a whole other hour till we can pick it up my poor infant is so uncomfortable and in pain. But they didn’t really seem to care or say hey we will call them and fix it so it’s ready upon arrival. No care for infants is insane to me.

This is for all the Cvs. There’s absolutely no way to speak to a pharmacist, I needed an inhaler for my granddaughter, and could not speak to anyone. Their system is designed, at all of them to hang up before you get connected. I am going to switch to a smaller pharmacy.

The CVS at 978 Boylston Street in Newton is one of CVS's finest locations. The manager or the pharmacy and pharmacy staff are helpful - simply terrific. Usual good sale items too.

Great experience getting a COVID vaccine shot at the Minute clinic here. Friendly, quick, professional. Such a stark difference with some other CVS facilities.

Getting through to the pharmacy is impossible. When the automated system finally transfers you, the hold hangs up after 6 mins. The staff is nice in person, reaching them to avoid a useless trip is impossible.

Good luck getting a human on the phone. I've waited a total of an hour on hold today to speak with the pharmacy, all I got was the horrendous automated voice recordings that I'm pretty sure are designed to make you hang up. The prescriptions are always out of stock, and if you're lucky enough to get an actual human when you call for the pharmacy, they're upset with you for calling and asking normal questions politely. If you can't even handle a polite customer, you certainly shouldn't work with the general public.

CVS has really knowledgeable staff people. It’s the Trader Joes of pharmacies. They are seemingly trained to drop what they’re doing and help you find what you need. Check out is usually quick and a pleasure. I have had to use extra bucks and my extracare pass money and discounts and they know what to apply and what can’t be applied. it’s a great pharmacy and a great drugstore

My eyes! This must be one of the brightest CVS / Walgreens, that I have ever visited! You can definitely tell this place has been renovated as all of the shelves are glimmering with what seems like Hi-Def lighting. I love how unlike other CVS locations the aisles are actually reasonably spaced apart. The inside of the store is huge compared with most other locations I've been to! Everything is neatly organized and easy to find.I mostly come here to pick up my prescriptions because it's so darn easy to just stop in on my way home from work. (Especially if I need to do some other chores like stop by the ATM, get some take out from Green Tea, and fill up on gas.) When I host parties I also take care to mention the CVS for guests if they forget to bring any food. All of the employees I've encountered have been friendly and helpful.I don't shop the deals or keep track of these extra care bucks since I do most of my regular shopping at the grocery store. The prices are noticeably more expensive, but that's to be expected since in the end it is a convenience store located right next to the Eliot T stop and along Rt. 9. I'm just happy that the shopping experience is much more pleasant than any other location I've been to.

The store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I find more selection than other CVS locations in the area. It is not congested and the display of items is done very well. I highly recommend this location.

I was on hold with the CVS pharmacy for over an hour before I gave up. I need my scripts but this is extreme. Usually the app can do all my refill requests but I needed something special. The only saving grace for CVS pharmacy is the app. But the app can’t do everything!

The older female pharmacist is so incredibly rude and unhappy. I’ve heard her call customers names and tell them go somewhere else. I don’t know why you would be a pharmacist if you don’t like people.

Horrible customer service. I would give rating 0 if I could. Usually, I never complain, I always give everyone benefit of the doubt. My experience was so bad that I couldn't find ANYTHING that I could explain the staff's uncaring and insensitive behavior in pharmacy department. I just needed a simple flu shot and after registering I was told to sit down and wait for my name to be called. That is what I did. I waited for about 30 minutes. Within this time, I asked a few times if anyone called my name. I was curious because there were no customers waiting for a flu shot. I was told to wait for my turn. The staff was very irritated, they yelled that I did not register (I did register) and I am waiting in a wrong chair. I was sitting 10 feet away from pharmacy, nobody told me that I needed to register again and I am sitting in a wrong chair. There are no signs where the flu shot waiting chairs are. Wow!!! I will NEVER come back!!!

Pharmacy is completely and utterly useless. Had been referred to CVS as another pharmacy didn't have the prescription. The other pharmacy spent 35 minutes on the phone not getting an answer. When I tried same applied. I don't want to make a trip only to find that they don't have it either or it's not ready. Timewasters. Avoid. Find somewhere (anywhere) else. I would give them 0 stars if possible.

One of the better CVS stores you will find. Points for the setup and lots if roomHas a public restroom, critical when traveling on rt 9Large spacious aisles. Fine. Knowledgeable personnel. The pharmacy is first rate, never have I encountered a problem they couldnt fix. I give it an A.

Large CVS with friendly, helpful staff and good selection. This store has a particularly large beauty/personal care section for some reason (even tho I've never seen it crowded). And in addition to the many aisles of standard makeup lines, they also have a section decorated to upscale products such as La Roche Posay. The food and pantry section is small, I guess they needed to make room for all that eyeliner.
