My friend and I only visited the 🍨 ice-cream part. Very small inside. Facemasks are not required to enter. Service was good!I had the German Chocolate Cake 🍨 ice-cream and my friend, she had a hot fudge sundae with black raspberry 🍨 ice-cream. Only one size on the sundae but the portion was good. If you have a dish and a cone on top 🔝, it's 25¢ extra. Two benches outside the shoppe. We ate our 🍨 ice-cream while we listened to a man play guitar and sing Jim Croce. Quite relaxing 😎.I recommend a visit.

Simply Sweet Candy shop in Newburyport, MA has been in business for decades and exudes the charm and vintage character of the old Newburyport. Their candies are handmade and unique and their service is beyond compare. The owner and all the staff are so helpful and kind... you will leave this shop with a smile on your face and a happy memory ~~~ as well as the most delicious goodies!

I went here for ice cream multiple times in the past and it was always delicious. This year it was different. I had soft served chocolate and it was tasteless and too sweet. My family chose different flavors and unfortunately all of them seem to lack flavor… Gelato right behind corner it’s so much better. It’s a shame because we always came here when on vacation in Newburyport ( almost every year)Hope they will go back to original recipes

We've tried them all in this area, but by far they have the best ice cream anywhere. They have Giffords ice cream which is incredibly rich, creamy, and full of flavor. So many times ice cream barely has flavor, not this brand, absolutely love it. Wish we had discovered them earlier.

Great selection of delicious chocolates of all kinds, plus other sweet treats. Very friendly and helpful. There is ice cream on one side, chocolate delights of the other side.

First time visiting the area, but came for the ice cream. The flavors were abundant! Ordered pistachio while granddaughters ordered 2 others flavors (sorry can't remember) in cones which they scarfed down. Cute little shop!

The Best Chocolate and Best Costumer Service!!!I was in Newburyport yesterday and this small and cute Candy Store made my day. The store is beautiful with a large variety of candy. The chocolate is high end quality, DELICIOUS! Think about any chocolate covered candy, they have it!!!The girl that helped us to chose was a sweetheart. She gave us full attention, was super friendly and made us feel special. The entire experience was great! I can't wait to go to Newburyport again!They sell ice cream next door, which I have had before, and it is Delicious!

One of my favorite places to go when I'm in Newburyport. Many flavors of ice cream and even ice cream for pets. The service is great and the staff is always extremely friendly.

Delicious ice cream served here! Even tastier on warm summer days... We had Coffee Oreo, Moose Tracks & Boston Blackout (a chocolate base with brownie pieces). Waffle cones cost $1 extra but are well worth it. These are all SMALLS!

Ice Cream is always soooo good and their are sooo many choices to choose from and service is always superb! If your a first timer going to the place i would recommend sticking with something simple like Vanilla or Chocolate and then if you like it try all the other flavors or a flavor that you want to try!Prices are good for the ice creams and they offer different size cups for you to choose from!Overall best experience never had any issues

The candy I got was good and the employees were extremely helpful assisting me with a series of wine/chocolate pairing Christmas gifts I was assembling. Smells like heaven in here. Prices seemed about average for a good candy store.

Stopped in with my wife on a day trip for my 50th and purchased a 1 lb box. They have a great selection for everyone to choose from. Lots of favorites that I grew up on and that bring back memories of my grandmothers putting certain candies around their houses that you dont find anymore. Grabbed different varieties of chocolate turtles, different flavors of chocolate morsels and a couple of caramels for the kids. We're going to go back on our next trip.

They do not make their own ice cream and that’s okay but I confirmed with an employee there that they serve HERSHEYS brand ice cream. Horrible!!

I had there turtle candy it was stale.The ice cream I have had 3 times in a month, thinking it was a bad day. Today there was no taste in the pistachio ice cream. Yes, I have tried chocolate and vanilla. HEALY'S, Newburyport and LOGOS IN PORTSMOUTH is far greater. And not bad in price.

Terrible customer service! I was ignored upon entry, I had to tell her to serve me whenever she was ready. Received a bog with chocolates thrown in. And no thank you nor goodbye upon leaving. I'm sorry I spent my money there.
