Ok hear me out!! When you want cheap, good, fast sushi in your pj's just go to @shawssupermarketand grab some @afc.sushi to go plus the extras within the grocery store to have a good night in.Open: year roundSeating: noneParking: off-streetOrder: $20 for 1 First Down platter and 1 seaweed saladPros: You can either walk in and grab what's available or call ahead 48 hours for any occasional a big order. The amenities of the grocery store will cover everything else you need to have a good cheap night in. Sushi and salad were super fresh, but the chilli roll stole the show with packed flavor.Cons: If going on a whim, you have to get there before everyone else snatches the best rolls. Best to go before dinner hour.

I loved this store. It's very clean. The aisles were full and blocked. All the perishable depts were ready for business. I worked for Shaws when they were in CT. Best company to work for. I wish they didn't leave me. Go check it out. You should definitely find what you need at reasonable prices.

Lame manager shut down the nice man playing the violin way across the parking lot.. while I (barely) choked down their dry sandwich after picking off the disintegrating rotten lettuce. Last time at shaws.

I only buy loss leaders here. Prices are much higher than any other grocery chain in the area. Most times it's very slow so not a good turnover for fresh meats and produce.

See the update further down below. Typical Shaws. I'm not a Shaws person but more Market Basket. But I buy cut-up fruit, Gatorade, Poweraid, and some spicy condiments here as always cheaper and good selection. Can get very busy long lines though. Not a good in-and-out store for speed. Updated: I have now been here more than a few times and it is the worst I repeat the worst store ever! It should be closed! Under staffed that's all I hear from them! Long lines, you have to bag your groceries while they watch you do it! Management is uneducated in policy and proper procedures. Cut fruit on the shelf 3 days after selling by date. The meats expired on the shelf! Not one or 2 but more than a few. Items poorly rotated. Employees are unprofessional and undertrained. When you compare this store to Plaistow, Derry, London Derry, etc...it's a shammy! Corporate needs to place on notice and whip this store back into a supermarket to represent its core mission statements. I will continue my updates periodically. Help this store!

Overall a 4. You have a problem in your meat department. They get a 1. I was there between 10:30 and 10:45 today trying to purchase 2 filets. There were two people in the way back area that I could not immediately get their attention. In the interim a woman with glasses came by the counter and into the main area. I tried to get her attention. She rather rudely responded that it wasn’t, essentially, her job to offer assistance.Eventually the employees in the way back saw me. I got my two filets. But how hard would it have been for that woman to have helped me? Or perhaps have gone back and gotten the attention of the other employees?

I go between Shaws and Market Basket ( next door). Honestly, MB usually has Much better prices... I can never get service on my phone at Shaws to use the "Just For You" personal savings coupons... I have to wait and wait until they call a manager to finally approve the sales they send me through email. Just won't allow me to pull up ANY service in their building. Home D does this as well.. So I usually go across parking lot to Market Basket.

Ordered cranberry ginger ale for curbside pickup. The associate brought out blackberry ginger ale, which I told him I did not want. He said he would refund me, but 5 minutes later I got an email saying my order had been picked up. I had to call customer service to get it cleared up. If a business doesn’t have something in stock, they shouldn’t show it on their website. If it needs to be substituted, the customer should be notified. The customer also shouldn’t be lied to about being refunded.

Stephanie and Haleigh cashiers who attended me on 06/23/2021 at 7:21 pm were the best customer service I've ever had!They were fast, efficient, bagged the items correctly separating cleaning products, meats, frozen, fragile. It looks normal, but definitely not. They really impress! Beyond the normal. Go there in person to check it out.

The produce is fresh It is quite a bit more expensive than Market Basket ( which is right in the next plaza) so I usually get certain items at Shaw's and but also go to Market Basket to get a lot of my groceries They are the exact same things but much cheaperIf I spent 150 at market basket t it would in comparison be around 190 at Shaw'sShaws fruits and vegetables... definitely considerably better unless your buying basic vegetables like cauliflower or green beans ...also more of a variety

Great selection!!! Lots of out of the ordinary stuff. Really friendly people great deli nice selection. I also like their day old stuff which compared to Market Basket is much cheaper. Even though there's not as much of those kinds of Parkinson's, there's still lots of buy-one-get-one-free and stuff like that.

Shopped in Newburyport store this past weekend. Purchase 15 items. 12 rang up incorrectly.My father in law shopped in the north Hampton store this morning and purchased almost the same items. Not one rang up incorrectly.How is that possible?? Check your receipts!!!!

Shaw's, which is part of Albertsons. Is a very nice, large supermarket. It is well laid out and Carrie's a wide variety of options. The sale prices are excellent, though the on-sale prices can be high. Plenty of parking and open later than the neighboring supermarket.

Absolutely horrible when dealing with digital coupons and they fight with you about it. Twice now I had a 30min delay over digital coupons They certainly are not friendly about it. Their app doesn't always function for it and they take No responsibility for this. Plus their circular is in other collective apps and those don't function and they blame you saying must have stand alone app. I do it doesn't clip them properly. POOR SYSTEM is it on sale or not! I may not go back.

HORRIBLE! the front desk is always very rude. The store is always out of stock and you never find anyone to help you when you need to find something. And if you work for Instacart, forget it. They run away as if they were not customers like everyone else. I've seen it many times the way they get treated. Unacceptable

was a western union money gram I was sending and the person I was sending too, the associate asked how long I knew the person sort of profiling my friend and me and said she didn't feel comfortable about sending the money and the manager did the same. western union hasn't been open either said I was barred from sending money but I can't seem to reach the main HQ to tell me what going on , just maybe their trump supporter or racial

This is a well stocked clean store. It’s not the newest, or the most diverse with products, but the prices are good and they have all the staples. Not the place to buy fancy groceries.

OVERPRICED - no wonder this store is empty during weekdays and Shaw's stores are closing. MANAGEMENT MUST BE BRAINDEAD. Go shop at Market Basket next door.I bought a box of eggs that expired 2 days after I purchased it. Must have been on the shelf for at least a month.You have to wait in a long checkout time when shoppers are there on weekends because there are only 2-3 cashiers.
