Great local pet store for healthy dog and cat food and supplies. I have cats and am really happy with their selection. They carry a wide variety of high quality brands with lots of flavor options. They have wet food, dry food, freeze dried and raw frozen options. They also have some nice toy options and other goodies. The store does specialize in dogs but their cat section is great! Also, the staff is super friendly and gave me some samples for international cat day. My cats are very happy!

Love this pet store n all its employees n owner, Dawn is just wonderful. Each girl in there is so knowledgeable n helpful when u r trying to find the rite food, combo of food, better quality food, educating u on what things may be irritating your dog in a certain way n explaining supplements &/or nutritional additives may help u help ur dog all while making u feel like ur talking to a friend. Love the NBPT location and I’m so happy they’ve been doing so well n have expanded to multiple other locations the Danvers’s location n my there r also great!!!If you love you dogs/cats as much as I do, n want to make sure u r feeding them the best food n getting knowledgeable n educated while doing it, I highly recommend The Natural Dog!!!! 🐕

They're knowledgeable, helpful in finding not only the best food for your dog, but the most economical way to go about it. My bulldog eats NOTHING! But now he's eating healthy twice a day in a way I can afford, and it's such a relief. So grateful they're right in town.

The Natural Dog and the people on their staff are the absolute best and remain very much unmet compared to other dog and pet stores in the greater seacoast area. The staff are incredibly supportive, patient, and helpful especially when it involves food and diet changes/concerns. They also worked within my monthly budget so that whatever I integrated, I could maintain month to month. I feel at ease knowing that what I buy for my dog from this store, I really can trust and, feel happy about. So lucky and grateful to the Natural Dog! Pets and people are happy and healthy thanks to them and their passion. 5/5 strong recommend : )

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Everyone there is so knowledgeable and the products they sell support the health and longevity of our pets. Gina is the best!! She was beyond generous with her time. There were other customers in the store, but she politely asked them to wait as she didn’t want to rush her time with me. There is such quality customer service at that store, nothing better than someone who knows exactly what they’re talking about!

We have an anxious dog with a sensitive tummy who started refusing her food. The vet was useless. Meg helped me pick out new food. Our dog gobbled it up and it improved her intestinal issues. She also took the time to make recommendations for her anxiety, recommend a boarder/day care, and a new vet! They have a lot of fantastic products, including really great collars. I went back the next day to buy more food and Meg genuinely cared that our dog was responding well to the new food. 5 star service!!

A great store. Lots of higher end uncommon dog and kitty foods/treats. Staff is always friendly and eager to help and offer suggestions. Always worth a stop in. They have a reward program you can join for specials or free product after do Nanyang purchases.

The only place I will shop for my pup! They have an amazing selection of all sorts of different food for you animals! I wanted to do a raw diet for my puppy but I was worried about the cost/time. The amazing staff pointed me to an awesome freeze dried raw food that is just like kibble. My pup loves it and I love giving it to her knowing how good it is for her.

A friend of mine recommended me to the natural dog. After my experience there i was content this is the place to go. The AM Cassidy did a great job explaining thoroughly what type of food is best for my 10 week old puppy and provided references for dog training. Fantastic, locally owned pet supply store. Contrary to the name, they carry products for both dogs and cats at incredibly competitive price points, especially for top-quality natural/raw brands like Primal. Exceptionally friendly staff. I discovered the store by accident after searching online for a product Pet Supplies Plus was having trouble keeping in stock. Natural Dog carries the line at the same price and is always in stock.

I visited for the first time yesterday, and love it here. You might think based on the name/gimmick of natural dog food and supplies that this store would be overpriced and/or snooty, but that wasn't my experience at all. There were lots of toys, treats, and of course food, much more reasonably priced than I thought. The layout was great, tons of stuff without feeling claustrophobic, and you can easily see where everything is. The people were outstanding. I mentioned that I was getting my puppy this weekend, and they were really excited and supportive. I'll definitely be back.

all of the staff have amazing knowledge of dog nutrition. we got our french bulldog on a high quality salmon food that is great for his sensitive stomach and his skin. his nose was dry and cracked when we adopted him and we were recommended a healing balm that made it look so healthy again!! the only place we trust for our frenchy.below is our pups nose before and after the balm. magic.

Team went above and beyond!We were on a last minute hunt for paw protectors, and had driven all over to try and find some that fit our Golden. The team didn't have the size we needed in the NBPT store, and offered to have a peer drive up a larger pair within 2 hrs.They were more than patient while our pup tried them on, gave some yummy treats to her to support her walking in her new booties, and overall they were a BIG hit during some very icy times.Many thanks - and would HIGHLY recommend!

My wife and I have two cats and a dog. When we need to get them food, toys, or supplements, we shop exclusively at the Natural Dog. Their customer service is exemplary, and their employees are all kind and knowledgeable. The Natural Dog only carries healthy food. Great little local store where we get our dog food and sometimes some other goodies too. They've been pretty helpful, though I have gotten conflicting info from different employees (such as, one says it diesn't really make any difference whether you buy puppy food or adult dog food, and another whi says it does). The one who said it does is the owner, and she made a good case why it does, so I went with her advice. The store carries a good range of miscellaneous pet supplies (calming herbal meds, vitamins and similar additives, doggy boots, leashes, collars, toys..)... and they have a good range of natural dog food.

I simply can’t say enough kind things about the staff at the Natural Dog. I stopped in this past Saturday with my 15 YO black lab “Taos” because he’d stopped eating. I brought him in and they worked kindly, caring and tirelessly to help find him a food he would eat. What an incredibly great store attended by loving caring staff who genuinely want to help customers help their pets. “Taos” and I both say thank you!!! (He’s been eating the food and snacks you sent us home with!)

Probably the kindest, most honest people I've encountered in a pet store, hell, in ANY store, period. They seem to give a damn more about your pet than they do about selling you the new, hot item that will guarantee your happiness by altering your cat or dogs' behavior. If you truly love your pet as a living thing, you'll go here. If you view your pet a a trophy, or status symbol, or whatever - go to a chain store.

They have lots to choose from. The staff has always gone above and beyond. One time they even gave me a leash for free out of their own backpack when they didn't have exactly what I was looking for.
