What a great experience. From the sales process through the installation, everything was top notch. The area rugs are beautiful and well crafted. The installation was perfect and included having to walk two large heavy rugs up four floors without complaint. They moved furniture, offered to vacuum, flipped mattresses and waited while I made adjustments to a new bed platform we just got. They even custom cut and binded, right onsite, a portion of one of the rugs to follow several jogs in the wall. And on top of the high level of service, some of the nicest people we’ve encountered in business. HIGHLY recommend.

We live aboard a sailboat "Wildflower" and realized our "scatter" rugs did not allow good traction for our dog. While in Newburyport we saw Gordon's and stepped inside to see what they had to offer. What a fantastic store! Not only did they have the perfect color/texture remnant to be placed beneath our scatter rugs, but they cut it to size and bound the edges overnight so we could make our departure weather window. We could not be more satisfied and appreciative of their service. Jeff and Sue were great!

From start to finish our experience with Gordon Rug Company was incredible! We worked closely with Jeff, who was thoughtful and patient with our numerous questions. Jeff reviewed our options for our basement flooring, showing us both the pros and cons to each. He took the time to educate us on how to maintain the floor systems as well. We ultimately opted for the floating floor system. We are incredibly happy with the finished product and wish we could give Gordon Rug Company more than 5 stars. I highly recommend Gordon Rug Company and will be recommending them to family and friends.

Gordon Rug Company has beautiful rugs and outstanding customer service!! We have purchased and have had Gordon install our wall to wall for our staircase and a number of our rooms. We have also purchased a number of aerial rugs. They have an amazing collection of carpets and rugs! In addition to their beautiful collection, their customer service is exceptional! Jeff and his team have been extremely helpful in selecting all of our rugs. Jeff has even visited our home to assist in the selection process. Gordon Rug also have great installers. The installer that installed our wall to wall in our staircase has a special gift. A true craftsman! No other place we would shop for our rugs!

Went in to get a small kitchen rug. This was a gift from my son for my birthday. Was very pleased to find the help so nice. They are very knowledgeable there. We were able to find a beautiful 6x9 rug. It seems like it's going to be just perfect. They have a huge selection of rugs a lot of them you have to order and they are professionally cut in everything. But a real beautiful selection. I was very pleased with my visit there. So I got my rug and a rug pad and a reasonable price.

Can’t recommend this store enough. I am obsessed with my new stair runner. I was looking for a geometric pattern for a short staircase in a historic home that would be in my budget. Jeff recommended their remnants and I found the perfect wool rug. Doug did an amazing install, especially given the unevenness of the stairs. I look forward to replacing my living room rug next.

I purchased a couple of area rugs a few weeks back from this store and found the staff very helpful. I tend to be a little picky with items I place in my home and adding a splash of color was my top priority. I met the new owner, Sue (I believe), and she took a significant amount of time to show me around and to ensure I picked the right rugs. I had picked one they had in the store and I had ordered a second one. They just delivered and installed both of them and I couldn't be more pleased with them. I will definitely visit again when I am in need of any new rugs.
