I purchased my vacuum 20 years ago. It has been the best vacuum I have ever used. I don't fill out a lot of reviews. But some providers go the extra mile, and deserve recognition. As for the customer service at Handy Andy's, they are fantastic. I brought it in for a repair and tune-up. They are friendly, helpful, and a delight to work with. They fixed and tuned up the whole vacuum and it is as good as new. Great job

I love this vacuum, I call it my lifetime vacuum! I’ll never have to buy another! Andy’s service is spectacular, they are there anytime I need them, and the guarantee on their vacuums puts my mind at ease. I have several Labrador retrievers that love to shed, especially in the spring and this vacuum takes care of all my needs. I recommend Handy Andy’s to anyone who is tired of buying disposable vacuums.

I am so happy with this vacuum! We have 2 long haired dogs, a cat and tons of foot traffic so my floors take a beating. I love this vacuum because it has great suction, has an extra long hose so I don't have to keep moving it, has Hepa filter bags so the air smells nice, and it's very easy to use. Also it comes with annual FREE service and tune ups! And the sales and service people at Handy Andys are very nice. So if you need a vacuum that won't burn out in 5 years, go to Handy Andys!

We've had the Quality Vacuum Cleaner for over seven years. We just had a service done and it's like new! The extra long power cord and hose are great. With a ton of dog hair everywhere in the house, it's terrific and picks everything up. Powerful and then some. Very friendly service.

The quality of this vacuum cannot be beat. This is a solid well made vacuum. The level of service that comes along with it is exceptional. I feel like this is one of the last real customer service companies around.I just picked up my vacuum after receiving the last of the 5 yearly overhauls and the vacuum is like new. Still have one more free overhaul whenever I think I might need one. You will not be disappointed with your purchase I can tell you that. The only way this vacuum could be any better is if it did the vacuuming for you.t

I have been a customer here for many years and I have said it a million times, the service is absolutely amazing. Yes the vacuum is great but it’s the service that really makes them stand out above everything these days. Every vacuum is going to get occasionally clogged or maybe you run over a cord or you loose a piece , well Handy Andy is there for you , even the week before Christmas. They even drove to my house and dropped off a hose that my son forgot when he picked it up after being serviced . To say I am impressed is an understatement.

Can not say enough about this team. The vacuum is the best investment we ever made. The service is fast and always friendly. We bought our first one18 years ago and just had to replace it a couple years ago. When can you ever say that about any vacuum you have ever owned. This Family-Owned Business builds in the the highest quality vacuum I have ever owned right here in USA (New Bedford MA). Solid, powerful and made to last. The services is also excellent. Worth the investment when you compare their product to any high-end equivalent.Our room floors are wood with accessories wnt rugs in middle. The 16-foot hose makes it so convenient, like a central vaccum unit. We have a dog and a cat too and this vacuum takes care of everything, though you might still want to use your shop-vac for wet pickups.I purchased 9 "throw away" plastic junk vacuums in my lifetime and one Dyson before finding this vacuum by word of mouth. It is better than the Dyson that I still keep around as a backup.. The Dyson works if I have time making 3 passes in the same area and want to hear squeaking noises of the ball then handling the bag-less canister "with care" as I clean it.Bottom line calculation: less plastic trash at the landfill because I don't have to send 10 more vacuums to the dump.f I did not buy the Handy Andy vacuum 3 years ago, my Dyson would be junked by now and would have spent money on a cheap vacuum that would last 3 years at most. I would likely buy 9 more after that over the rest of my lifetime. It would have all ended up at landfills.This business invested a great amount of thought and care about every feature and component of this vacuum. They surely built it to last.

The vacuum is an excellent product, and they are constantly upgrading and improving the parts. The annual checks, included at no charge, are amazing. I am not aware of any other retailer who offers such an excellent product and service. A true gem located in New Bedford.

My two New Foundlands are vacuum destroyers....if they knock this vacuum out of working order, Andy and company have it good as new within the week. The vacuum is not cheap...but the years of free service/replacement on everything from vacuum to tools is what you truly pay for. Great product and a business that stands by their product.

Quality and customer experience is second to none. Sure their vacuum is not cheap BUT you get what you pay for - and you get a lot. Every time I drop my vacuum off for a tune up - it comes back a new vacuum. They clean it, upgrade parts, and it leaves like the day I bought it. They deeply care about their customers and really take pride in the product they sell - I am going to be a lifelong customer! They are simply amazing. I cannot say enough great things about Andy's and their vacuums! Really I could never imagine being excited about a vacuum cleaner but I am about this one.

I absolutely love my Handy Andy's vacuum!. They always provide excellent customer service. My first Handy Andy's vacuum lasted approximately 15 years. It was still working but I thought it was time to replace it. The long cord also makes is very convenient to vacuum without having to continuously unplug and re-plug. Definitely worth it!

Straight up scam artist.I don't doubt that their proprietary $3000 vacuum is quality, but if you go for a regular vacuum oh my god do not trust this man or company.We bought a bagless bissell vacuum (Model 1739) for $300 from him. He recommended it since I have a cat with long hair and it's hard keeping the apartment clean.However the next day when I was shopping at Walmart I noticed the same exact model for $50. When we confronted Andy about it he said that he charges extra cause he assembles the vacuum itself.Now.....$250 for assembly? Wow it must take like hours of skilled labor to put this together right? Nope. You attach a few parts and it's done in 5 minutes.I still can't get over how happy and confident he seemed when he was charging us SIX TIMES the asking price.We returned it. Of course. I will never return and I recommend you never enter his shop.

Need a new vacuum cleaner? Andy's for life. Really. I highly recommend Handy Andy's Quality Vac in New Bedford. I just had my FREE tune-up and now my vacuum is better than new - no up selling, just a free tune up. Not many excellent customer service places left. Andy even brings the vacuum to the car for you. Truly exceptional. Quality costs a little more upfront but the product is long lasting.
