Who ever hired the young short kid with the afro made a mistake; he is incredibly rude. Note to self: never come here week nights ever again. Weekend days are great; the staff who work those shifts are top tier. Throw out the young ignorant children who work there.

So I show up at 8:35 pm, 25 minutes before they're supposed to close. And they're doors are already locked and they tell me their already closed. Now online here it says they don't close until 9 PM and I saw no signs hanging outside their store telling me otherwise, also today isn't even a holiday. So for them to close before they're supposed really not professional on their part, looks to me like there was no reason for it in the first place.

Great prices on many items. The store is quite cluttered but I guess that's to be expected. The sales people are very helpful in most cases.👍

Ok out of ALOT of things bc store jst opened up and there's not another one close so people are buying a lot of stuff. But other than that it's nice having 1 near the house

Okay stuff, not as good quality as other DG stores I've been too and really dirty and disorganized. Many items were missing pieces or broken. We needed to buy a prepaid phone (which is why we were at that store and not our regular one close to home- they had it in stock) and no one could find the keys to unlock the cabinet, or how to ring it up correctly. Then the receipt did not print out clearly, and I felt that for once, I kind of needed a receipt, in case there was some kind of issue with the phone. They weren't sure how to fix it. Not impressed. 😲

Great selection. Has more than a regular dollar store and the employees are very helpful. Everytime I go there I find great deals on things I never thought a dollar store would have like cold medicine and allergy meds... great selection of snacks and everything from house items to clothing to seasonal items. Definitely worth popping in.

The new store manager Mary is horrible especially if you work for her. She is very unorganized and unprofessional. She only has a smile on when corporate comes in. She fired me but made it seem like I quit. I still have not gotten my pay. She discriminated me and ‘fired’ me illegally. She also is very rude and I have the proof. I will be getting a lawyer :) If you are a cashier be ready to be slaved by the key holders. She also likes to not pay you when you work.

My girlfriend and I went to this location and we had our pup with us. My girlfriend was holding him. He’s a 5 pound chihuahua and very well behaved. And one of the employees asked us if he was a service dog. That’s highly illegal to ask that. And we will be taking this concern to corporate. I’d give this location no stars if I could.

As a store to shop in, its a good store.. but to work there TUHHH no! Just started about a month ago & i took the NEW manager about 3 weeks to have my pay card working.. so it was about 3 weeks pay. I got NOOO training there WHAT SO ever! EVERY day i went in clueless, not knowing what my actual job was because everyday they had me do something new , on things ive NEVER been trained on. The manger will smile in your face.. but when you have a disagreement with her, she takes everything out in your face & try to bash you, w mistakes she made. They also over work you & make you work almost half an hour after they make you clock out at 10:30. (If your closing). They have only two people working at a time , which is unsafe.. i asked the assistant manager what i should do if i see someone stealing.. 3 weeks into my job.. (because i got no training) she just said theres nothing really we can do. Place is unorganized & unprofessional to work at. I definitely wouldnt work at this place.

Very unpleasant manager. Apparently can’t make returns on any product (probably due to their low sales) so you’ll get a very short, rude and senseless reason as to why you can’t return your item. My advice is to take the extra 2 minutes drive and go the the dollar general on church st.

Dollar General is basically like a dollar store you can go and spend some money you can find different types of products that you might not find at a Dollar Tree now idolatry is Everything's a Dollar Dollar General usually carries items that you might want to use supply for house cleaning products on toiletry things like that sometimes they often carry slippers shirts once in awhile you'll find some hoodies Jack gets things like that curling iron blow dryer stuff like that don't expect to spend a doll on each item because you're not going to find many dollar items here most of the items I like 2 3 4 5 10 you know pretty much in that range but some of the products are actually pretty good some of the workers I thought could have used a little bit more training considering they're not very helpful than not very knowledgeable about where the products I hear even pricing I mean unless they're bringing it up they don't know and some of them could definitely use tips on how to use when someone they come across someone with coupons but other than that I pretty much found everything walking around the store and the pricing like I said it's not really that bad I don't Dollar General too much because the second or third time I've been in here and like I say it's a people they're hiring a not knowledgeable of other products that are going around or what I owe you should be shopping at that's just a negative for me

Kings Highway Dollar General of New Bedford, Mass. is 1 of my Favoritesplaces to shop. The Staff Alyssa, Destini, Mary, & Mike, are Amazing ,Honest, helpful, and are a Great Team. I Admire their team work. I hope the Store Dollar General Recognizes The Treasure in these Employees ?🤗

I like Dollar General, this store is pretty friendly and they offer cheap products compared to the other stores. I like the specials they offer weekly and they always have clearance items.
