Are looking for a store that will make you Sad, Angry, and Feel Ripped Off all at the same time? Well the "new and destroyed" Needham Roche Bros. is the place for you. They've managed to take a great local store that had everything you'd need, decent prices, a logical layout, and friendly staff and stripped away everything except for the friendly staff. I feel sorry for the great staff at this store who now have to deal with the single worst grocery store I've every visited. This store has a maze of aisles with somehow less actual food products. Whoever designed this store should never be allowed near a design table again. Is it corporate greed? Is it a misguided attempt to cater to the very worst of the wealthy suburb stereotype? It seems like they must have over paid for the terrible design as well, because what used to be a store that reliably had sale items through most categories to help you find items while saving a little cash, now seems to have almost nothing on sale. And, on top of it all, they are now playing probably the worst music at any local store, and at even higher volumes. Maybe the best bet is a total redesign/tear down?

Nearly every item is significantly more expensive than any other store (Whole Foods included). Buy elsewhere and don't let this store be your primary point for purchasing groceries or home-items (cleaners, meds, paper products) unless you can afford not to care about throwing money away.

You can buy high-quality salmon at Costco cheaper than low-quality chicken at this store. The items I commonly buy have gone up 50% in the last year at this store.

Great produce, though that section feels a little cramped. Excellent selection of goods, lots of locally sourced products, MANY organic offerings. Service is always fast and friendly, and the baggers are great with handling foods. Prices are a little steep, but for what you get they are quite reasonable.

Decent local grocery store. Prices on most items $1 higher than elsewhere, though, so only buy certain things there. Early morning is tough because they're stocking, and aisles are hard to navigate.

The store is small in size but jam packed with a variety of foods. You also receive a complimentary service: the person who bags you're groceries takes the carriage to your car and puts your groceries in your car!! Who does that anymore? It may be a nice gesture to tip him or her. I did not but will next time.

Roche Bros has been a stable grocer on the south side of town since seemingly forever. The aisles are still as narrow as they were in the 1960s, and are as filled with goods now as then. The staff appears to be as young as ever.

Roche Bros is an average supermarket. The produce is pretty good and there is a good selection. Overall, it's on the smaller side for a supermarket so don't expect a wide product mix, but your staples can definitely be had here. As far as meats, ive seen some surprising practices in the butcher department, so recommend exercising caution in your selections. Not saying it's unsafe, but I witnessed some laziness leading to unsafe practices when it comes to cross contamination and shared equipment.

Nice neighborhood store, cheaper than Sudbury Farms, which is run by the same company. The store is small compared to other supermarkets, so they have a more limited selection of products and brands.

I go to Roche Bros because it's very close to my home. If I need something that 7-11. (Which is close to me also) I go to Roche Bros. I think their prices are higher than Wal-Mart or Target so I'll go in get me quick items. Store is clean and most of the people are friendly.

VERY OUTDATED... I shopped a few days a ago and let me tell you... VERY DISSAPOINTED. The customer service and quality has become bad Not like it used to be since I came here as a child. I will be shopping for my children elsewhere, and I recommend you the same.
