I had a great experience bring my new puppy here for the first time. The receptionist matched me with Dr. Schmidt who was very knowledgeable about German Shepherds and spent over an hour talking with me about proper puppy care, He was extremely gentle and showed care and compassion towards my dog. The entire staff was very welcoming and wonderful to interact with. The Vet fees and price were the same as the other clinics I looked into, The receipt was itemized and made it clear what I was being charged for and how much. They suggested pet insurance and strongly encouraged me to shop around for one that I felt comfortable with. They even gave me a promo code for Turpanion insurance for free 30 days coverage with no obligation to continue (they will call you to see if you want to continue coverage) The office hours are very flexible, I was surprised I was able to make an appointment on a Sat to see the Vet. I'm very happy to have brought my dog here.

Everyone here has exceptional attitudes and knowledge. We take my partners elderly poodle here and they’re always top notch and empathetic. They’ve always treated her amazingly and made sure she was well taken care of and have given us every available option for her health and give detailed explanations of her conditions. THRIVE - NATICK is a corporate vet who comes into areas to buyout local vets, only to charge ASTRONOMICAL prices.The quality of care is industry average, but the cost of care is at least DOUBLE of other vets.They wanted to charge me between $5,000 - $8,000 for my dog's heartworm treatment. It was $2,500 at a different vet.DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU HAVE TO.

If your pet does not like going to the vet DO NOT GO HERE. I didn't realize how terrible the treatment of my dogs was until I went to a better vet and my mind was blown. They'd rather muzzle and pin your dog down with vet techs than take the time to work with the animal. Terrible and insensitive communication. Techs made jokes about my dogs distress cry's while in recovery. 0/10 would not recommend to my worst enemy.

I've been going to Natick Animal Clinic since 2010 when I had my previous cat . My visit there the other day was outstanding! Everyone was friendly, professional and a joy to work with. Dr. Yu was caring and gentle examining my cat, explaining everything all along the examination. I wish I knew her assistant tech's name cause she was wonderful also, weighing her in and taking her temp. And the lady up front running the place went beyond the call of duty finishing up my visit and printing receipts for me. A wonderful visit all in all.

The folks at Natick Animal Clinic Four Paws Salon & Spa daycare and boarding are exceptional! Our Newfoundland puppy (9 months old) Molly just loves them all so much that most of the time she doesn’t want to come home. I swear I can see her smiling in the morning as we pull in and she can’t wait to get out of the car. It is clear to me that they truly love our pets and treat them as if they were their own! Thank you all for loving our girl and making her so happy ❤️

If I could give them negative stars I would! Horrible customer service and ZERO professionalism. My dog had an appointment with these people schedule for a grooming in May ( which was made months before). The day of his grooming I get a call that the groomer was out sick and they need it to re schedule, which was fine but their next available day was only in July…that wasn’t okay because I had this appointment schedule 2/3 months prior so I should be a priority and so everyone you are canceling for that day as well. I ended up settling for July… today was the date of his grooming, I get another call telling me exactly the same thing as two months ago, that the groomer was out sick and they needed to re schedule. Guess what the next available date was? SEPTEMBER, just another 2 months, I honestly don’t understand how they handle their business, but I find it absurd that they canceled on me 2 times with the same exact excuse and same exact amount of wait time. Anyone you cancel on should be prioritized, especially when you are open 5/6 days a week. Never returning again and never recommending to anyone else.

I went to this vet for the first time last month after moving and my bird's beak was concerning me. The staff was friendly and I was quick to be escorted into the exam room.Unfortunately, there was an unexpected reaction to a sedative and my bird was taking far longer than normal to fully wake up and recover.During that time period, I had received MINIMAL information. Just a cold, empty room while I was wondering if my bird was okay. I even overheard them telling another room that there was an emergency when no such terminology was used for me and MY PET. I had to go up to the desk after over 45 minutes when I was told "we're giving him a few more minutes". No check ins. Nothing.After three hours, he was transferred to Angell West and unfortunately passed away. I'm grateful for the friendly demeanor and the vet's eventual information, but I'm severely disappointed with the lack of communication, especially during an emergency. I also never received any sympathy except the desk woman that saw me in tears on the way out with an empty carrier. I don't think I'd like to return here.

The entire staff here is phenomenal! I know my pets are in great care with these fantastic professionals! You can tell the entire staff really cares about your pets and does everything they can to ensure they are healthy fur babies! Always have a great experience here!

I will say I just called this vet to try to get my guinea pig in sooner than her normal vet- unfortunately they didn’t have availability until next week which i totally get. Vets are super busy right now! But the lady i spoke to at the front desk was so helpful & so kind. recommend another place for me to call & offered to give me a number. So understanding & made me feel awesome. If there is availability i will definitely try here when i need it next. :)

This was the first visit with our newly diagnosed diabetic dog. I was impressed with the forms they asked me to fill out and the follow up call their technician made before our dog came into the clinic to ensure that they had all the information they needed to properly feed and treat the dog while he was there. Their staff was very courteous when we dropped him off and he looked great after his bath when we picked him up. We clearly will board the dog there in the future

My pets have been going to the Natick Animal Clinic and kennel (hotel) for years now. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone at the kennel really are animal lovers, and they are all very genuine and friendly. I never worry when I bring my basset hound or guinea pigs in for a stay. In fact, I do think my basset has more fun staying at the kennel with all the staff who fawn over her, versus staying at home! I know my pets are in good hands and are being well taken care of. I wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else!

My husband and I began bringing our shitsu to Natick animal clinic recently and are scheduled to bring our Boston terrier, and couldn't be more happy. Everyone there truly cares about the animals. I don't feel like they are a number like a lot of other vets. They care first and foremost, about the well being of the fur babies and that is priceless to us. They are our lives, and that's how they are treated there. They treat our babies like they are their own. Doctor Kimberly Heald does home visits with our shitsu Lily, because she gets very anxious in the car and at the vets. This service is a wonderful thing, and Dr. Heald made Lily feel so relaxed and comfortable. Lily has had to have certain tests and needs to have an ultrasound. Dr. Heald has been emailing me back and forth, explaining patiently each and every issue, and caringly answering every question I have without hesitation. We are so happy our babies have become patients of Natick Animal Clinic! Thank you everyone!!

We absolutely LOVE Natick Animal Clinic. I have been bringing my fur baby here for over 2 years and they are best in class. They treat your pet as if they were their own. They are patient, kind, responsive, and follow up post visit to check in on your pet. When my dog was involved in an incident with another dog they got her in ASAP and gave her the BEST care. We use not only their clinic but also their Four Paws Spa and Hotel which is also amazing. We travel frequently for work and sleep very well knowing Charlotte is in good hands!!

I've been taking my mini-Schnauzer/mini-Poodle mix, Gus, to Natick Animal Clinic since we moved to Natick two years ago. Gus has gotten top-notch care throughout this time. He is almost 14, so he's developed problems that are typical of older dogs, and the docs and vet techs at Natick Animal Clinic have treated Gus (and me) with respect and concern and wonderful expertise. Our latest visit was sort of an emergency one: Gus had gotten into a tangle of weeds and emerged with about 25 burrs stuck to his fine, curly, white hair. There were so many burrs on his tail alone that it dropped down and got stuck to his underbelly. He had many burrs stuck to both his back legs and even between his toes. But with his fine, curly hair, it's a challenge to remove something as nasty as burrs. Gus gets very panicky and won't allow anyone to touch him, although of course he cannot solve the problem himself. I called Natick Animal Clinic and said we needed help, fast, as Gus was extremely uncomfortable. I asked only for a vet tech and instructions on which of his tranquilizer pills I should give him before I brought him in. Rebecca, the receptionist, was extremely helpful in setting this up for me. Once I'd given Gus this tranquilizers and he was calmer, I brought him in. Less than 15 minutes later, two vet techs returned with a happy, burr-free little dog. I was so relieved that they'd been able to do what I had not! And the cost for this little adventure? Only $28.Thank you, Savana and Chris! Excellent work!

My experience was not bad the staff were polite but I brought my cat he is 8 months old and a male the plan was to get him neutered I have had cats in the past and been threw the process of getting them neutered I usually payed from 85-150 dollars so when I asked how much it would be at thrive I was blown away 500 dollars plus the 290 I payed the week before for a blood test specially apart of my cats surgery so 790 -800 for my cat to get neutered I simply can’t afford that’s very expensive I am not buying another cat lol if you can afford that good luck to you i already booked another appointment with another animal clinic for 175 .🤷🏻‍♂️

I brought my cat in for her yearly checkup/vaccinations. The appointment was easy to schedule, and they have lots weekend hours. All the staff was friendly and the vet was very thorough. My cat is very shy but the staff was excellent at making her comfortable.

This experience was EXCELLENT! The doctor and her assistant were amazing. They were able to examine my very skittish cat calmly and efficiently...and I didn't have to add the stress of getting her in a carrier and take her in the car. Home visits are the way to go, especially with this staff.

This place is amazing...I had to have an emergency c section for my American Bully and I tried to take her to the emergency room in Natick but they wanted 3,000$ upfront..after I had already spent 500$ for x-rays and to induce her into labor...mind you they wanted the money before they even tried looking at my dog, knowing she was in critical condition...the next morning I frantically looked for a vet and came across Natick Animal Clinic and they are my saving angels. They wasn't worried if I could pay up front or not they said they would work with me for a payment plan....I took my little girl in and the surgeon was awesome came in and explained everything to us in a way we could understand and made us feel more at ease as to the fate of out little girl. They never pushed other tests on me and never made me feel guilty for the decision I made for my baby girl...even after surgery they called everyday for a week to ask how Minnie was doing and feeling...everyone was very nice and attentive to my baby girl. The office area as well as the back room didn't smell bad at all was nice and clean...very nice place and awesome people that work here....I highly recommend you bring your fur babies here.

I've never felt pressured to do something that could wait and they take time to explain why they think something may need to be done sooner rather than later. Verify with them what you are paying for before you go in. Just went in for a booster, and they chose to spend 3 minutes checking the puppy's heart rate, and then charging for "an exam". Same thing happened next time I went in. I asked about it, and they said it is "standard of care" which they choose to do any additional exams during visits. Wellesley Vet Hospital is not like this, I strongly recommend them.

We have been clients at the Natick Animal Clinic for 15 years and have received outstanding care and service every step of the way. The vets and technicians are dedicated and caring and the staf are true animal lovers. Our pets have been groomed there and stayed at the kennel numerous times and we have never had an issue or a reasonto be dissatisfied. We would reommend the clinic and "spa" without hesitation.

We just adopted a 10 month old puppy! We were nervous and unsure because he seemed to have an infection. They were thorough and found other issues that were bugging him! They were kind and gentle... He didn't want to leave he loved the attention! I left with peace of mind 😊
