Loved this place before they moved, and now they're even better. Small pet items are abundant here, and since the move, the fish section is now bigger. Don't worry about Blue because he moved too. 💙 They take pets seriously and know their stuff. Helping people find the tools to be the best responsible pet owners they can be. 😁 I know I'm trying, so I'm glad someplace has my back.

I like this store, there is a lot of stuff for cats, nice toys, and you can also adopt a cat from there. However, the price point for everything is ridiculous, to my greatest regret. I have recently purchased a cat litter box from them, it was $63, and then I saw EXACTLY the same litter box on Amazon for $25… I understand that it’s a small loc business etc., but tuis kind of price difference is just not fair.

The women staff members who work here are absolutely ruthless. I have been to this store 5 times now and each time it has been the same workers. Each of the 5 times I left in awe. They treated me like garbage. Their attitude is disgusting. I feel horrible for the poor animals who are probably mistreated as well. It’s easy to say that I’m never stepping foot back in this store unless every single pet store on planet earth is closed and it’s my last resort to have to talk to these absolute unprofessional and disrespectful women.

Go for the pet supplies, stay for the cats in the windows.We got our two cats from the adoption organization located in Pet Word. It is run be a sweet lady who cares about not just getting cats adopted but with the right family.

An amazing store. The folks who run the store are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The adoption agency within is high quality and professional. They have a huge selection and prices comparable or better than other chain stores. They have a discount program and they track company rewards programs for you for certain food brands. Stellar place, please use them!

First time in their new location and what an up grade it was. A very well stocked store.But what really hasn't changed and what has always made this a truly wonderful store is the level of caring that the employees exhibit towards both their customers and their resident animals

This is one of the coolest local pet shops small but bursting with knowledge animals are well taken care of very helpful friendly and kind people working here I drove miles to get there as my purchase was hard to find was politely helped and was excited about our new friend left their feeling fulfilled was very busy but still took the time as the new owner to one of their pets that educate making sure I had the right food right equipment and was happy with my purchase

I loved it, first time there! A friend brought me .I have a black lab.I ended up buying raw treats, food that was a healthy sprinkle on his food , that included mushrooms . There was so much to choose from, heavy duty leashes, cat stuff ferret stuff, guinea pigs. There were also rescue cats , there to be bought, guinea pigs as well. A wide array of toys for any pet. I will be returning soon!!! I loved it!!!!

This place is amazing! The amount of options you have is incredible! We have 2 Guinea pigs and I was in shock at all the options of toys and food they had. I was very impressed.

One of the last local pet shops in the area. I am always delighted to stop at Pet World for their huge array of cat products that most big box stores neglect. They do great work keeping the store neat and organized. I also love their store cat adoption program where the cats and kittens aren't kept in tiny cages. You can tell they love and respect the animals. You've made a lifetime customer out of me!

Best local business for pets! We recently got a rescue dog and while we were trying to get the puppy to socialize, we made our way to Pet World, which turned out to be one of the best decisions ever! The manager and the employees are all so friendly and knowledgeable, They had patiently talked to us, helped address concerns we have and made some great recommendations of snacks that the dog LOVES (she started eating & playing right away, which we have never seen before). This is our favorite spot now! Thank you so much!!

My dad and I were there. We were the only ppl of color in there. The old lady showing the cats to the men and women at the store was extremely rude to my south East Asian dad who has a heavy accent. I was just appalled. I usually buy a lot of cool treats here for our farm dog Joe. Didn’t ever come back due to the rude old lady that put such a bad taste in our mouths. He’s the most gentle soul even amongst gentle souls.. We have well enough resources to support a cat lol but I guess two gentle father-son day having, and well to do engineers weren’t convincing enough. Wow. Ridiculous.I’ll just keep posting this.

The folks operating Pet World are absolutely top-notch as far as I'm concerned. My wife and I are new to the area, and from my initial phone call inquiring about frozen raw food for dogs, they understood our needs perfectly. The employees here seem fully committed to the health and well-being of animals, and they're available and willing to help give suggestions and recommendations should you need. This store is certainly not the closest pet supply store to us, but we absolutely will continue to make regular visits to support them.

Amazing store with a ton of variety. We travel here from Dorchester for their treat and food selection and their raw dog food as well. The staff has always been so friendly and accommodating. Yesterday we bought a pair of sugar gliders and the employee who helped us was extremely knowledgeable on the care of these critters and helped us pick everything out. We already love our new pets and are so happy we got them from such a great store!

Pet world is big but their fish section is a little bit small for me. I mainly come to buy fish or fish supplies. Their prices for general fish are pretty good. But the betta fish are a little more expensive than Petco. The staff is friendly. And the location is easy to find.

I have never had a bad experience here. They always have the products I need, or they have been honest about where I can find the products. (I've done a few special orders through them.) The aisles are a bit small, but the selection is amazing. The prices are on par with prices I've paid at other small business pet retail stores.They were even really nice when I got out of work really late one night and came in 3 minutes before closing . I knew exactly what I wanted, so that probably helped, but I greatly appreciated the compassion they had for that last-minute necessary trip for supplies.

The women who work there have by far the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLSand also very RUDE .I wanted to adopt and They continued to ask 1000 Questions and not want to sell until i had all of my pets needs when i don't even need explanation on my experience with pets + the equipment or care that my pet needs .(I literally have everything at home they are just rude and disrespectful and underestimate anyone who walks in & question them on their pets needs into depth….)I came here with my family and it was just also overall OVERPRICED …NOT worth coming …and they definitely lie to people about certain pets that are on display.. they wont sell to u but to others maybe .. they definitely pick

They were the only shop to have what I wanted (I drove from NH), and the selection was great. Pricing was fair; however, on the phone/ in person they really don't have the strongest people skills and would have lost the sale if I was in any mood other than "absolutely want the product and don't care about anything else." I WOULD NOT want to have to resolve any issue with them though as I would assume you'd have to go legal for a gold fish return.

Fine pet store, smaller chain.As a new pet owner, we're on the hunt for a good pet store. Pet World might be that place. The store has a home-town feel, not too much in the way of displays or too much consumerism.Great displays of food and other accouterments. The staff was particularly knowledgeable about whatever we through at her.Recommended!

Excellent customer service. The man who worked there guided me to purchasing the best kitty litter box and other supplies for my cat. Such nice people, with a cat adoption space inside. I love supporting this business rather than going to the larger chain stores.

This place has everything you could think of for your pet, it is organized and clean, and the staff is really nice and helpful.Kitty City rents space there, and we adopted our boy, who we renamed Finn, from Debra. Debra is lovely, and these little guys are loved and cared for very well. Finn made himself at home almost instantly, and was fast asleep at the end of our bed that very night. If you need your own furry foot warmer, I suggest checking out some of these beautiful cats and kittens. Debra is there several days a week, and we were able to bring Finn home the very first day we met him. Then go shopping... Like I said, they have Everything!

My dog loves his squishy, chewy treat ball, he loves it just as much empty as well as when it's filled with kibble.Well, almost as much. :-DThe staff is always helpful and usually very cheerful. The store is bright and clean, well stocked and well laid out. Check them out!
