We have been going to Metro Pets with our *super anxious* dog for years, and have always been so pleased with the results! Today we had our first visit from the Metro Pets Grooming van, and can’t say enough about how great it was. It definitely reduced the anxiety (for both of us!) and he came out of the van smiling ear to ear and perfectly groomed. Thank you!

I had my King Charles Cavalier groomed by Alex on Saturday. Can’t express what a wonderful job she did. He is 5 and this is by far the best grooming he has had and so quick, he was only there for a little over an hour, which is important to me because he is nervous. Great job Metro pets!! ❤️❤️

It really, really hurts me to do this and we never ever write bad reviews. We love supporting small businesses especially cute little boutique shops like this one! But after two years of our family being loyal customers and to be very honest of amazing service and experiences, our main groomer left their shop due to managerial issues.Unfortunately we had no where to go, so we decided to give them one more shot… We brought our Xiao Xiao in earlier and had talked to the new groomer of the way we wanted it, showed many pictures of previous cuts and dropped him off. When we got back after an un-communicated expanded amount of time we were in shock! They had cut through his inner coat and was left with less than an inch of fur. They claim the notes had said that the previous groomer had used that short comb for his fur before but we were sure that it was never that short as we have pictures from all his cuts after his grooms. They said it was miscommunication of the cut, the service, the time allotted, the price of $95, I mean what went right that day?Just shortening the entire list of other things that just went wrong for us that day and the sheer displeasure of the communication after. Sure the manager refunded the session but the damage is far from that. Maybe the stars aligned that we shouldn’t have gone there at all after but the total experience for that was absolutely the worst experience we have EVER, EVER gotten! Take my review with a grain of salt but I do believe that pictures don’t lie. We will never return to Metro Pets. First picture is currently and second and third picture is of previous times we normally have our Xiao Xiao.

My senior dog needed a nail trim and some additional grooming. He has only been seen at the vet previously, but Metro Pets was very accommodating and sensitive to my pup’s needs. My pup left feeling and looking better in no time. The low stress environment is exactly what we needed and we already booked a full grooming session. Thank you Metro Pets!

Very nice grooming shop! Staff is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Groomer did a great job and my Yorkie was very calm with her. Fast and efficient and well- priced. Recommend!

With 3 dogs who need regular grooming, Metro Pets is the best. All the staff are friendly, knowledge and super helpful and caring. On my last appt they alerted me to a health issue that one of my dogs was showing signs of that I would have never noticed. The plus is the stocked storefront with great treats and super cute toys!

As a former groomer myself I wouldn't trust the care of my pups to any other groomers! Everyone is always very friendly and personable. My dogs not only come home fresh and clean but they are always happy to go in. I can feel confident that they are in good hands, safe and well cared for.

Easy online booking system. All the Groomers we have used have listened to how we want our dog clipped and are careful with all her ‘lumps and bumps’. Communication is excellent with text sent 20 minutes before she is ready. Can also pay online before pickup. Best of all she’s always done within one to one and a half hours :)

Love this place. Finally threw in the towel on doing my dog's nails and also the bathing. I have a short-hair dachshund who is 8. He usually doesn't do well in these situations which is part of the reason I've never tried professional grooming services. Allie and the whole team at Metro Pets are awesome! Extremely thoughtful and caring. My dog has handled it great and it gives me great peace of mind. It also saves me a lot of time and procrastinating when attempting to do myself. I find the pricing to be extremely reasonable as well. Keep up the great work Metro Pets!

I went to Allie for my goldendoodle’s first hair cut and she did an amazing job. My pup smelled so good and the haircut was perfection. Allie listened to how I wanted my pup to look and nailed it. They are very quick and responsive. They send you text updates. My pup was out in last than 2 hours.

Hard to write this as I am a big believer in supporting local businesses, particularly those founded/run by women. Metro Pets used to be a great groomer. We have been loyal grooming customers for years and donated money and grooming supplies when the original location was destroyed in a fire. Over the last few years, the services and customer care have gone way down hill. The owner is now extremely rude, not helpful, angry, and treats my dog awfully. The grooming quality has diminished so much so that if we did not know any better, we would think that this was an untrained groomer. In addition, it is clear that things like nail trimming has not been happening. It's sad to see a once great place erode to a point of writing my first review ever. Our friends and neighbors who were also customers are openly discussing finding new places for grooming due to the bad service all around. Sad.

My lhatese, Jules, has had 2 wonderful experiences at Metro Pets. Allie is her groomer and both times Jules has come out looking like a princess. Allie spends a lot of time and care cutting and styling Jules’s coat. Allie is hands down the best groomer we’ve ever had, and Jules is 5 years old. I am very happy with Metro Pets. Thank you Allie! You’re the best!

We went to use the dog bathing facilities and the woman at the store was so helpful and excellent with our dog! She took the time to show my kids and I exactly how to use the dog bath and was very entertaining and sweet to my kids too! Her knowledge about grooming products and treats were very helpful as well. The store is clean and well stocked and the dog self-bathing area is terrific. I highly recommend this store.

We took our dog Huxley for grooming and to get his nails done. He came back and the next day had bruising around one of his toes on his right front paw and is limping.
