I really only go here for the simplest stuff. Like lightbulbs or a paint brush. Aside from that, they just never have everything I need. I always end up going to one of the big box stores.Additionally, the staff are not knowledgeable at all... I have never had a decent answer to any question I've asked in the store. And I understand not everyone in there will be knowledgeable, but it's a hardware store...? I would expect them to have SOMEONE on stuff who actually have some experience with the stuff they sell.

Love this place, almost always have what I need and the staff is very helpful. obviously they don't have the variety and selection of a Home Depot but you cannot beat the convenience of going to your local hardware store and being back at your house all within 25 minutes to continue whatever project you're working on. A trip to those major hardware stores is a 1.5 hour commitment at the very least!!

The gentleman at the paint counter was new and still learning how to get the paint mixed, however his service was incredible! While I wandered around grabbing the other things I came for, he’d pop by and give me updates on how much longer it would be and was just the friendliest. He’s a great asset to your team!

This review is about the service, My interactions with all the people there was good, with the exception of the old man who was trying to help me buy the stihl chainsaw, his services deserve no more than one star, especially when he hands me the saw after testing it in the back, dirty with oil all over it. A young man came to the rescue (Ron), took over to complete the transaction politely, explain to me how the chainsaw works, and answered all of my questions. Ron gets five stars with no doubt.

Good hardware store well stocked, store staff are mostly helpful, but very grumpy. Prices are higher than big box stores, especially for power tools. But, you can find hardware items pretty fast.

I love hardware stores, and Rocky's Ace in Millis has a pleasantly surprising stock of most things I go looking for - and its easier to find what one is looking for over the big-box stores. That said, I occasionally find the staff a bit harried or less pleasant - though typically helpful when you can finally get their attention.

We are regulars at Rocky’s in Millis. Rocky’s WAS our go to hardware store, until last night.I went into Rocky’s to have 10 keys made because we bought new doors.I met the man at the key machine and he started to make the keys. He was very nice and told me how much each key would be. I asked if I could shop around the store while he made the keys. He said, “sure” .I hovered around the key area, when I noticed there was no one making keys.I thought ok maybe he had to go to the bathroom. The man had left my new house keys out out the shelf. I kept waiting and waiting. Another woman showed up to get keys made . Finally she asked another employee stocking shelves if the man was coming back. The employee said that he went to sell someone a SNOWBLOWER!Ok I get it ! snowblower VS 10 keys more profit for the store and probably commission for the sales clerk!BUT He could have found me on the store to tell me he had something more profitable to do! I had waisted 40 minutes waiting for keys that I never got!So trying to help out that local business by not going to the BIG Box Store is off my priority list!

Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Millis, MA is always helpful and attentive to its customers. But the experience I had yesterday was truly exceptional. The battery in my car fob died, and I couldn’t start the car. Justin at Rocky’s Ace Hardware located the correct battery, and opened the fob and replaced it for me. It wasn’t that easy to maneuver the fob to get it open, and then figure out how to release the battery. I’m so grateful to Justin and all the employees at Rockys!!

Best place for screws, Bolts, etc. near me. But their selection is a little lacking in smaller sizes, especially for metrics.Would recommend expanding your selection for M3 and Smaller diameters.

Every time I go in its always tough to find an employee. I don't know why but the store smells bad, I thought it might be from all the lawn care products but other hardware stores have the same stuff but they don't smell bad. No more.

They are very dog friendly. They give my dog a treat almost all the time. They have a dog isle with some treats and toys. The staff is nice and the place is very clean.
