My family was traveling through the area and decided to check out the store, since it reminded me of a family-owned store started by my great-grandfather. What an amazing experience. We wish Peter and Maddie all the best of luck in their endeavor. Bravo!

We were visiting the area and decided to check out the local general store. For a small store, they had a nice variety of essentials and local specialty items, including local meats. There was also a nice selection of beer and wine. Both of the employees we interacted with were very friendly. We'll definitely stop in again!

What a gem of a store! We were visiting from out of town and happened to come across the store shortly after they closed. They quickly unlocked the door and invited us in to shop after hours! It was wonderful being able to buy fresh, local vegetables, cheese, and beer, and despite being closed, they didn’t rush us through the store. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting them! Thank you again!

Stopped in for soft drinks and ended up browsing around the ample ice cream selection. Bought several packs of absolutely delicious freshly made salted tahini chocolate chip cookies. They had equally enticing fresh bagels - sesame and "everything." The gentleman in the store was very helpful and friendly. It is a place I will make it a point to return to as the "feel" in this shop was "kind and welcoming." Much appreciated!

A cozy country store, that takes you back in time. After you order something to eat you can spend some time sitting on the front porch. A small old fashion post office attached....all across the street from the local library. Good food, cozy atmosphere and a good book on the porch? What more do you need? Take a step back in time, relax, and enjoy the Mill River General Store.

Nice little country store. We had heard about the store online and we're looking for it. Got very lost as GPS doesn't recognize the address. The Post Office is in the same building, so enter that as your destination. Very helpful employees. Interesting place!

If you want an authentic New England experience, this is hands down the place to go. Very unaccommodating. A group of us were treated as if we were a disturbance. We were just regular customers buying quick snacks and liquids. Very unusual for a small town general store.
