I have been buying the English style pork pies here for more years than I care to admit! The chicken pies are even better! I travel over 20 miles to get here a few times a year as my family, coworkers, and friends love these pies. They also make delicious sausages!!! I got some tomato sausage as it is a childhood favorite of mine. Delicious. Fantastic, friendly staff and the owners are a delight. I have known them for over 20 years and they still remember me and my kids when I am there. Run, do not walk, to this place and get a taste of what real handmade food tastes like. My only wish is that they were closer to me!

Bought 2 nice steaks yesterday omg so thick and juicyyy ...and employees were excellent....I'm going to buy my steak there...the best 100% and the macaroni and potatoes salad very yummy

Scotch Eggs and Pork Pies tasted fresh and had great flavor. Friendly and helpful staff, also the prices are very reasonable 👍🏻 highly recommended giving this place a try

I just saw heaven in a flaky crust. Went there for the first time, bought a bunch of stuff, decided to start with an omelet pie like I remember from my childhood (in NZ for me). It was *unbelievably* good. Literally brought tears to my eyes from both the taste and the nostalgia. Can't wait to try the others. Prices seemed extremely reasonable, and everyone was super friendly. How do I give six stars?

Found this wonderful hole in the wall pie shop a few days ago after attending a wake. I am originally from England and recognized the Thwaites name as there used to be a Thwaites brand when I was growing up in London. I was hoping to get a steak and kidney pie, but they had sold out so settled for a traditional pork pie and a chicken pie and they did not disappoint. Best pies I've had since leaving England in 1996. Also purchased some of their homemade sausages that were also delicious. If you are anywhere near Methuen MA, you must try this place out.

Noughts some pies for our flight, so ate them cold. It doesn’t matter: still delicious. Loved the great selection of pies. We had 6 different pies, and all of them were great. A quick snack, a main meal or fuel for your flight out of Logan: you can’t go wrong.

First time trying their English delicacy pies and I have to say I’m hooked! Great tasting and two can fill you up. These are reasonably priced and there is a good variety to choose from. I would recommend pork, tomato sausage, Italian sausage and kielbasa. I’ve only tried these but keep getting them back.

I'm originally from England and these are the best pies I've had in the USA. I asked the owner if they were bought from another company or homemade as they tasted just like the pies back home. He replied, "homemade and it's his grandma's old recipe whom was originally from Yorkshire, England!!I travel 20 miles to buy these every 3 months. Other Brits that I know in Boston do the same. That tells you something 🤗

I love this place but I guess taste is in the mouth of the beholder. I bought a couple of pies for friends in work and they said they were dry. ME I freakin luv'um. They are a little pricey now so buying for a family would cost a small fortune. Also they have the best tomato sausage.

As a Brit, I was pretty excited to hear of a “British” pie shop just an hour away. So, last weekend, we made a special journey to see what all the hype was.I got pork and apple, pork, and turkey pies. The pastry was pretty good - nice and crisp with none of the soggy bottoms that annoys Mary Berry so much.However, I found the filling rather disappointing - not well seasoned, too finely ground and super-dense, meaning they were quite dry and heavy when eaten cold (yes, that is how we eat these pies in the UK). The turkey pie did not seem to have any gravy in it at all, and there was no jelly (aspic) in the pork pies, which is a fundamental element of a British pork pie. They might have been better warm, but like I said, I am a traditionalist who eats them cold.I also grabbed some sausages (tomato I think they were). Definitely not British bangers (far too thin - they are more like chipolatas) but hand knotted and pretty tasty. The only problem is they burst as I was frying them, but that was probably as I fried them too fast.If you expecting a British food emporium, be aware that they carry very few British products, but given the limited market for such things, that’s not surprising.

Delicious meat pies. I love the classic pork pie but anything I've tried has been fantastic. I've also brought home frozen sausage and that was incredible, especially the BBQ bratwurst. I need to try the fresh sausage some day, definitely worth a special trip just for that, and since I'm there I'll probably stuff a pork pie in my face.

Small family market that sells the BEST chicken and pork pies. Cooked in the case ready for purchase or call ahead for cold ones. My family has frequented this little corner store for more than 40 years. It was always a huge deal for my grandmother to bring home the little pies as a special treat for us. In memory of my grandmother, thank you for making her always smile!! You are the best!

Delicious pies for sure! Saw them on Phantom Gourmet and realized I live 10 min away. We bought an assortment of pies and ground meats. So far the chicken is our favorite (the pork was a little under-seasoned). Very friendly back counter staff that we're helpful and eager. The cashiers could use some coffee and a smile though. Would definitely come back.

This place is outstanding! Their chicken pot pie is amazing, on second thought all their pies are amazing. The sausage is also fantastic. My family has been going to this store since the 1930's and my dad has great memories of when he was young and his dad would bring home pies from here.

This is a small market with a good selection of meats. I love the tomato sausages and pork pies. They have a large selection of individual size pies. Check out the website menu. I'm sure you'd fine one you'd like.
