Boyfriend and I shared the seafood platter and small ice cream cup and lime Rickey. It makes more sense for 2-3 people to order the platter and split it. It's around $40 and had clams, bay scallops, shrimp (disappointed only had 4 on plate), haddock, Cole slaw, fries & onion rings. The lime Rickey was $9!! So that's why we got one and split them both of us brought our own bottles of water. The small ice cream was a good size for two people (maple walnut). Outside atmosphere is great and family friendly.

Ok, place. Staff is nice. The food wasn't as good as the first time I was there. My burger bun was soggy, and the clams and fish tasted like the oil needed changing. Portions are great, though. I understand it's a "dog friendly " place, but damn... there were so many people with their "tiny" dogs... nonstop barking, yelping, & screeching. It wasn't a quiet dinner by any means. Annoying actually...

The best fish and chips you can get Off-Cape. This place even rivals places I've been to on Cape Cod. The onion rings are lightly battered and very delicious! French fries are standard but cooked perfectly. Lots of clean and well kept outdoor seating. You can call ahead and avoid waiting. CASH ONLY.Kid-friendliness: great little play area for the kids.

I have been going here since I was a little girl. After about a ten year gap due to moving we came back near home and George’s was one of my first stops last summer. My husband and I faithfully drive one hour weekly to get a lobster roll and some clam cakes and strips. This place does not disappoint and I am counting down the weeks until they reopen in March.

Came here for some sea food and was NOT disappointed!! The selection was good and the prices were even better. We ordered the sea food platter with sea scallops and we received a mound of food! We also ordered some chicken fingers with fries for the kids. Everything was good! The sea food had been thoroughly washed and barely felt any sand. The dipping sauces were perfect as well and properly portioned. After we all ate, we got some ice cream. They have quite a few selections of soft serve and hard ice cream. The banana boat we got was unbelievable! We especially loved the strawberry ice cream. The girls both got bubble gum soft serve and the portions were big! I highly recommend eating here if near by or at the local beach.

I look forward to taking our car for a drive up to George's Surf &Turf to enjoy the best fried seafood around. The batter that they use is the same one I remember from 20 plus years ago,and it's delicious that's why I am a loyal customer. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because of the size of the seafood the shrimp where almost to small to butterfly and the whole belly clams where tiny and the order had very few actual bellies it was more like a clam strip order than a whole belly order. If this had been my first time going to George's I am not sure that I would order the seafood again, but as I said I am a loyal customer and I know clam sized fluctuate so next time I will ask about clam size. Overall I do love George's and I would recommend it

We ordered the shrimp and clam strip plates along with a side of clam cakes. The clam strips were slightly overcooked (dry) and the clam cakes were very chewy. Overall okay but nothing that would make me hurry back. I thought it was expensive for what you get.

They make fantastic fried clams flavor and bellies usually on point. Especially good for the area. Always enjoy visits, walk up window or car/table service. They are seasonal, great summer stop.

Been coming here for years and always love their fried seafood. Their onion rings are seriously the best. I try onion rings at many other restaurants and they're not the same. George's also offers ice cream. Great place to enjoy some greasy food and sit outside on a nice summer night.

My husband and I had gone there for the first time. And oh my goodness it was wonderful! The food was delicious the service was wonderful! It was so busy there you know that everyone there was enjoying their meal their day and being out with the family. I can tell you this we are going back! And we recommend anyone to go there they will enjoy the meal and the service!

A staple of Mendon! My daughter looks forward to opening week every year and cries when they close each fall. Food is good, it's made fresh, and the staff is friendly! Prices are about where you expect them to be (seafood isn't cheap) and they don't skimp on portions. Great place to treat yourself to an ice cream and a meal of fried goodness!

One of my favorite places to get fried seafood. However, I was very disappointed when I ordered the seafood plate and received ONE clam in the order. I’m pretty sure I got charged more for the full belly clams but turned out to be just A clam. I was really looking forward to this not so cheap treat. The order I got was excellent just missing some items……☹️

A truly tasty lobster roll. Good lobster to roll ratio, supple application of mayonnaise, and minimal salad fixings. I don't know exactly why but eating here repairs small holes in my soul. Bring cash, not cats, it's a common mistake.

Great!! Great fried clams and THIN cut onion rings. BE WARNED: CASH ONLY which is why the overall is 4 stars not 5 . At these prices ( med.clam, onion ring & lobster roll= $84. !) they should take cc. They do have an ATM. The food IS so worth it though!👍👍👍 They do have a wide menu; every seafood, fish, burgers hotdogs and veggie burgers.

Used to love! Grew up going here but after they targeted me on someone else's comments for spitting strait facts I'll never go back!!! $42 is the new price for they're platter they tried saying only came with 5 fries and tower of seafood. Even if it was a true photo how you gunna serve 5 fries with it 2.5 fries for each and the amount of seafood is definately half what it used to be at double the price. Want good quality seafood for good price? LINDY'S in North Smithfield. Sorry not sorry don't be rude on social media George's
