My husband brought his very difficult cat there. I couldn't believe it. It only took them twenty minutes to shave the cat down. They did a fantastic job! This cat even leaves the vet techs winded just trying to do a sanitary shave. But these women were able to shave him completely without a nick on him. These are very talented groomers.

* Warning - If you love your pet avoid this place!! *Took my dog here after reading positive reviews which I now believe are either made up or the pet owners don't know good grooming from bad. Have a beautiful Havanese boy (or did before this "groomer" and I use that term loosely butchered him). He now looks like a Chihuahua. She shaved off all his facial hair including his whiskers. When I complained tried to blame me for the fact she sucks at grooming!! Also this place is FILTHY not messy but FILTHY. WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL WARN ANYONE I MEET TO NEVER GO THERE!!

We found Wags to Whiskers just by searching a pet groomer in the area as we were new to Maynard. We are so Happy we did, Robin and her ladies are so caring, gentle, and friendly that it was way beyond what I expected. Her sister took my 1st call and really took her time on the phone talking with me. They do not rush you at all and truly listen to your needs. We have now had 2 visits with them and my mini golden doodle always comes out of there exactly with what I tell them I want done. Beyond Happy with their service!

The staff is very kind and they always do a good job grooming my golden lab mix who is long haired. I have my lab who hates having her nails clipped there done and its not traumatic for her. They get it done quickly. I recommend this place as it's a local business that is good and has reasonable prices.

I have brought my dog here twice for grooming. Both times they scheduled me in on short notice and completed the grooming in a reasonable amount of time. The dog looks great, but most importantly she did not look anxious about the experience when I picked her up. She is on some medication that makes her thirsty and they took extra care to make sure she drank some water while she was there. I've never really checked their prices but for my dog's size, breed and temperament I felt they were reasonable. I will go back and have recommended them to others.

I usually write reviews for one of 2 reasons, either because the service amazed me or because it made me frustrated. Well, this time is because I am very frustrated. I had high hopes for this place because of all the good reviews, well, maybe I caught them in the wrong day or they are not as great with cats as they are with dogs. I took my cat there to be groomed. When I called they gave me a price of $85, just for shaving her. I thought it was a bit of a crazy price, but thought I would give it a shot since finding a groomer that grooms cats is very difficult, I thought maybe the higher price was due to exceptional service. Boy was I wrong! The whole thing took 15 mins and I wish I could post photos here of how my cat came out. It's embarrassing. I will have to buy a shaving tool so I can try to fix this outrageous thing myself. All I can say is I am not going to be coming back.

I don't have experience with their grooming but I just took my dogs in to have their nails done and had a wonderful experience. Well worth it, and I'll be skipping attempting to clip their nails at home and go here from here on out. They even did my foster dog's nails for free, a nice gesture and service to rescues! The little store next to it is nice as well, a good selection of items for pets.

I like the place--my dog is a very nervous critter and usually has a very rough time of dog grooming at least, in most grooming places I have taken him to. Here though they seem to treat him much better and when I pick him up, he appears far less traumatized than he has been at other grooming places. The rates are very reasonable, and the quality of their work has been excellent so far (three years and counting).

Great small groomer. We go there to get our dogs nails grinded and they always do a good job. Quick in and out and done. Clean shop and friendly staff. Totally worth it.

The ladies gave my 27 pound Cookie a great lion cut for summer. He was happy throughout the shave and they talked to him to keep him happy!!

My dog smelled the same after their grooming service. $50 for just a 'hair cut', seriously??? And i also did not know it was the groomers job to change my mind abt neuturing my dog, the woman asked me if he was neutured n i said no. She then asked me why not n i told her i didnt want to. im NOT cuttn my dogs balls n thats my choice n the groomer kept pushing the issue...im Not gng back there!!!

I love taking my old beagle here. They let me hold him in my lap while he gets his nails trimmed, and I think that really helps him stay calm.
