Huge supermarket with a great selection of products. Posting a picture of what may be the best bread I’ve ever had. Made fresh in the store, it’s worth a stop even if you have no other shopping to do.Their made to order sandwiches are also an amazing buy, all the quality, but about half the price of the sub shops.The only thing I’d suggest to management, is to lower the numbers for express lines. “20 or fewer” isn’t quite low enough, 10 or 12 is what I’d expect.UPDATE: One of the express lines has been reduced to "12 or fewer". Much appreciated!

80 of the staff are useless, shuffling around rearranging jars on shelves and unable to speak english. I get more “I dunno’s here than anywhere else in the world”. Also they carry so few name brands that I have to shop elsewhere for about 15% of my groceries.Great selection of produce though, good ethnic selection, and low prices. Hard to find things sometimes. 20% of staff are awesome, 20% are nice but overwhelmed, then there’s that other 60% …

What happened to the MB in Maynard? It used to be clean with great produce and good prices. I went on Monday and the produce sections were bare: no lettuce, no mushrooms, I got the last Swiss chard … the list goes on. But imagine not being able to get a head of garlic! The smell was antiseptic (yucky, not clean) and I kept coughing because it bothered my throat. I felt I was in a third world country! And I just got back from Mexico where the markets were far superior! Shameful.

This new Market Basket is the best grocery store in the entire area by a landslide. Not only is the selection huge and the produce extremely fresh, the pricing is an absolute bargain. It's like someone took a gourmet grocer for variety and obscurity of items and then priced them like WalMart. You can find eggplants from India, crawfish from New Orleans, arepas from Mexico, but also buy a rotisserie chicken for under $5. This place is magic seriously!

This place is a hellscape organized by a god of chaos. It seriously should not take 5 minutes to find a single item. Why are frozen desserts in three different places? Why are gluten free items literally impossible to locate without help because they're either completely mixed in with regular items or are in a different part of the store, unlabeled? I hate coming here, so so much. 1 hour of my life for less than 20 items.

This is a unique grocery store. Its huge and has a variety of groceries and of course a cafe and hot meals to go. In addition, it has a beautiful scenery. The is a walk over bridge above the pond in front of market basket.

I’ve found after traveling the US that market basket doesn’t have a quality control dept which many supermarkets have to ensure customers excellent quality of fresh vegetables and fruit. They don’t carry a wide variety of items. H.E.B. In the west and south west is an excellent store and would be a winning market if they joined that chain they have several brands like Hill country fair and HEB brand foods on their shelves which are excellent brands and you won’t be disappointed in. Their fruits and vegetables are guaranteed for excellence.

Overall pretty good, and well priced. They don't carry certain things like Stop & Shop but overall much better assortment and experience. The biggest problem is that based on my experience few people speak English and/ or know where products are. Definitely needs improvement!

The sandwich shop is the worst service and quality of food is horrible… management needs to get some new people working there or get new store management … I’ve been shopping at market basket for 30 years this one is by far the most poor experience I’ve repeatedly had when going to this location and this location only

A newer market basket. Fabulous prices and fully stocked shelves. Plenty of parking. Staff is friendly and helpful.Only real drawback is that is so good it's always packed making shopping somewhat difficult long lines and wait times to check out.

Far less crowded than all the other Market Baskets I've been to. Everything is clean and mostly well stocked. I'd like to see a few more plant based things. Still the best prices around even if they go up every week. They seem to be fundamentally against putting frozen or refrigerated items in reusable insulated bags, even when you specifically remind them to. I'd say everyone makes a mistake once in a while, but I'm seriously starting to think they're specifically trained not to do it, because it would have happened by random chance by now.They have pretty decent tasting in store pizzas, at a really ridiculously low price like I think the thing is 18" and it's $8.99+ taxes. Only trouble is finding someone to translate your order.

You cannot beat the prices at Market Basket. Food is consistently stocked. There is a wide variety of options for most types of food. The store is always clean.The hot food is mediocre. Just go somewhere else for lunch.The downside of shopping at Market Basket is the amount of people shopping there and how little lanes are open. Be prepared to spend more time at the grocery store as most of it will be standing in line.

Clean, well lit, helpful employees and the lowest grocery prices around. The staff seem to enjoy their jobs, and the store is well stocked. They also sell sushi and custom subs. I wish there was a Narket Basket in my town.

Market Basket located at Maynard Crossing. Well organized with an expansive meals-to-go offering and an in-store cafe. Prices are usually the most competitive in the area. A little inconsistent with some items going in and out of stock. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. Parking is usually fine but can be challenging at peak times.

The people of Maynard and the surrounding communities are privileged to have a Market Basket in town. I used to trek weekly to Littleton or stop in at the Waltham store on the way home from work. It's a joy to just pop in every few days and scope the cases for deals!

For the most part, it's what you would expect from a Market Basket (which is great).But the prepared food section is a bit of a mess. They often don't have ingredients to make the item you want, or there isn't someone there, or they are cleaning up relatively early, or the staff has trouble interpreting your order. It's completely hit or miss if you can actually get something or not, which is annoying if you stop in there for a sandwich. The staff also sometimes doesn't do a good job making the sandwiches. It's completely inconsistent. Sometimes they will put like half the amount of tuna on a tuna sub. Other times they put all the wet ingredients on top so it's a soggy disgusting mess by the time you get home. One time I got home and just looking at my mess of a sandwich made me so nauseous that I didn't end up eating it :(There are some things I wish they would regularly stock, like beef liver, which I have better luck getting at other Market Baskets.Lastly, the pricing of this MB is kind of strange. It's probably related to fluctuations in inflation, but some stuff seems very expensive (for Market Basket, I mean). There are a lot of items, especially produce that are somehow much cheaper at the nearby Trader Joes. I've always thought of Market Basket as one of the lowest priced grocery stories but it doesn't seem to be the case, at least in this area.

I have to do many things for the party of my three year old granddaughter so I decided not to to bake this year , have to find a non expensive place but with the ability to reproduce my wishes. The cake was super beautiful, fresh, delicious, I was more than happy ...and I am a baker

As someone who has worked in a deli for years, the deli at this location is run atrociously. They have 4 people behind the counter (I never even had that many people working with me at my deli and we had to cover 3 departments at once!) yet only one is actually waiting on customers. There was a line of 5 customers waiting and one trainee helping the people and the other workers just mozying around the department. Wow! It’s amazing what they get away with here. Such poor business and customers definitely are not first here.Don’t even get me started on the dollies and pallets blocking the shelves items in the isles. Another successful supermarket would have had these off the floor by the time the first customer arrives in the morning as standard procedure. Very unprofessional right now.I would like, however, to give huge praise to the cashier/ bagger team (Pablo and Primi). They are the only ones I trust to be quick, friendly, efficient and bag everything perfectly. I will go in their lane to check out, even if I have to wait, it’s worth it.

Love this store! Several other markets are closer to my home but I do most of my shopping here. It's wonderfully clean and spacious. The employees are pleasant and helpful. Their regular prices are very reasonable and sale prices are really great!
