Disheveled shelves, we couldn't determine prices of gardening tools. Cashier was of no assistance, and didn't know how or didn't want to help with applying (welcome) coupons received in the mail. Not feeling very welcome, as we were dismissed with a snide, 'Have a good one! ' from the young lady at the checkout . At least at Home Depot people try to help. Forget supporting local here. They don't need us customers it seems 😞

Note -There is new ownership in the last few years, so most of the older reviews are no longer applicable!New management is amazing, friendly and helpful. Great customer service! I came in with a list of miscellaneous items that I needed including old springs that I brought in. A great worker took me around the store and showed me just what I needed for each job, including taking my mystery spring and finding a perfect match!I am a novice in home repair and they were understanding and got me what I needed!

That have just about everything. Always someone there to help pick something out or my case, carry 800 pounds of stone out to my truck. A good resource for that area considering there isn't a lot of shopping. They've been very helpful

This place is outstanding. You may think it's just another Ace hardware store but it's the people inside that make the difference. The crew here is knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. All the things that one used to get at a retail shop. I'm a contractor now and I plan to use these guys as much as I possibly can in the future. They've gone out of their way to explain things to me that have saved me time on my projects. Highly recommended!June 2023: All of what I said above still applies. There may be a new owner and I know there's a new manager but what I said before still goes today. The personal service that you get in here is second-to-none. The whole crew is extremely friendly and helpful! Skip the big box stores and get great service at a local store.

The staff offered to go out in the rain to determine the exact item I would need.....he then offered to go back out and install the part......above and beyond customer service deserves recognition. Recently I visited this store while at Joint Base Cape Cod for military training. The employee's were very friendly and helpful with a vehicle key that I needed to replace. They were considerate of the my time when I ran into a issue with the credit card I was given to use. Top notch service that you won't find in those big-box warehouse stores!

I’ve been going to this local hardware store for almost 20 yrs. As I read these later reviews, I’m in agreement that this store has degraded. Their prices have always been much higher than other sources. The convenience of immediate, neighborhood purchase usually justified the expense. Their service and attitude have always been 2nd rate…I agree with many of the reviews here. What I saw today, though, just pushed me off the fence. The very loud older guy behind the register was on a full blown political rant that you couldn’t avoid hearing. Everything from how great Canada is, to espousing the great benefits of Socialism, to how he would like to take some conservative Congressmen “out back and shout ‘em”. I’m not in a hardware store to listen to employee political opinions, especially violent ones. I can find everything I need from online and just a little bit further down the road. We are done.

Very clean, very organized. Staff was eager to assist in every way, and very knowledgeable of their products. Those not assisting customers were taking care to clean the store and tend to the potted plants. A large variety to choose from, for all repair and building needs. Great for domestic, agricultural, and automotive projects.

I came in shortly before close yesterday with car troubles, my exhaust pipe was falling. The staff was very kind and understanding. Helped me get what I needed to hold it up and even gave me a hand with fastening it back up till I could get to a mechanic. These guys are the best. Highly recommend.

I don't go to this store very often, but the staff are very helpful knowing what a customer needs. It is a customer's job to go out and select the right vendor to get them out of a bind and these guys do very well whenever I need them. The location may make it tough to find, but believe me when I say this: Top notch customer service and great products are what make this store #1 in my book. Will definitely keep going back.

Recently under new ownership. The store is more organized. Better footprint layout, making products easier to find. Better selection of items than previous.It's been open a month and every item is stocked. Management and staff well trained.

I had no idea it's locally family owned. I had the pleasure of being served by the owner who went out of her way to get me the right paint for my job. She wouldn't sell me something she didn't believe in and have experience with. I will definitely be back now, no more Home Depot for me.

As soon as you walk in the store, there is a friendly, knowledgeable employee there to assist you with whatever you need. You don't have to be an "expert". Just explain in your own terms and they will find a solution for your problem. They also offer a Veterans discount and are proud to do so.

This is a company that goes the extra mile. Everything from helping carry your items to your vehicle, special ordering an item if it's not carried in store, management personally delivering large items that were purchased in store- at no cost, the list goes on. The centralized location in the Deer Crossing Plaza is great, but I would definitely drive out of my way for this kind of service.

Yesterday I visited this store looking to pick up a hose adaptor for my child's inflatable pool. When I walked in the store was fairly quiet and there was a staff member at the cash register. Since I couldn't figure out the right adaptor, I asked that staff member if he could help me out. I attempted to show him a picture, but before I could say anything more he said "If we have what you need it is going to be right there!" as he pointed to the same spot I had been standing at for 5 minutes trying to figure it out.After that I was personally annoyed, but kept looking until I overheard him speaking with other customers. He was rude, short, and made it clear that being helpful wasn't in his deck of cards. At that point I decided to leave and go to Botellos. What is frustrating is that as a resident I would like to shop within my town. I usually go to True Value, even though it is a chain, just because it is conveniently located. I will take the extra time and to go Botellos from now on.

Every single time I go into Ace Hardware in Mashpee, someone is offering to help me find what I'm looking for. They are patient, polite and I enjoy going into the store, which wasn't the case when True Value was there prior.

Very inconsistent hours. Closed at random times/days. Owner is a deplorable person who when there yells and screams at staff and customers. Store is dirty, cramped, and overpriced. It’s a five and dime store because they certainly nickel and dime you here.Go to Botello’s, or anywhere else before this dump.

Horrible management. Manager is screaming over the phone to her associates so loud that you can hear her. Brought my mower in to get serviced. Two weeks later checked on it because had not heard anything back. It never actually went out. When they did send it out came back like nothing was done not worth $100. Attitudes of employees is horrible.

All I needed was generator oil in the middle of a massive storm with major power outage.. I had no cash on me only my debit card. The cashier told me there was a $5 limit on Credit cards , I explained I had a debit card not a credit card he said it doesn't matter. I was just short of the $5 Limit that I didn't even know about. NOT RIGHT!

Needed something at hardware store today. Had 2 option True Value or another each 4 miles away in opposite directions. Got to this True Value and found a sign on window saying "CLOSED"??? This isn't right and this is why I will now just try to avoid this location and/or shop on line as much as I can. Sign on window also stated "Closed Wednesday" this isn't normal for a hardware store. Contractors need something to finish a job! This was a major inconvenience. Will not go there again!
