Traveling from Texas I had to make a stop here! Cash only and the smiles are a plenty. I ordered a lobster roll and my in-law ordered the scallops. They were both great and flavorful. They have a soda vending machine outside for drinks and you can see the live lobster. So cool! They have picnic tables outside to eat next to the water.

The absolute best lobster this side of heaven. Period. Get the fried onion rings and the sweet potato fries as well. You will dream about Green Harbor Lobster and the kind folks who work there.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: The children swam in the river located in the picnic area. Wheelchair accessibility: Mostly Gravel drive way and perfectly flat. Bathrooms have a ramp.

Best lobster place in town. The lobster is fresh, juicy, and they give a huge portion. Pictured is the $35 one. It doesn't come with fries so be sure to ask for em along with an extra buttered bun for that wealthy lobster meat 😋

2nd visit in 2 days. Always heard about the lobster rolls but never tried it. It was recommended again yesterday so decided to try it. Had to have the clams this time. My new favorite place! Food is delicious and reasonable. Portions are excellent

We ordered a small and a large lobster roll. The small was a decent size, but the large was absolutely huge... an incredible value. More importantly, it was fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. I also highly recommend the coleslaw. Enjoy!

Best fried whole clams and onion rings I've had in my 10 years on the East Coast! The onion rings are crispy, light, and flavorful without any dip. The clams are delicious juicy flavorful all of it.

The BEST lobster roll you will ever have! The lobster meat is so fresh and flavorful. They generously include tail and claw meat - most lobster rolls have just claw meat, or even worse, shredded lobster meat (who knows what you are getting?). Onion rings and fried clams are also a must. Great food, great service…worth every penny!

Quintessential New England seafood shack. Freshly prepared, cooked to perfection. Servings are huge, so don't mind the prices. Outdoor seating was nice and gave the perfect vibe. Please note they are cash only so be prepared.

CASH only. Good menu choices. The lobster was tender and delicious. The roll did not have a lot of mayo in it (which I personally love) so you could taste the flavor of the lobster. Fresh rolls, sautéed with butter and tender. 2 people, roughly $50 but you could easily spend over a hundred here with drinks, chowder, fries or onion rings, burger, lobster rolls, clam, scallop or shrimp plates. So close to the ocean. Limited parking. Delicious all around!

I’m from Maine but live in MA now so usually avoid lobster from southern New England due to high price and low quality but must say that this was an outstanding lobster roll, as good as any in Mid Coast or Down East Maine

We are not from the area. We decided to come here to get steamed lobsters, fried clam strips and fried shrimp. The food was ready as scheduled. The staff was friendly, having patiently answered several questions before we even placed the order. We ordered food for 7 people and it was correct upon arrival. The portions were generous and the lobster was so fresh, so delicious, and reasonably priced. The place is geared for take-out but we decided to snatch a picnic table and yes the accommodations are modest but no regrets here. Even the sweet potato fries were amazing. We may have to go back one more time before we leave MA.

The best lobster roll you can find. Meaty, always super fresh, butter brioche large hot dog roll to hold the 12 oz of lobster in their jumbo size. Have gone here for the past 10 years for son's birthday treat. Plenty of tables, and some nicely covered so out of the sun. Split order of fabulous sweet potato fries. This is a must if you like lobster rolls.Parking: Lot used by beachgoers as well as other businesses so can be tough depending on weather. Have always been able to find a place with help of attendant for beach parking.

I'm giving this place 5***** because they don't serve a buttered lobster roll as a standard menu item. I'm a lobster "purist" and I don't like mayo. They were willing to give me a lobster roll with butter (but the lobster was cold) and it was actually the best lobster roll I've ever had in my life. Lobster was perfectly cooked and tender, and that roll was LOADED. I got two meals out of it (and I will crush a lobster or two with my bare hands any day!). The fried scallops were so succulent and fresh, as were the whole belly clams. This spot is a 100% MUST VISIT if you're in the area or nearby. Thanks to my friends for bringing me out!

Very generous portions!! Very good prices!! Delicious fried clams with small, tender, sweet bellies(although the lobster rolls looked AWESOME also.) However, prices vary a bit regularly according to the day's catch, I presume. Outdoor seating only at picnic benches under "sail" tents, by a small inlet, on a gravel surface; and you can only order bottled water but there is a dollar/soda vending machine selling off-brand sodas. Very casual - very yummy.

We had never order from the Lobster Pound before, so glad we did! They will prepare your lobster without mayonnaise, if requested. We do not like mayo. Ordered the onion rings and chowder too! Everything was better than expected. My new go to place for take Out! Onion rings were not at all greasy, or stuck together, they were really good! Chowder was one of the best I have ever had, creamy and full of clams! The sweetest, tasty lobster, that is what I expect. I recommend this place to everyone!

All the hype is well earned here. Cute spot. Nice for kids to see the crabs and fish swim by. And the lobster rolls and fried clam strips are to die for. Sweet employees. Just an overall awesome experience for a laid-back early dinner.Bring your own drinks/alcohol. They have a very limited selection.
