This is the worst supermarket I have entered in my life, the service is terrible, the ATMs take years to pass a product, while there is a line of many people who start talking to each other. When I had to pay, they talked to me with attitude, and they took away the products I was interested in and I spoke badly on one of the occasions. If you don't want to work, don't do it, but it's not our fault that you don't like your job. I'll NEVER come back.

Honestly it’s not the first time they sell me something with mold, but lately I been finding out that mold will slowly but surely get you sick by breathing the air the mold is exposed to, now even worst when it’s consumed in a food. The man at the register seem to not even want to look in my face when I checked out, as if he already knew this fruit product and service from compare is no good, and it’s actually even worst than no good, it’s not safe to sell food with mold….their meats and other items may be decent and when I say decent I mean look out for the food because the employees and department certainly is not looking out for the food. This is certainly an awareness review so people can double check the food all the time, not just at compare but specially at compare, compare has been doing this type of stuff sooo much more than other markets, it’s un real, un profesional & certainly above al it’s NOT SAFE. Get it together, for the kids at least.

Never again! I bought a big pack of strawberries thinking they were fresh I checked around and when I got home I found in the middle hidden with mold! Waste of my 9 dollars next time I'll go to market basket .

This place is great for fresh meats but I buy nothing else here. It's too expensive which is unfortunate because most of the customers are of low income. I prefer Market Basket

Conveniently located in the community. For staple items the prices are reasonable. For other items that are assumed to not be as frequently bought by the typical clientele, the prices are very steep. The prices are for some items, not listed and when they are are inaccurate. Example, the cheese I bought had no price and then ended up being $5 and the apples were listed for $4.99 and then rang up for $5.30. Additionally, they don’t allow you to see the prices as they are rung up. So, it inhibits your ability to dispute prices in the moment. Overall, glad to have the supermarket in the community, but would like to see prices for produce and other items like dairy and non-dairy milk items that are being sold be sold for similar prices as other stores or more non-name brand items that are more affordable so that buying apples or oranges or nondairy milk isn’t a deterrent to families based on overpricing. Perhaps you’ll sell more, if the prices were better. Just saying.

I finally had a chance to stop here today. I'm glad I did! I needed a few things for dinner and I was in the neighborhood. The first thing I noticed was how CLEAN this store is compared to Market Basket and Stop and Shop. The staff was extremely friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier told me total at checkout- The prices are really good. I'll definitely be back again!

I have always enjoyed shopping at this particular location because the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have had very few reasons to bring attention to certain things but they're so few and far between they're barely worth mentioning. I would recommend stop and compare on the Adams Street Extension in Lynn to anyone who is looking to do any quick shopping or even extensive shopping for themselves or for their families or business functions. And just to give an example of the friendly atmosphere; Marty is a sweetheart, everyone should say hi to him when they visit!

CRAZY prices... in my opinion they take advantage of their own culture that they supposedly want to help. ((One day while i was at the Compare store in Lynn, i saw a $200,000 car in the parking lot. i asked inside who's car it was and one of the girls whispered... it's the owner's car. Everything started to make sense after that day.))

Never go there again, cashier asked me if I wanted my receipt & then called another woman over, said something in another language & asked me to sign the 10% coupon. The the bank called me & ask me if I used it there & it was declined. Then someone called & emailed me to say someone used my card to purchase$617, then they tried to reset my card. I only used it there & I WANTED OTHER PEOPLE TO BEWARE, DO NOT USE YOUR BANK CARD THERE.

Clean. well organized with fresh quality produce and the nicest store staff anywhere. Only neutral observation - sometimes the seafood and deli staff in back are hiding somewhere. Great store.

I LIKE THIS COMPARE WAYYYY BETTER than the new, gentrified, commercialized version on market street.Sure the staff here weren't the friendliest either but they weren't RUDE like the market street locationI love the selection they have even tho this location is smaller.Support the OGs

For the most part staff is kind. But, there was this one lady who took my basket and literally slammed and dumped it upside down on the belt. Instead of asking me if I could take the things out (which I’ve never had to do at any place) and then slammed the basket down next to her. Mind you I was going to use that basket to take my groceries out to the car since paper bags are in. Called the manager but I don’t think they cared.

Employees packing fowl chicken are thief, they removed parts of chicken before pack them. I just bought a bag they removed the whole thigh with leg.

Be careful when buying meat in that place. because they sell it in very bad condition. And you don't waste time going to return something that they already sold damaged because they never have customer service. That is an excuse is customer service is off 🙄

I was at compare the other day and I was really surprised how nice the store look with the New floor ,shelfs well stock and verything looks so good I thought I was in annex of Market Basket.P.s. I was talking about the Lynn store.

Whenever I need to find something similar to what I would find in the islands, that's the place to go. Never a better option to find groceries and household items that's not possible to find in your average supermarket. Cooking pots, meat, crackers, almost anything ethnic.

Bad thing about this place they have 5 cashier ,, but they only open 2 of them some time just 1 too bad specially for covid-19
