Neal and his staff are top notch! He’s always fair,polite. They don’t make you feel like you’re being ripped off or look down on anybody coming in to do a loan or to sell their stuff. My dog chewed a very important piece of jewelry of mines,and I was so upset,I didn’t know what to do to replace it,and the first thing I thought was go over to empire and talk to Neal and his team,and they came thru for me with another chain that was almost the same and gave me a fair price and let me put it in layaway for the special that they were doing for Xmas! It was such a relief and they were super understanding and so nice! They are the best! Definitely go down and check them out!

Wonderful atmosphere, warm, welcoming and sparkling. I have never been to a pawnshop quite like this. I highly recommend. The staff was efficient, knowledgeable, and fair. I will be going there to shop and sell again.

I wish they knew more about something’s and gave you a better payout on things. They offered me $120 on a $1200 item. That was a percentage of the resale value. Must be very very low percentage. Other than that the experience was good the employees are very nice.

I have a bad experience, because they sold me a fake gold chain, when I return it they told me that I didn’t buy it from them. That was the Empire in Lynn, MA. I work hard for my money so left the chain for them.

Went in to sell off one of my chains, they weighed it and completely try to play me. Offered me 2400. When the average price I was getting was 2800-2900. Ended up at Sherman’s where I got the best price right off the bat.

Please be careful with the Lynnway location they will gladly take your property and misplace them. I trusted them with my designer bag and finally was able to go back and get my purse just so they can advise me that my items aren’t found. This place is a complete scam and should be closed down. On top of them loosing my item the customer service and lack of accountability by the manager is disgusting.

I love this store. They are always straight with me. They look you right in the eye when you are speaking. I got a good deal. I haven’t tried to sell anything but I’ve seen others do so. A problem came up during the appraisal and she dealt with it quickly offering a resolution both sides could still be happy with. Not sure if it was a pawn shop when I was there. I pictured it like in the movies or television. Usually the fat stinky guy wearing the wife beater while twirling his over long chest hair. This place was far from anything even close to that. It was super clean, tactfully displaying the merchandise that was for sale. It was something I always wanted to try and I was quite pleased. The repayment process was very easy to understand and was very transparent in terms. I had fun, got some pocket money and the interest rate was very low. Great place for a loan or outright sale.
