No common sense. Normally, I would not leave a review for something so simple, but I feel compelled to do so given the sarcasm of one employee. While at Rocky's in Ludlow I notice a clearance of Christmas candy which my grandson would like. Big sign "75% off of Xmas candy". The sticker on the box is 7.50. Quick math $1.88 (rounding) price. Grabbed 3 and went to check out. I'm told by the cashier the price is $3.75 each. I explained that they should be $1.88. He tells me it's 75% off the "original price" ..? What original price? The supervisor comes over and tells me it's 75% off of the original price. I show him their sign of 75% and the price on their sticker is $7.50. Well.. now I'm told the $7.50 was 50% off the original price. WHAT original price? The supervisor angrily starts tearing the stickers off.... This is his solution. I told them I'd call the corporate office just over their attitude I don't care about the candy or the extra few dollars.The reason for this review is for the young woman employee who sarcastically states "oh, I can give their phone number"Honestly, I normally go to the Palmer store or South Hadley location and never had any issues.

I've been here a few times. A little pricier than the big box stores but the staff is attentive and very nice. Great store for when you don't want to deal with the huge stores (and who does? Not me!)Always glad to shop here when I can.

The Ludlow store was not great until I asked an older woman for helpI was greetedWas not asked if I needed helpHad to ask for help in what I was looking for, which I really had no clue and was sent to an isle with things I had no clue aboutWas looking g for a buffer to attach to a rechargeable drill I purchased at the store in South HadleyI asked an older woman wearing a red vest and she was so pleasant and helpful even opened the attachment to see if it would fit my drillSo while the greeter was useless and not friendly my helper was awesomeNot sure I will use that store again even if I am shopping in that plaza

Absolutely awesome! Were there to help me when my lock on my truck broke and I couldn't get into my truck. Used their phone for triple A . Made new key the young woman came outside to help me try to unlock it. Very nice place. Plus good prices.

I had inquired about using my military discount to purchase a lawn mower and gas trimmer and was told that " they aren't included in the discount because we don't make any money on them. We only make money on accessories." I had informed the manager that I was trying that shop local and that the big box stores will give me the discount but I was about to spend a considerable amount of money and, again, I wanted to spend it locally. I'm going to go get my discount where it is offered and if that's the big box store, that's where I'll be.

Have been going here for a long time and the staff are always helpful and kind.There are times when they are too busy to meet the demands of every person who has questions or needs to find something in the amount of time we expect.However, the way I see it, that person's taking the time to meet all the customers questions before going to the next.The store is always neat and orderly.I'd recommend my questions to the staff. They know where things are ( if they have been there long enough).If they don't know the answers to some questioning you ask, they may not know it just yet, give them time to.We all never stop learning in life, we all just hit it at different stages!

Was there a few times this past week (including today).The employees are so kind and very helpful. They took their time and I didn't feel rushed.Great variety of just about everything.I'll continue to shop there.

Feels like a small town hardware store. Friendly staff, they know the store well and where to find things. If they don't have something, they just say so. Very helpful people. My favorite hardware store. I only go to the bigger stores like Lowe's if Ace doesn't have what I need.

Alyssa was beyond helpful. It was worth the 30 mile drive. This was the one place in a 50 mile radius that had the pool I wanted. I would come back again. She went above and beyond. Thank you so much!

Once you can track down a clerk, they usually are helpful. Occasionally you get someone who points in the general direction of the product you're looking to buy but mostly you're taken to the aisle and to what it is you need.

Horrible service, there's one to help you...you have to go looking for them.Then they're a craftsman dealer and if they don't have the exact tool they tell you will have to find it yourself....Thank God for Lowe's take the extra 5 minuets and get there.

Usually when I go to Rocky's there is someone to help. Today I was told by a salesperson ths what I was looking for was in aisle 18 no other help given. Didn't see any other salesperson in the store.
