I live nearby and do nearly all of my grocery shopping here, with the exception of milk and dairy products. A year ago, dairy products were more reliable there, but there is currently something wrong with this store's supply chain or refrigeration. Any milk bought from this store spoils a week before the best buy date, we've opened new containers of cottage cheese with green mold, and once saw the entire selection of sour cream was over a month past expiration date. The store management must be aware because they've accepted my returns, but it is frustrating that they haven't been able to fix this issue for at least 6 months now.

I never had any problems with the groceries I got here but it is a pretty small whole foods and if you go during peak hours the lines will literally extend all the way through the aisles to the back of the store.

Eh it’s small, the produce is hit-or-miss, and it’s expensive…but there’s not a lot of other options nearby. I hate giving Jeff B money. If you stick to the better items in the produce section, and buy the in-house brand of other items, you can make it out of there without feeling like you’ve been robbed by a billionaire.

I've noticed the staff in this location are very serious, and unfriendly. The food I bought had mold, that's a serious problem. I went back to get my refund, it honestly was a waste of my time to shop at this location.Thank you for your response and I do want to add on the food product that had mold on it was the immaculate organic crescent rolls. I advise the staff to carefully review them. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The Whole Foods Market has the most diverse selection of organic options available! Their offerings include organic and nutritious options for everyday use! Everything is clean in the store and the display is always fresh and healthy! I highly recommend this Market’

The place has deteriorated so much that we stopped buying anything perishable - they obviously have refrigeration problems and I'm surprised, considering the prices, that people still patronize them. Now, they would not accept amazon returns because "the computer broke down" and they would not bother to do it manually anymore. OK.

The store is on the pricier side, but this is expected as they claim to use all organic products. During peak hours, parking can be challenging to find. The staff are pleasant, and there are seldom long lines. While not as large as the downtown store, it sufficiently stocks all the essentials.

What ever you were normaly expecting for service from the deli department, try and lower it so your expectations aren't totally smashed considering the redunk prices.. i live across the street and it is literally getting worse every time I come here

The only reason I shop here at all is it's walkable from my home. The produce purchased here frequently rots within 48 hours of purchase. I've wasted hundreds of dollars in the last year. A thickly waxed acorn squash had several spots of visible mold on the exterior 5 days after buying from this store. I've had acorn squash last on the counter for a month when purchased elsewhere. Whole foods brand trimmed green beans were rotten on 12/13 when the package was dated 12/15. I am genuinely curious if all the fresh food items are just very old or if the tight design of the store is putting fruits and vegetables too close together speeding their decay. Beware buying anything fresh here unless you are using it the day of purchase.

A great place to shop for some goods you can't find anywhere else. A bit pricey but with a prime membership,it becomes a bit more affordable.The best part is most things sold there are organic making the taste a bit more spectacular.

What Happened?? I was there last week. The store was dirty, with many empty shelves. The greens were all spoiled in their plastic boxes. The dairy case for butter was empty. The once beautiful bakery selection was a mess and where there used to be an abundance of beautiful baked goods, there was a small assortment of dry old unappealing items. Whole Foods in JP used to be special and nice to shop in. Not so much these days. Come on management!! Will you make an effort and please sort this out?

Poorly managed store. I went in tonight and reluctantly used their self check out because the lines are always terrible. Needed assistance and NOBODY was to be found to assist. It's bad enough that you have to use self checkout but totally unacceptable that nobody is around to help with a problem (in this case a coupon I wanted to use.) Left all the stuff there and went to CVS and Stop and Shop. Terrible.Hot bar is always unkempt with old dried out food. Employees are impolite and move through the store like you, the customer, are in their way cutting in front of you without apology. I don't know how the management gets away with running a store like this.

I've experienced this problem multiple times, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating. Over the past month, I've encountered numerous issues with their products, ranging from expired food to rotten items. It's not just one store either; both the Whole Food locations in Jamaica Plain and Charlestown seem to be selling rotten food. It's incredibly inconvenient to realize at home that I've purchased spoiled and expired products, only to find out that they won't refund my money unless I return to the store with the receipt. Unfortunately, I tend to throw away my receipts almost every time, so it's a lose-lose situation for me. So, keep your receipts until you make sure all the products are good .

A typical Whole Foods, organic and fresh food. If is that what you are looking for, go for it. Just expect pay for that, specially in Boston. This specific store is smaller then the usually Whole Foods, but still having all the basics things that all while foods have!

This place is a hit or miss when it comes to its sushi and common food items. This store no longer carries the regular cesar salad dressing,which I brushed off, tried their vegan and don’t bother with the vegan sauce because is awful to say the least. Their sushi a week ago was passable,I ignored that some of their rolls weren’t done with care but the food was still edible. Today (8/19/19-forgot to post this review)I went to bought some sushi for lunch,and ended my lunch with me having to toss the rest of the food because the rice was uncooked. If you zoom into the picture taken you can clearly see,what I didn’t see when I bought the food,uncooked rice white pieces of rice.

This branch of whole foods has to be one of the sweetest locations to the chain. The organization and cleanliness in this particular branch always surprises me considering how huge this particular branch is. Unless you're in a rush and have other things to do, you almost want to spend extra time strolling the aisles and looking over their products, Not to mention the location itself. The downside to visiting this location is losing time by lingering too long in the surroundings!

The neighborhood affectionately calls it Half Foods due to its limited selection. The Amazon Drop Box is "out of service" frequently for weeks at a time. The last 2x this happened i actually attempted to call Amazon customer service 🤣 because the WF customer service shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing else they could do. They too had "called them"

First time at this location. Clean and very organized. Friendly and helpful staff. I went to return an Amazon item and this was the closet location. It was a pretty dope experience as I usually would give to an associate (as stated in email). I got in the Amazon return line and one piece of advice I would give is to be patient. People might have more than one return. I did not have the original packaging, but there were bags available. All I had to do was scan the barcode from email, the machine prints the return label, seal the item in the bag, put the label on, once the vault unlocks, place the item inside, close, vault locks and be on your way 😎😃

I'll admit I've always hated shopping at whole foods, so expensive and for what. But they are always really good at having all the higher end items grocery stores never have when you want to splurge some money on yourself
