Awesome staff, nice variety of firearms. Much better than the other places that have everything behind the counter. Here, you can grab whatever rifle that you’re interested in and see the prices etc. Very acknowledgeable, honest place. Highly recommended here if you’re in the north shore area.

Steve and Doug without a doubt have to be my favorite customer service interaction i've dealt with. Very knowledgabe, make you feel right at home and the prices for the State of MA are amazing, even near close to retail for most products. Definitely recommend this store to anyone in the Essex MA area.

To the reviewer who had the bad experience with the bald guy - I agree completely, but have good news for you. Patriot Arms has changed ownership! The workers who are here now are nice and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. They seem to get an interesting selection of used guns. I wish them all the best.

New ownership ='s MUCH better shopping experience!The OLD owner was your tragically typical obese, balding, loud-mouth gun shop owner. Tried to sell me a beat-up Norinco SKS when I went in there looking for an AR. Tried to tell me the Norinco SKS is more accurate at longer ranges than the Windham AR, and is much better built... Yeah. Anything for a sale, right?Now? The staff is knowledgeable, polite, VERY helpful, and they DO NOT TRY TO BLOW SMOKE UP YOUR A**. Stock is solid, ammo selection comprehensive, and the prices fair market. A perfect local gun shop to visit... Such a nice change from where it was a year ago!!!
