My neighborhood store, there's a new cashier,short overweight female with the worst attitude ever, didn't even greet me,the female didn't even tell me my total I had to ask because she was just a lump on a log. Worst customer service,that person shouldn't be dealing with customers AT ALL. I handed her a 50 bill n she held it up like 5 different times,called the manager and all, only to find out it's a real bill. Definitely shouldn't be working as a cashier.

They wouldn’t refund me the moldy cheese that I bought from them the same day, store is trashed all the time, cashiers on their personal phones when large lines…. How is this place still open?

The store is always a mess and the staff constantly close the store early and hangout inside til ten to get paid. The store manager needs to be retrained on proper handling of customer complaints when customer is in front of them. None of them have a uniform on so you never know who's actually working or just hanging out. This store needs to be demolished Indian orchard would be better off without it.

The Family Dollar at 354 Main St, Indian Orchard, MA 01151 seems to always be "closed" early. Every Saturday night for the last month, it's been closed by 8pm even though the posted closing time is 10pm, which could constitute as false advertising. Instead of always closing early violating their posted hours, maybe they should just close the store since they don't seem to be able to staff & run it properly.

Always unorganized & dirty. Products are difficult to find and many times out of stock. Boxes are stacked throughout the aisles making it hard to navigate and unsafe.

Bad serviceI go in with my kids and family the items are put in different place and when I got to the register the prices are higher then what they are my husband gets annoyed with the lady at the register not just because the high price but she changes the total of everything from the what register shows on the monitor facing us so he says it in angry voice and when he leaves with the kids the lady assumes he was yelling at me and says sorry for having him yell at you I hope he doesn't do anything why would you be completely disrespectful assuming my husband would hurt me like you guys are completely unprofessional and disrespectful and way over priced then any family dollar I have been to and trust me I've been to at least 20 family dollars in the past year and they are all the same learn to actually do your jobs correctly

New manager and employees are very rude my mom fell outside store we never filed a law suit because they let her take the cart home and now all of a sudden they have a problem with her takeing the cart home well it looks like they are going to have a law suit on them now. If there were negative stars i would give them -5

The manager, Tyler, and his assistant manager do not know their company's policies on returns. I had purchased three bags of Eatz toffee covered nuts. After opening one bag, I realized the nuts were rancid. The assistant manager would not give me a refund for the opened bag, even though on the bag it reads that they can be returned for a full refund within 30 days with a receipt at any Family Dollar store if the customer is not completely satisfied. The assistant manager said that her manager, Tyler, does not allow refunds for opened merchandise under any circumstances. She tried calling him, but he didn't answer the phone. I told her that the company's return policy is clearly stated and that the satisfaction guarantee on the Eatz bag of nuts constitutes a contract. She just kept saying, "I understand what you're saying, but I can't give you a refund." I received my refund for the unopened bags, left the store, and went to the store on Parker Street, where the cashier immediately gave me a refund when I handed her the opened bag and the receipt. When I called the Indian Orchard store to speak with Tyler about the incident with his assistant manager, I could barely understand him. His mumbling forced me to ask him to repeat himself several times. When I explained to him the company's return policy, which I looked up online, and the Eatz return policy, which is clearly stated on its products, he said, "I'll have to look into it." He also said that he doesn't provide refunds for returned merchandise because "there's nothing I can do with it." It's clear that Tyler lacks commonsense and that those unopened bags of nuts that I returned were probably just put back on the shelf. His assistant manager has no training and clearly can't be bothered to learn something as basic as her store's return policy. An assistant manager should not have to call the manager at home over something so trivial. Their lack of professionalism, basic commonsense, and inadequate training were so over the top that it could have been a comedy skit on Saturday Night Live.

My experience was horrible. Went in to return some items I purchased yesterday. I specifically asked yesterday if the items didn't fit could I return them. She said yes as long as I had the receipt. Today the clerk refused to accept the item. That wasn't the worst. When I asked if they had a fitting room. Then clerk said no and I should know my size and arrogantly said next customer.. Needless to say I will never shop at Family dollar again.

Really good deals here butt some really bad ones too. Taking advantage of society that can't afford clothing they think at a regular place when they buy something here for $10 that they could have got at the mall for $10 and it falls apart in a day or two. I've never bought any clothing or anything at a Family Dollar or a dollar store but I came here because I needed to get some like baby wipes even though I don't have kids because I like to be clean and they had so many deals on that so I give them four stars. One reason I only gave them four stars is because one star is for the customer service.

They maybe 3 carriages at any given time. There are boxes of merchindmer that needs to be put on shelves blocking shelves and isles so you can't get to anything. When they first opened it was clean and organized. Now it's chaos. Very disappointed in the way they have let the store go.

I have been visiting this store for 3 years and I never had a issue until I had to exchange some curtains and really gave me a hard time and did not want to put my money back into my credit card,they wanted give a store credit I took the curtains to another family dollor and with no issues gave me my money back into my credit card and was very polite in explaining their return policy unlike the Spanish "manager or who ever she is in the Indian Orchard store "I definitely will travel a little more but will go to a store where the employees know how to treat their customers..Very disappointed in the way I was treated

This is a newer family Dollar...and as far as family Dollars go, this one's pretty bright and clean...they have a pretty good variety of things to choose from but everything still does have buzzers on it as with is all Family Dollars. There grocery section is actually pretty good as they have almost an entire wall of refrigerator items. They're dry goods area goes halfway back also so what is that... six or seven rows to choose from.

Let me tell u something the girl that was working at Indian Orchard family dollar was sweetest girl EVER 2PM TODAY OMGOSH I just can't say enough , that's the way customer service should be. I hope your reading this family dollar corporate , way to go hiring her!!!!! Give her full time if she wants!!! It'll make more go in there more, hee hee jk I go there anyway, from Wilbraham its a hike but worth it yeah yeah parker street is closer but idk I like this one better!!

I called the store at 9:38 asking if they had the product the Google saying they had I'm sorry I could not understand his name but he said he didn't have time the store was closing. Either she's new and doesn't know what his store has or he was just damn lazy and didn't want to do anything and get out of his job. Very poor and substandard customer service

Hello manager of this location,hopefully ur aware theres a pandemic call covid-19..if you are maybe tell your employees to wear masks!!older gentleman n stockers NOT WEARING ONE SEVERAL WEEKS,i just to go in at least twice a week,months ago,but due to ignorance of workers i gone twice in a month..store has signs that customers wear one,well state mandates ALL TO DO SO!!!

I just call the Indian Orchard store and asked for the manager and the dude said hold on then he came back and said she is not available but I did here her speaking to him. this store is getting crazy and telling my husband they cant take those here as they were not bought here and we dont have those. I want a number for corporate.

This store and manager do not even deserve one star!!! Manager harrassed and discriminated against me yesterday. Had the nerve to call me "the type of customer blah blah blah.". I have a call into the main office. Let's see if they are any better.

This store is the worst company. The employees are rude, unhelpful, boxes an carts down every isle an the employees don't help to move the stuff even though there's 5 employees standing around, there is open food packages on shelves that the employees are snacking on. They won't give you a receipt because the machine jams (how about fix the register). I don't understand why this store is still open

I was having a extreme problem with their app giving me a $10 off coupon at xmas time, even though a line accumulated and I kept saying forget it, the employees did not give up till it worked, they are ALWAYS helpful.
