At one time this grocery store actually used to have one-way food aisles. It is very much reminiscent when you shop here because there is very little room to maneuver, everyone is in everyone elses way. The customers and the employees all seemed miserable. There are other grocery store options close by.

Always go in for a freshly made salad...great selections to choose from usually. Pizza and sandwiches made to order... Price VERY reasonable compared to sandwich shops & pizzerias without the compromise of quality. Oh yeah canolis also...gotta love it. In my opinion it beats Stop n Shop by a long shot !

Sorry stop and shop and Market basket, but shaws always has better meats. The steak tips are always great because they are sliced thick in strips. Good prices, too!!! Then I can cut them in thick tips, yum!

Yesterday afternoon I went in to pick up a few items. I had a couple of problems with a digital coupon and using the self service check out. The young woman working at the self check out area answered every question and resolved every problem quickly and efficiently. A.very pleasant surprise. You just don't find customer service people like that nowadays.

This store is a go-to for me. I tend to shop at the larger stores due to convenience however it seems I always find that one item I need here. This store reminds me of an IGA store,small a little crowded but clean,and a friendly place! The staff I encounter are always friendly as well as the service departments. Definitely don’t underestimate the smaller store:)

This is the smaller Star Market. The store is clean. Employees were very friendly. Our checkout person knew her customers by name. It was a refreshing hometown feeling.

Tiny store. Reminds me of the ones on the Islands. A little bit of selection. The guys at the deli were awesome and I only waited a few minutes to be served. The cashiers and baggers were way more interested in chatting with each other than working, and it felt awkward, like I was eavesdropping on a private conversation. I ended up bagging my own things, despite a girl being there to bag.It's definitely convenient, so I will end up there if I'm in the neighborhood.

This Shaw's is a joke they didn't have any of the things that were on sale. The shelves were bare all over the store and the kicker was in the produce department all the peppers had visible mold when I pointed it out to the person working there he went and got a box and removed them a few minutes later someone else brought them back when I went to see if these were better I realized they were the same peppers that they tried to rinse the mold off of I will never shop there again

Poor selection, weak produce. Meat prices seem ridiculously high. I wanted steak tips Their price, $54 for a Value Pack, which I would expect to pay around $27-$33.I live next to this market but every year their prices seem to soar for the summer tourist season. I actually drive to Market Basket in Bourne, half hour away. Better selection, fair and consistent pricing. See u in the fall, Star, maybe...

Didnt like the way the cashier barked at me "only one order at a time on the belt!"Seriously? No sign, no instructions given- just supposed to know this?And it's not as if there wasn't space between orders...2 feet.But apparently it's supposed to be common knowledge that you are too wait till ALL the other customers groceries are moved beyond scanner. She then tosses the divider and says "NOW, you can put your stuff down"

Great place... Staff is friendly.. not much staff rotation. Most employees have been there for many years... Well kept... Has at least one of everything needed but due to its size it's kind of limited on choices campared to the bigger stores... But it beats braving the traffic to go across town. Highly recommended.

As Star Markets tend to be this store is small, but don't let that fool you. The selection and customer service is great. I used to run into Ethel Kennedy shopping here all the time; it's very popular with the Hyannisport crowd for good reason. It's also very popular with junkies, so be sure to lock the car.

Generally a good spot, but with somewhat limited inventory. For example I went looking for the quinoa in the flyer and couldn't even find a shelf tag. If you stock a few kinds of couscous, why not quinoa?

The store was in bad shape. Something must have broken because there was hoses all along the dairy and frozen food departments. The Bagels I love are gone. I was looking for dye and they don't sell it. I helped bag my groceries and the clerk didn't even say thank you. Disappointed.

Nice local grocery store. Good selection. Sadly, all of their in-house bakery items used soybean oil. (Severe allergy) Deli had some great items. Store was clean and staff friendly.

I found this Shaws/Star market, to be packed w all you could possibly need. It has a great florist w a wide variety of flowers but, also great plants in decorative planters. I really liked their produce dept, as well as their bakery. They use the space well too, hanging hair accessories above in an aisle, where there would have not been room if they were not hung above...lots of herbs and spices too..I really liked this store. I'm from Foxboro, so I only go there when I'm visiting my friend in Hyannis.

I used love thus place. But there prices have sky rocketed. The people have become just deplorable!! The gm Gerry is a real good guy. But I would have to take up his whole day pointing out everything that is wrong. In a real pinch ill go there. But Stop & Shop here I come.GREAT PRICES AND REAL GIID AND HAPPY PEOPLE. I FELL WELLCOME. SAD TK SEE HOW Fast and hard Shaws has fallen. Good bye!!
