We found Tabitha on petfinder and were able to book an appointment to adopt within the week. All the volunteers were masked and respecting distance, lots of sanitation considerations too. They sent us off with toys and lots of love for our new kitty.

The group of friends I was vacationing with found a young pelican on Madeira Beach that was struggling. We called Seaside Animal Rescue. They arrived within an hour and took the bird to safety. Call them whenever you find an animal in need.

Shelter is disorganized and should have electronic applications that can we done online. I Think application should be done and approved before meeting the animals. They also need to communicate more during the whole process. I honestly have been turn off from adopting from a shelter because after my experiences so far. I honestly think it it easier to apply for a job then to get a cat from a shelter.

I got denied because "im not financially ready because im 22 and live with a family member"I work full time and hate to say, housing isnt an easy thing now a days so yes, I do live with family. Getting denied because "im 22 and live with family" is insane to me. I had everything ready to go and saved up but they expect you to be rich and if your in your early 20s then forget itNot to mention the ridiculous questions they ask. Even though I would be the owner they asked family if they were ready to take care of it after im done and factored that into the decision. Please, go to a real shelter and not this oneJust like these other reviews, Judy was the one who decided to insult me.

Judy handles the applications. Judy wanted to know where my husband works and his position. Proof of income wasn't sufficient for her. Judy wanted my cat from 1997 whose now dead-vets name. I dont have that information. When I said “I’d like to retract my application I’m not comfortable.” Judy proceeded to call me a “idiot.”I want to adopt a cat. Im not asking for a mortgage preapproval. Just needs to retire.

Me and my fiancé went in to find kittens and the whole adoption situation was so unprofessional and unorganized. We were ultimately left in a room waiting for half an hour only for them to ask us unbelievably stupid questions such as if we broke up who would keep the cat! Never coming back.

Great rescue shelter for cats. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the care of the volunteers for their cats who are awaiting new homes. I just adopted a cat from them and was very happy with the amount of Vet Care that my new kitty received prior to me picking him up. They're absolutely wonderful. There is a Fee, as with most shelters. The Fee goes to help fund what they do.

Ellen & her team at Seaside Animal Rescue went above and beyond helping me rescue a stray cat that I found on the side of the road. Ellen was generous and compassionate and clearly loves cats. It felt like a family when we went back to adopt a cat, they made it the process enjoyable. I highly recommend working with them.

I had enjoyed visiting with the cats now and again and was asked to stop coming. ( no, not kidding!) No explanation as to why. what a slap in the face! I had made monetary donations along with donations of food in the past. If you adopt here, have the cat fully checked out by your OWN VET to make sure there are no issues that were "accidentally not disclosed." to you. Some staffers were friendly while others were not. Just be cautious here.

Cats roam freely within the rooms, not cooped up in small cages like many other shelters. The shelter is clean and the cats seem happy. You can really get to interact with the cats so you can choose the right one for you.

I am disappointed that they didn’t call me back when I reported an injured bird on the side of the road. The other birds were crying around it and when they couldn’t help, they flew away.
