I took my very sick cat in on June 19th. The vet said several times that she was concerned about my cats breathing but they did the planned procedure anyway. She died later that night. I am not accusing them of contributing to her death but I do not think that it was ethical to say nothing about how poor of a condition she was in. I don't understand why the decision to proceed was made, especially since they knew how I had to beg, borrow, and barter to pay for the treatment, which was nearly $1000. It felt like a money grab to me.I called that very day to tell them the awful way in which Tatiana passed and I didn't get a callback for days. I can't shake the feeling that I was taken advantage of in my vulnerable state.

I took one of my dogs in today for his pre-op. appointment for his neuter next week. My dogs typically see Dr. Roman who we love, so I was hesitant to instead make an appointment with Dr. Soco when the receptionist told me that she is MASH’s lead surgeon because Dr. Roman no longer does surgeries. Needless to say, Dr. Soco is amazing and I couldn’t be happier that I met her! She is so friendly, kind and really took her time to discuss my dog’s pre- and post-operative care, as well as a few other concerns I’ve been having. I love her very holistic, honest and sensible views on pet healthcare and well-being, and she gave me some great tips as well. She is wonderful, as is the rest of the MASH crew! Very highly recommended and totally worth the drive.

Dr. Roman helped give our dog new life, after a bad prognosis from mesothelioma, a heart tumor and pleural effusion a year ago. After another wonderful vet in an ER performed a successful procedure to remove fluid from our dog’s lungs, and letting us know it was a temporary fix, Dr. Roman’s special integrative medicine treatments, herbs and vitamins, and even regular medicines have helped elevate our dog’s immune system , which has resulted in the increase in her quality and length of life. When people see our 14 yr. old dog, they think she is a puppy! We drive two hours each way to her office as well as seeing our regular local vet - A formula that has been working well. When you meet Dr. Roman, you sense her wisdom and her many years of clinical experience, along with her dedication and sincere concern for all of her patients. It’s no wonder she has a big following of other grateful families like ours !

We reached out to MASH in an attempt to find a vet for our dog. No one answered the phone the first time we called. So we sent an email - never got a response. The second time we left a VM - still no response. The third time we called, we had a very short conversation with a staff member who told us to fill out a request form online, and then ended the call. Like a fool, we submitted an online request. Nearly three weeks later we received a call. When I pointed out how long it had take to get a response, their reply was along the lines of I was getting a call in the same month and that's doing good (apparently there are staffing issues). Needless to say, we had already found another vet. If you believe that your animal's well-being is a collaborative process with your vet, then explore other options. I'm not trusting the health of my animal to an organization that can't communicate with me in a timely and effective manner.

This vet was recommended when conventional therapy failed. Dr Roman called us to check up on the cats on weekends and at night when she was closed. She helped us through our grief when we lost one of our boys to old age (28) at home. She healed two of our cats when were unsure what was wrong. They are great now!

Dr Roman has been an incredible resource and a wealth of knowledge in natural remedies and pain management for our boy Odie. From our first visit with her, she administered ozone therapy and reccomended fecal transplant which helped my boys gut health and ended his diarrhea. We've come in for back pain when he ran into a glass door and Lazer therapy, acupuncture, and ozone instantly helped him! Grateful for all she does and will continue to seek her expertise with my fur children

I went there to have my perfectly healthy dogs teeth cleaned, and they literally killed her with anesthesia. She was only 5.No compensation. Just called the police on me because I obviously wasn’t happy.This place should not be in business

I have had a great experience at this clinic. One of my dog's had Mast Cell Tumors as a puppy and our conventional vet only offered surgery and chemotherapy as a treatment. Instead, we chose to take our 12-week-old puppy to M.A.S.H. where they treated her cancer with a species appropriate diet and natural supplements. We had our amazing pup for 10 years which was a miracle! Now, I have another dog who is in good physical health but seemed to have anxiety issues and GI issues intermittently. Dr. Washington has been treating her with natural supplements and a diet specific to her body's needs. Her anxiety and GI issues have improved so much. I am VERY happy with Dr. Washington. She is very knowledgeable and is great at explaining everything in layman's terms. She's also conscious about my budget and has helped keep everything at a price I can afford.

My 13 year old dog Rosie had a mast cell tumor in her mouth and we were referred to MASH after her surgery for further treatment. They have done a number of therapies: oxygen therapy, fecal implant, acupuncture, chiropractic and laser therapy. Rosie has a number of issues with her back and rear legs and the therapies seem to be helping. I cannot recommend them more highly. Everyone is caring and interested in Rosie’s wellbeing!

They provide holistic veterinary care. They are very caring and from the moment I went in, I could feel the good energy. They took the time to educate me and have been patient with my conversion from traditional care of my pets to a more natural approach. They offer many different therapies, including acupuncture and chinese herbs. They also have a fear-free certified practitioner.

I would like to highly recommend Dr. Margo Roman as your pet's veterinarian. My experience with her and her staff was so impressive and I consider myself blessed to have found her to care for my cat Jake. She employs holistic healing and unlike many other vets I turned to in an attempt to diagnose my cat, I found that none were experienced or caring enough to come to a diagnosis. It was a completely different experience with Dr. Roman, she wanted to know every possible thing about Jake in order to come to the right conclusion. She put in the necessary time to find out what was wrong with my cat and she literally saved his life. After my experience with Dr. Roman I will only allow her to care for Jake and I drive from New York City to bring him to her. Dr. Roman is a kind person who really cares about animals and their well-being. I can't thank her enough for what she's done for me and Jake. My only regret is that I wish I found her sooner.

Dr Roman is a genius, far ahead of her time. Yes, some of the therapies she recommends are different than you'll get at a traditional vet, but as a long term client of hers, I'll tell you that she's on the cutting edge. I had a rottweiler with advanced kidney disease and my traditional vet told me about 6 months of life left in her. In desperation, I searched out a holistic vet and found MASH. Long story short, 8 years later, she passed of natural causes. She was 14, which is unheard of for a rott. I had several rottweilers who all lived to ripe old ages through their care. I currently have a giant breed dog who is going into her 11th year and still maintains an active and full life. Most giant breeds live 8-10 years, I'm hoping to get mine to 15. Here's praying - with the help of God, proper nutrition, good exercise, and the team at MASH, I believe she'll get there.

We have a very young Lab, 3yrs old, who has cancer which has moved to his lungs. Dr. Roman as very caring and concerned about how can we see if we can get his system to stop it from progressing. Your initial visit may be overwhelming in trying to take in everything, you definitely have to watch the videos in advance of your visit. We saw an immediate improvement in how our lab was feeling after just one visit.Holistic medicine is not inexpensive. However the alternative of 100% conventional medicine which can result in over vaccination and killing all the microbio isms in their GI which can assist in cancer forming is not the answer.

Our visit was positive in every respect. Everyone we've interacted with was highly knowledgeable, professional, and truly gifted with the animals. In addition, and this is where they set themselves apart in my opinion, is the attention paid to every aspect of your pet's life, and the insight and compassion evident in their wholistic approach. I took a stray cat there once and would not go back. I was skeptical of the "treatment" the vet recommended. She was pushing hundreds of dollars in supplements and barely touched the cat, who was in poor physical condition and infested with ticks.
