The assistant Mike(large guy) smells really bad. I've shopped here for nearly a decade and I don't know how that person got hired. They are rude, lazy, and stinky. He never assists you even when you directly ask for it, and he's the only assistant that you never see actually working. Amazing management and employees, but this person really stands out for all the wrong reasons.

I visit this store frequently and today 8/10/20 around 1 pm a new cashier essential worker lady and she was fabulous. Customer service at its finest. Your store needs someone like her !!!! Music was excellent!! Great addition to your team.Much appreciated.Miss Patty

Love the store the prices but it is such a mess. Find some help and clean it up. You cannot get down the aisles everything is a total mess disorganized. If i owned it i would take more pride in my store.It is such a great store to have but just clean it up. You will see more people come in to shop.I tollerate it because of convienance and it has some great deals. And if your in a wheelchair forget it you would not fit down the aisles...some things to think about for future reference.

This is great store for families as in the title each person in my family ends up with at least one item each and every trip. Luckily prices are low so we can get each kid something or many somethings for every one

Wide selection of items. You'll find everything from frozen foods to seasonal items to groceries to health and beauty care . Can't find it at the place your at try Family Dollar. Very reasonable prices.

I still like Family Dollar quite a bit and though I live right off Oak St. in Brockton, (with a Family Dollar in the plaza on Oak St. directly across Freon Raymond school), I much rather prefer to be a patron to this Holbrook store on Franklin St. The Oak St. store in Brockton is always disgustingly dirty, (though it seems that I haven't been to a truly clean Family Dollar location anywhere in the last decade- they have all become sloppy, I believe stemming from corporate's lack of strictly maintaining standards uniformly with now almost any* franchises, *nevermind every). The Oak St. store always has still-boxed merchandise that is consistently seems to take forever to be put out and therefore never seems to get new merchandise. Before deciding to switch locations, I actually even starting going thru the still-boxed merchandise flooding floor aisles for weeks on end. Their manager is not at all personable and on many occasions, has allowed employees to leave for the end of their shift/break & even laze about in the chair at the store computer for filing out applications with an extremely long line, in which many of those customers in that line are frequently and openly complaining about without hesitation. They habe told me on at least 4 occasions they could not sell me items I picked up off shelving displays as the particular items in question were supposedly discontinued having came up in their register for only $0.01- which this is against federal laws. If you didn't remover it from your shelf when ur supposed to, but corporate discontinued the item sku, doesn't matter, you still have to sell in to either as advertised/ priced on the shelf or at a manually adj price determined by the manager. And lastly, Oak St. is consistently and quite sadly understaffed. Franklin St. store in Holbrook is MUCH CLEANER; MORE RESPONSIBLE when putting out new stock/ taking down discontinued/ and even reordering when low; the manager is way more friendly and definitely more qualified for his position, ensuring proper staffing and that customers are assisted and cashed out efficiently. Oak St. is an F when it comes to Family Dollar locations and Franklin St. is more like a B-/C+. Lol

Place don't deserve any reviews nothing but rude people! The guy working the cash register had no idea what he was doing and the manager was a jerk. I wouldn't recommend this location

Not the cleanest environment and the inventory is abysmal but it's a convenient stop if you live nearby. There's a new store at the other end of town that's fully stocked.

I love family Dollar I shop here for everything from food to clothing I mostly shop for cleaning products for the home, everything here is less expensive than the normal prices elsewhere also has a bit of country charm to the experience like a older store would.
