I moved to the South Shore less than 2 years ago, and Polka has been the highlight of my move. My dog Gumbo practically grew up going in there and never wants to leave the store. We love Noelle so much! She is the most attentive, thoughtful and caring individual we have ever met at Polka (all locations). If they ever run out of an item my dog is obsessed with, Noelle will take it up on herself to find me the item and then message me via social media when the item is in store. No one else provides that kind of customer service. When my dog had a pretty serious surgery in the fall, she even sent him a little care package. It gives me a lot of joy being able to support a local business with such an amazing team. Well done Polka!

We love PolkaDog bakery! They have some of my dog’s favorite treats, and I love the ingredients. When we visit, everyone in the shop is so nice. The workers are always friendly and welcoming to both me and my dog. They are quick offer advice and help pick out the perfect treats or toys for my pup. Hands down my favorite dog shops in the area!

I normally don’t write reviews but these are the sweetest people ever, they chatted with me about my dog and helped me pick the perfect treats for him and even gave me little treats as a freebie for my dogs birthday because they noticed I was buying a birthday bone :)) best treat store especially since they know everything that’s in every treat. I’ve had my dog for a year now and I wouldn’t get his treats from anywhere else. Thank you! :))

I Will never shop here ever again. The food and treats made my dog incredibly sick, the sale person with the blonde hair and attitude kept trying to upsell me, this entire place is a sham. My dog has never had these reactions to any food or treats. His stool now has blood in it and he has the runs, he’s been throwing up. I’ve made an appointment for him to be seen from our vet. Please be expecting our bill. BUYER BEWARE.

First time going to a PolkaDog and I can’t stress enough how the management needs a re-up. Walked in and did not get greeted, I was searching for a while for raw-hide alternative treats and when I finally got a hold of someone working there they walked me over to their “No Hide” brand and then didn’t say anything more. I bought the treats, went home and gave it to my dog ( 5 y/o Fox red lab) and he got violently ill all night. He usually doesn’t have food aversions or allergies, so I’m chalking it up to something in the treats not being up to par for standards.This happened a couple weeks back, and I thought I saw little bugs in with them as well but didn’t say a word when I should have, not that anyone would have given a thought to do anything about it based on their reaction to helping me. I wouldn’t come back here again and I suggest you don’t either.

Always a great experience from the staff, they make Bentley feel like a superstar every time we go in and he’s found some amazing treats. Everything from training treats all the way to no hide and bully sticks to keep him busy!

What a wonderful store! I went in this morningto pick up some Fromm for my sisters dog. The young lady on duty was so nice and we had a beautiful conversation about my dog Petunia who I lost a few months ago. She was very sweet and went over everything I had questions on. This place is the BEST! I stumbled across it on my way to Panera. The dog treats are Phenomenal! The staff are all very nice! A very big selection of treats, dog food, leashes, and lots of other cool doggie stuff. I wish that they get some doggie scarfs soon! Def go and check out this place! I am so happy this place is right up the road from my house. You can bring your dog in there too!!!! Bonus!

Just the Truth

2 thursdays ago the Polkadog bakery came to my apartment complex's dog park with a table of products. Since them my 9 year old lab has been sick. From what you might ask? The polkadog bakery left multiple cheap little bite sized rubber sqeaker toys in the park. These little toys get bloated and expand to the size of a softball by the time my dog has been throwing them up.(4 of them so far.) They are extremely dangerous and are shocked they would be so careless to just leave them behind. Would love a response on why?

Fun store for the dog.....tons of bulk items....dogs allowed in so that's always a plus. Seemed to be clean and people were staying distanced.....everyone was wearing masks too.....
