In the process of restoring my 18th century barn with new cedar shakes I knew I had to go see Tom at Aubuchon in Haverhill for advice and stain samples. Tom is incredibly knowledgeable about all the different applications and products but he’s also willing to go above and beyond. He went as far as transferring product from other store’s out of state and even picking some of it up himself after work to make sure I had it in time for my project.I would recommend anyone with a paint or stain project go see Tom at Aubuchon in Haverhill, you wont be disappointed.

picked up an online order a couple weeks ago.. then today saw myself posted on facebook looking to be identified for a shoplifting…shoplifting of my own order. glad i caught it early enough to have it taken down. absolutely disgusting behavior. obviously these people aren’t competent enough to own an establishment. if this can happen to me here it can happen to you. taking my business elsewhere.

I recently went to Aubuchon Hardware to purchase a ratchet, and I must say that I was extremely impressed with the store and its customer service. The best part about it is that it's located very close to my house, which is super convenient. I've always preferred to shop at local stores as they tend to care more about their customers, and Aubuchon Hardware proved that to be true.The store itself was very clean and well-organized. I was able to find what I needed quickly and easily without having to wander around aimlessly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they genuinely seemed interested in helping me find the right tool for the job.One thing that really stood out to me was how knowledgeable the staff were. I had a few questions about different ratchets, and the staff member I spoke with was able to answer all of my questions and offer some additional tips and advice. They clearly know their stuff and are passionate about the products they sell.I also appreciated that they had a good selection of different ratchets to choose from. I was able to find one that met my specific needs without having to settle for something that wasn't quite right.Overall, I would highly recommend Aubuchon Hardware to anyone looking for quality tools and excellent customer service. They really do care about their clients, and it shows in every aspect of the store. I will definitely be returning for any future hardware needs.

Beware of online purchases, the manager might file a false police report for shoplifting when you go pick it up. The police blasted social media with a picture of my son & his girlfriend as wanted for a suspected shoplifting. This goes beyond incompetence and is absolutely GROSS NEGLIGENCE!

went to the store with my girlfriend to pick up an online order, Received it and confirmed the order then went to buy paint liners. 3 weeks later I see My girlfriend an I posted on facebook haverhill Pd cctv footage of us in line to purchase the paint liners holding the paint already purchased paid for saying “looking for POSSIBLE suspects in a shoplifting”. Lack of trained employees and a very incompetent manager. If this can happen to me it can happen to anyone and is quite scary. Did not expect to see this and i’m very unhappy. We already talked to the PD and should be sorted, we provided proof of purchase and everything. This needs to be addressed and a solution to this needs to become apparent. Very unhappy and won’t be visiting again.

Bought an axe, I like it. I am thinking of going back and getting the 10 pound maul and a cool looking wedge they have.Edit: It’s also hard finding wood handles (I think anyways) and when I was there I saw a good amount of nice oak (?) wood handles (for axes).

I went there and couldn’t find what I was looking for. José, who was new, was SO helpful as was the manager Randy. Also, they let me pull my car up and José helped with some heavy gallons of chlorine & weed killer n put them in my backseat for me. Thank you AUBUCHON on Lincoln Ave in Haverhill where market basket is, the dollar tree & cvs. Always great customer service every time I’ve gone to Aubuchon Hardware. They carry yard decorations & pet food etc too! Not just tools n chemicals.

I love shopping here. It’s right down the street and whether it’s mulch, mice repellant, or even wood pellets for my smoker, they have it and the prices are comparable and sometimes better. For me, it beats a road trip and time spent to the big hardware stores. Get in, get what I need and get home!

This store is great! You can find everything you need, and the staff is very friendly! Robert was very helpful, and very kind. He made my day by being so kind and funny. I did notice that the store could use some more help because Robert was the only one working the morning I came in. They should probably hire some new people!

I went to one of the orange big chain hardware stores to get duplicate keys made. They have the self service machine which looks like the key is cut correctly, however the length of the shoulder was several millimeters too long and there's no way to align the original to correct this issue. My second key the machine couldn't scan so I needed to work with an employee. While failing to notice the key he cut was painfully too long and not matched the cuts of the original, he worked on pulling out a key of a second machine with a pair of pliers to no avail. I accepted his second attempt which looked better but still not correct and received a shrug when I pointed this out.I then spent over an hour trying to find a locksmith that was still in business and had a brick & mortar location, when I finally thought out searching for an Aubuchon. Even though the store is literally on the other side of town from me, due to the fact I explained the issue from the other store the manager Tom explained the issue and would do his best to accommodate me. This is for an item that costs less than I cup of coffee.Just because of his help I spent over an additional $30 that day & another $20 today. Also the key works better than my original.
