Due to illness, I was very late in getting a tree and couldn’t even find a precut tree. My son mentioned Chestnut Mountain because he hikes in the area and they were the only tree farm still open on 12/23. It is a gorgeous farm, allowed my two (leashed) dogs, and I never felt rushed to hurry back with our tree. I haven’t had the chance to cut my own tree in years and this was perfect.

Beautiful tree farm. If you want a tree between 3'-and 6'6" this is the place for you. The trees all have a nice shap .

What an awesome place! We stopped by while visiting Western Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. We specifically looked for a tree farm that we could bring our dog to and Chestnut Mountain came up on Google as dog friendly! We loved walking around, checking out the large selection of trees and cutting down the perfect one to bring back to Boston with us! Our tree is beautiful and I'm so happy with how it looks in our living room. Thanks so much, Chestnut Mountain!

I'm not one to typically write reviews but this place is amazing and well worth one! First off, they're dog friendly, which was so great to include our 4 legged family members to find the perfect Christmas tree (of which they will probably topple over numerous times, so their opinion counts). Second, every single person we encountered working was beyond friendly and super helpful. Third and most important, the trees are gorgeous, and for the first time in years, I spared my husband several hours in the cold of finding the perfect tree and almost found this one within minutes...and several others that I contemplated... Overall, get your tree here and you won't be disappointed!

This was such a great farm to buy a Christmas tree from! The customer service was outstanding, especially from the employee named Jake. He helped us throughout the entire process and made it feel seamless. He joined us in the field and cut down the tree, netted it up, and placed it on our car for us. We were then offered Cider and cookies from his family to warm up inside. I Highly recommend this farm!

Just picked up a fresh cut 5-footer this afternoon. They prune their trees beautifully, and @ $55 (including MA tax) very price competitive for the area. Plus: It always feels good to provide direct financial support to friendly local family-business-folk.

A beautiful setting with a HUGE selection of well-pruned trees that are very reasonably priced, friendly and informed staff, and free cookies and cider! A bonus was the free horse-drawn hay wagon ride. All in all an experience that everyone in the family enjoyed from grandparents to two-year old Tommy. Thanks for a wonderful memory.

Trees are ok. Seems there is a shortage every year so mostly they are undersized for 70 bucks. The staff are always helpful and great. Bought here a few to times

This is the fourth year we went to Jake and his team for a tree. We need a tall tree for our house and Chestnut Mountain has not disappointed us. Going there is always an experience with the horse drawn wagon rides, Christmas Music playing, hot cider and lots more.

Beautiful trees and people beautiful. You have the option to cut your own or they can cut it for you. Definitely suggest talking to the kid in camo jacket, very knowledgeable and super helpful!

I took my family here for the first time. And we had a awesome time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was good too. Definitely a place to make memories with your family.
