Dismal. We were back in town for a wedding and stopped by to grab (what we thought would be a quick) breakfast after an early morning rehearsal.It was a rainy day and the place was absolutely dead. It took just under an hour for our group to get two breakfast sandwiches and a toasted bagel with cream cheese (that wasn't even spread). We checked a couple times as multiple groups that had showed up 20+ minutes after us had gotten their food and the staff was incredibly rude and just kept saying that the kitchen was backed up.Eventually we got two dried out sandwiches and they apologized and offered us "a donut or a coffee." Would have been great to just get our food that had clearly been sitting out on a counter for the better part of 45 minutes.

This is an excellent venue to sit outside and enjoy either a cup of coffee or beverage while outdoors. The space does have heaters and covered benches. The seating are not picnic tables which makes it possible to move the sears and make it wheelchair accessible. The entrance to the outdoor garden is brick which can make it difficult for manual chairs. There is a bar outside with a raised countertop to order drinks. In the middle of the beer garden is a large fire pit to keep people warm but can also present a problem in terms of accessibility.

4 stars for the coffee, $1 oysters (often 3-5pm), good beer and drink selection, decent waitstaff, and outdoor seating.2 stars for the slow kitchen with sub par food. The $26 lobster roll was the worst I’ve ever had. Tasted like it was straight from a can or, at best, frozen. Steamed shrimp took 45m while all the other tables arriving after us ate and left by the time we were served. If the kitchen can’t handle certain dishes on certain days, please remove them from the menu. The Cape has a major labor shortage and customers will understand if you reduce your menu to focus on items that can be cooked and served well.

Great spot to stop in at for coffee or a sandwich. Excellent outdoor seating. Good service, great location and easy public parking nearby. Plus Wifi. Highly recommended!

So if you’re here, you’re on island time. When you’re on island time there aren’t any rules you just get to drink whenever where ever. If you wanna have a place to make drinky times with friends, recommend this place.PBR review; 4 out 23 absolutely no PBR in site but the kimchi fries slap so that’s cool

Harwichport is quickly becoming my favorite mid-Cape spot and it's largely because of places like this. Located in the heart of downtown Harwichport, Perks Coffee Shop & Beer Garden offers a great outdoor experience for grabbing a quick bite or having a few cocktails at the outdoor bar before/after the beach.

We really wanted to love this place; but we went to sit at a table for lunch at 11:50am and unfortunately it was a pretty negative experience. Quick tip: Definitely not the place to go with hungry kids!There were only 3 bartenders and one waitress so it took a long time just to figure out how to get our kids some water (we finally learned it was self serve from a water jug past the bar) and ask for a menu. You pick your own table (which is fine but there were no directions or sign), you have to order all food and drinks from the bar (which took forever), and the (okay) food took over an hour after we ordered. We probably ate an hour and a half after arriving.Perks was disappointing; it has so much potential but could definitely use a few changes!

We had Coffees and shared a chocolate cupcake. The coffees were okay & the cupcake was okay, once it defrosted. The service was lacking because the person who took it order was either half asleep or just didn't care. How hard can it be to figure out the difference between a chocolate cupcake and the vanilla? The outside area was definitely Not what I would call clean. They really need to step it up a bit.

Overall, pretty good. Small menu with good tacos and a few kids options. Raw bar around back: the oysters were $1/$2 small/large. There was a decent bit of water on them and some shell pieces, so be careful.

I got two rum and cokes from two different servers. One was $10 the other was $16. Horrible bar service and they overcharge you whenever they feel like it.

Didn't go in to the coffee shop but the beer garden is awesome! Decent amount of seating, cute outdoor bar and a surprisingly large selection of beers on tap! I was impressed!! There was a good sized food menu too, though we didn't order. Prices were all pretty fair.

One of our favorite spots. Perks somehow manages to be lively and relaxing all at once. Fantastic beer list and great cocktails too. The fire pit and gorgeous landscaping/flower boxes make the atmosphere hard to beat. We enjoy coming here with our kids early in the evening, or stopping in solo later on to cap off a date night. Bonus points for the super friendly staff.

Nice little craft beer spot. Prices are about average for the cape. If you are eating food make sure to try the burger, it is delicious! They have a decent selection of local beers. The only problem is having to go to the very small bar to order and it's a nightmare when it's busy

Stopped here 3 times during our short trip to the area. Great location, friendly service, and quality beers on tap. My toddler even had fun playing corn hole. We also stopped in for coffees and pastries which were really good. Cool little spot, wish I had something like this near me.

Awesome bar, corn-hole/bag-o, huge fire place, and an all around GREAT atmosphere! Highly recommend for relaxing place to grab a beer.

They have Wicked Joe coffee that's from Maine. It's delicious. Their food is really good too. They have espresso if you prefer to drink it straight or a nice iced latte on a hot day. They serve food am & pm. Their menu is awesome. I highly recommend stopping here if you are looking for something to eat and / or drink. There is a good amount of options, but not an overwhelming amount to give you a headache. That makes it easy to choose something good. It is also great quality, with good value.

Dogs welcome. Good spot for coffee/breakfast sandwich in the morning, great stop for a beer in the afternoon after the beach. Get the kimchi fries! Beer garden is pretty busy at night on summer weekends.

I think I found my version of heaven; the vibe, the beer and the beer(oh and the food is unbelievable as well)!!! The owners & staff are awesome, bend over backwards for their customers - they even brought out a table for me & my family! Can’t speak more highly of my experience at perks beer garden. Definitely is a must stop on cape cod - in the same class as Beachcomber & Chart Room. One of the best bars/restaurants I’ve ever been to!

Stopped here for Columbus Day weekend - don't really get some of the negative reviews on here. The beer prices are just what you would expect for craft beer options, the sizes were all fine. If you received a 12oz it's probably because it was an imperial stout or Triple IPA with high ABV. The staff was friendly, it was chilly but the fire pit was going. We will definitely stop back.

Great spot for both local beers and fresh food. Sat outside under the canopies for lunch. Pretty impressed with the food - We had the blackened mani sandwiches and tacos, kimchi fries, and steamed shrimp.

Had to write something about the beer garden and food. Firstly they have a fantastic selection of craft beer. If you like IPA's , they knock it out of the park. The food was even better. We started with the buffalo wings which were some the best I've ever had, spiced and char-grilled perfectly, Then my family and I got burgers....again incredible....best burger I've had in a long time. We will back and we've added this spot to our weekly dining list while on vacation...The staff and owner were very courteous and accommodating .

This was my FAVORITE spot last year when we came in from the Worcester area. Unfortunately this year it hasn’t been great and I can no longer convince my bf to go here :( we made plans to come on opening day.. they advertised the time online wrong so we were an hour early. The girls who were there working just looked at a couple of us parties that were standing there to be seated instead of coming over to talk to us. They eventually yelled that they weren’t open yet from afar so we went to 3Monkeys which was great. We came back today for a redemption.. but the Korean street fries broke my heart. They were so good, but we’re cooked so much they were like potato sticks. My gin and tonic didn’t taste good. And the bartender was never fully paying attention when we talked to her. We won’t be back :(

Need to advertise properly. Everything online indicates they're open, but I've been there twice and they were closed both times. If you have a seasonal establishment, you should advertise that. All I wanted was to have a cappuccino and enjoy my first kid free morning after school started. Drove all the way there and NOPE. CLOSED for the Season. I'm not dragging my kids to a coffee shop in the summer so I doubt I'll be back.
