I went to Mimi's earlier this week when I was out in that area and I very impressed. The food and coffee were incredible, as was the service. Tanya was one of the sweetest and most helpful people. She took the time explain different menu items to us. I can't wait to find an excuse to be out that way again. I'll be telling everyone I know about my experience there.

Best coffee in the region! Plus ingredients are fresh. Best BLT and Breakfast Sandwich we've had in years. Atmosphere is ... intimate ... for a coffeehouse. Service was prompt and courteous.

Ive being coming to Mimi's for years (about 5 since I moved to Ware) and I've always had a good experience. The girls that work here are always friendly and accomodating. The coffee and food is delicious. It's a great spot for me to cruise to in my car or on my motorcycle and enjoy a coffee and a view of the beautiful Hardwick common. I highly recommend Mimi's!

The portion sizes are great and the food is fantastic. The vibe is hometown country. Definitely recommend coming here. I will totally be back if I am in the area.

This is a wonderful little cafe in the cute and cozy town of Hardwick that serves the most amazing food! We stopped there a couple of days ago visiting family in Barre. We always make a point to stop in for coffee, sandwiches, or their delicious baked goods. We had some sandwiches and they were fabulous! I had the cranberry walnut chicken salad with lettuce and tomato on a wrap. This place is definitely worth trying! They have a lovely open porch for outdoor seating. Check the hours first before heading over because they're not open for supper, just breakfast and lunch. You won't be sorry! I almost forgot to mention: they sell jewelry and crafts, too, along with other items like syrup and jellies.

Mimi's Café opened just very recently, in a space I used to come to when it was a pizza joint, while on motorcycle rides in western Massachusetts. That place closed some time back, & now I'm delighted that Mimi's has opened in the same, newly and very nicely renovated space. Kinda' old New England on the outside - contemporary on the inside. It works! The menu is a bit limited, breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, but is diverse enough for most anyone to find something they'll like.I had a BLT on wheat bread and a bowl of her hardy corn chowder on the cool, rainy, damp, early August day that I was there. The bacon was thick sliced, cooked just right. The wheat bread was surprisingly not toasted, but didn't detract from my enjoyment of the sandwich.Four stars only because of the limited menu, but it's really great to have this place for a light lunch on my "Quabbin Loop", 72 mile ride around the reservoir. Perhaps the menu will expand a bit as Mimi's Café becomes better known through Google Maps & word of mouth. There were several locals who clearly have discovered this little hidden gem already.

We just moved here not too long ago and decided to try out Mimis Coffee House since it's local and convenient. I absolutely love the atmosphere in there. They have a very inviting seating area and a great group of people working there. They don't have a large menu but they have specials and their specials are pretty dang good. We love their breakfast sandwiches taste homemade with real ingredients. They are always so welcoming and kind and very talkative. They make you feel like you are a regular even on the first time walking in. The food is priced accordingly. My kids love going in there and getting breakfast and lunch!

If you had to imagine the quintessential New England setting, then Mimi’s is the place. Located in the center of town, directly across the street from the town common, with its wrap around porch that is staged with rocking chairs and tables and chairs. The extensive selection of coffee is impressive, and in house made muffins and sandwiches will satisfy your pallet. Oh yeah, the ladies behind the counter were very nice and quite accommodating. The rest room was “A+”!!! This is going to be a definite stop for us in the future! •••••

My first time there. We only ordered coffee and a cookie, but the front porch was so nice and relaxing that we will make a return visit. I can also see breakfast there bejng in our future. Oh, and the cookie was great.

Mimi's isn't the best coffee shop I've ever visited, but certainly not the worst either. Although I do like their coffee, I immediately noticed a very "snooty, upper crust" vibe about this place & staff wasn't exactly "overly friendly". This surprised me considering Hardwick is a farm town, not an upscale, high end New York City establishment! The 1st time we went, we brought our young daughters & kept getting "looks" from employees. Our girls were not behaving badly or anything, so we didn't feel the rude glares were acceptable or very welcoming, especially to 1st time customers who are also locals & may have become potential regulars, had we not been treated so coldly. The only reason I am giving as many stars as I am is because the lady who took our order was helpful in offering more detailed info on particular coffee flavors that we had inquired about. I was excited to try their cookie dough flavor, but apparently they had ran out. Um...could you not have taken 30 seconds of your time to cross this off or remove from your flavor list??? Some customers (especially new guests!) may have trouble deciding, so it's a bit inconvenient to look over the menu & then upon choosing be told a listed option isn't available. Also, I felt that their bakery items weren't that impressive as far as selection goes. I was hoping to get something my young daughters could enjoy & the only choices were lemon muffins (definitely not a favorite amongst most kids!) & a few other pastries that weren't exactly too exciting or unique by any means. Variety isn't their strong spot for food items. However, I did think the cheese danish I ordered was "okay". For a small business, I think they could certainly try harder, @ least attempt to be much kinder to their customers. After all, they are the ones who keep you in business, so if you hope for us to return, a little kindness can go a long way folks! I felt almost more as if I was in a library whenever my young daughters made any noise, we felt the staff continuously gawking @ our table. Talk about uncomfortable! If you're looking for a place to bring a friend or partner, I guess you can give them a shot. But for those with young children, you're better off crossing Mimi's off your list unless of course, you enjoy being rudely stared @ for the entire visit. Definitely not "family friendly" in my opinion. We went another time & got our order to go, but still was left feeling less than impressed. Just being honest about our experiences. If I owned a small business in a small town, I would definitely be much friendlier & welcoming to my customers.🤷

Very fine breakfast, nice greeting from the girls as we entered. A local favorite, as it should be! We were on a sportscar ride, and Mimi's was the perfect stop for eats. Excellent little menu, yummy pastries. We go back!

Coffee is the best. Food menu standard but nicely done. A little weak in the pastry department. Such good coffee needs a high quality accompaniment to round the place out. They greet you on the way in which is a nice touch. The coffee is really good.

A group of friends stopped here for a late lunch on our drive out to the Hardwick winery. This little coffee shop is a gem! Megan the girl behind the counter was so helpful and friendly. I recommend the Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice coffee with almond milk . It was amazing and Megan even let me purchase a small portion of the homemade flavor shot mix to bring home and texted her boss for the recipe! I can’t wait to try it. Loved our lunch sandwiches there as well. Will return for sure !

THE BEST spinach egg pesto mozzarella sandwich! Also the best coffee shop to sit out on their large porch to relax with your favorite coffee in such a charming peaceful New England town center. Also, I'm going to add I love how the farm fresh seasonal egg nog they sell does not have carrageenan!!

A pleasant drive through the small towns of Ware, Hardwick and Gilbertville, Ma. Quaint and original little coffee house just off Rt 32A in Gilbertville. Bright clean interior. (You must check out the chandeliers!) Friendly helpful staff. A delightful and eclectic breakfast and lunch menu. Good coffee. My wife and I drove over from Ludlow and each got a cup of regular brewed coffee. Plus a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. Coffee was good, bagel was equally as good. Prices are reasonable. We will be back.
