I take my hedgehogs here they have an exotics Doctor Kelly who is great & thorough. All 4 of my hedgehogs were just seen & given meds for under like 5hun.One of my females is being treated for a leg injury moon , Anari is being treated for her breathing she was born sick. The doctors will take the time to go over all options with you, depending on whatever is best for your animal. Depending on. What's best for you financially.

Took my little girl here for her first check up since we got her on 4/29. The staff is really kind and Honey loved meeting everyone. I am grateful that Dr. Oscar and her team were able to put my nerves at ease and walk me through everything I needed to know to keep my baby healthy 🐶🖤

I highly recommend Dr. Serbin at the VCA in Hanson. She is hands down the best Veterinarian we have ever had. She is very thorough and compassionate.I recently brought Ace, my 6 year old Akita mix, in for his annual physical. Dr. Serbin and her tech, Abbey, were extremely patient with Ace, like any dog he was not to thrilled about the heart worm blood draw and nail trimming. The appointment went well, as it always does.If you are a pet owner who is new to Hanson, MA or lives in the South Shore area like I do, you should definitely consider choosing Dr. Serbin as your Vet.****I would like to also point out that I was not asked or bribed with an incentive to leave a review. I received a text message from Dr. Serbin this morning with Ace’s results (our visit was just this past Sunday— Yes the VCA in Hanson is open on Sundays). Therefore, Dr. Serbin’s excellent communication prompted me to leave this review*****

The doctors were very kind and they really spent time on my sick dog. They tried hard to find the cause and the exams requested were necessary. It’s a clean place, with great doctors and technicians. Avalanche is in good hands.

As a new rabbit owner, it was tough finding a clinic that would not only see exotics but also provide the best care. I come from Providence but the drive is super worth it! A first wellness exam turned into an ear infection- something that was addressed quickly and Dr. Kelley even took the time to talk to me about my concerns days after my visit. Great first experience, my bunny Mr. Butters is in good hands :)

I can’t even begin to explain how grateful I am for the entire team at VCA Hanson. From day 1, they have provided me and and my bunny Snickers with the absolute best care. On 11/10/23 Snickers went in to get neutered, the next day I noticed he had some bleeding from his incision and they got me in right away. Turns out he had a little complication, and when Dr. Kelley found out I was there, she came in on her day off to help.If anyone is looking to bring their bunny or other exotic pet to VCA Hanson, they will be in the best of care. From the receptionists to the vet techs and doctors, the team at VCA Hanson is absolutely incredible, and I am so grateful for every single one of them! ❤️

Dr.Whalen takes such good care of our dogs. Even follows up after the appointment to make sure they are doing better. Eevee has had a lot of orthopedic surgeries in the last year and Dr.Whalen has been so great when checking up on her. I highly suggest any of the doctors here but I won't go to anyone else but Dr.Whalen.

I have been going to Hanson VCA since 1991. There is no other veterinarian I trust more than them. Dr Finney and all of the veterinarians are fantastic. The technicians are so patient and understanding and the staff is great as well. If you’re looking for a vet that provides excellent care, patience and understanding there is no place other than Hanson VCA.

I cannot express how thrilled I was to have such a wonderful experience at the VCA Animal Hospital in Hanson, Massachusetts! The fact that they let me park in their lot was just the icing on the cake of an already amazing visit.Although they didn't offer me a private jet, red carpet, or unicorn ride, they provided me with the warmest welcome and top-notch customer service that made me feel like a true VIP. Even without a personal stylist or makeup artist, I felt like a Hollywood star in their clean and organized facility.Their knowledgeable and attentive staff went above and beyond to make sure that all my needs were met, and I left feeling like royalty. I cannot recommend the VCA Animal Hospital in Hanson, Massachusetts enough - their dedication to their patients and customers truly sets them apart.Thank you, VCA, for an unforgettable experience, and for letting me park in your lot. I can not rave enough about how wonderful the entire team of VCA and Dr. Kelley are.My parrot, Momo, suffered trauma and damage to his beak overnight, that required urgent medical attention. I spent a good three hours making phone calls to every open MA and NH: Clinic, Urgent Care, or ER with exotic animal services. (For Momos injuries to be properly taken care of and assessed- it required the knowledge and treatment of an avian vet)But every single place I called did not have avian vet on staff working that day (it was a Sunday).When I made a call to VCA Animal Hospital. By some stroke of luck- there was an available appointment with Dr. Kelley, day of and within a few hours of my call.The front desk made me feel so welcomed when I came into the building, and swiftly brought us back into one of the exam rooms. Dr Kelley and her team were so attentive to Momo. From treating his injury and his over all well being. They answered every question I had and listened to my anxiety riddled self ramble on with everything else I was concerned over.Going into the appointment I was feeling so terrible and overwhelmed with Momos well being and what he was going through.Leaving I felt such a weight lifted off my shoulders concerning the health of Momo, that he was going to recover and be okay. This is all thanks to Dr. Kelley, her team, and the amazing staff of VCA. The level of care, compassion, knowledge, intellect, and love they have for their patients (and their owners) truly goes above and beyond. I am extremely grateful for the help and ease they provided me on what felt like one of the most stressful days I’ve ever had as a bird mom.

They truly care for your pet! When you walk in you are always warmly greeted. Vets and techs alike are very knowledgeable. They go a step further and follow up with you after your visit with texts to check in on your pet! I would recommend them to everyone.

The wonderful team at VCA Hanson are always take great care of my pet cats. They are thorough, gentle and extremely communicative. It's never a chore taking the pets here, they always make sure my cats feel comfortable. Our two kittys have become quite popular there, always drawing the attention of the staff to give pets and praise to them. I will always recommend the VCA in general, as well as Hanson specifically for their care standards.

We are new to the area and had not established a vet here yet, but we were forced to make the call no pet lover wants to make. The entire staff provided absolutely incredible care, from that first phonecall through the very end. We were given space and time, they listened to the story of our cat's life and decline, and even when things didn't go exactly perfectly during the final steps, they were professional and kind.We were treated as well or better than at any vet with a long-term relationship, and I can't thank the vet and vet tech enough for providing us and our cat with empathy when we needed it most. I would not hesitate to return here in the future (for happier reasons, I hope).

The doctors are all great. Dr. Whalen is so kind and caring. Same can be said for Dr Oscar as well.However, and I hate to type this. My most recent visit the two people working the front desk were terrible. Ignored even when standing at the counter. And while waiting they must’ve bad mouthed every single person who contacted the office to each other seconds after hanging up the phone. Talking about how terrible other offices are at keeping records. Very bad look and very off putting. Where we are established and our pets love the doctors we will put up with it, but if that was my first visit? Different story.

We have been going to VCA Hanson for a about 4 years and I am very happy with the care that my pets receive here. I currently have 3 cats and we see Dr. Oscar as our primary vet for wellness checks. Dr. Oscar is very through and compassionate, she takes the time with you and your pets and great with follow up.

The entire staff is always kind and patient. They take care of my dog so well. The setup of the building is also great - my dog is working on leash reactivity and I don't feel like I'm walking through a gauntlet in the lobby.

Dr Finny Has Always been there for Cosmo And Molly I Love All The Staff And All The Vets I Have Seen If Dr Finny Was Not On,I Can Not Thank You All Enough For Your Card And All That Wrote In It And There Love For My Cosmo,Whom Lost His Battle With GI Lymphoma ,It Was So Hard To Know If He Had It As All His Blood Work Came Back Normal, I Feel Guilty That I Could Of Done More, But I Was In Denial As His Blood Work Was Normal,I Miss Him With All My Heart,And Dr Finny Did Everything He Could,And I Will Always Remember That,I Thank You All As All Of You Were So Kind And Thoughtful When Cosmo Was Sick,I Love You All For Making Me Feel Better Thank You Again Carol Murray For Being There When I Needed You VCA IN HANSON IS THE BEST !!!!!!!!!

Tina was so considerate to my cat's condition. As you could imagine, it could get a little loud in the waiting area & my cat's blood pressure was extremely high so she took the extra steps to come outside & provide me with further instructions. She didn't want my cat to get anymore stressed than she already was. I really appreciate how thoughtful she was.Dr. Serbin was also so helpful & knowledgeable with my cat's care. She would double check her work, immediately act on any concerning signs & provided me with the best instructions to care for my cat. Nala & I thank you both!

Every person that I have met so far has been nothing short of fantastic. From the people at the front desk to all the great doctors and technicians behind the scenes I have felt very comfortable with their advice and care for all of my babies. I am very picky and obsessive when it comes to my dogs and trust is everything to me. From the follow up phone calls to the just checking in texts the level of caring is obvious.
