I had guests from out of town come in and I arrived late last night to Shaw's after all was being put away at the deli, and Craig without hesitation brought the items back out with pleasure he helped me. Great personality dealing with people. Thank you again Craig!!

Been shopping at the same store for decades. The meat quality is still really bad. You're better off going to a butcher shop or something. Not a fan of much of anything else they produce. I go here to get items that are made somewhere else and shipped there. Actually the store tends to have a little bit better prices than most others. The fruits and vegetables are often in rough condition and sold for full price. Can't tell you how many times I say to someone go grab some fruit while you're out and they come back not checking what they grabbed and it's totally rotten. The positives now, they brought back self checkout which is much easier than having to wait in line. However I feel like oftentimes I am being watched? Or that somebody is being tasked with paying attention to everything that everybody is doing within the self checkout line which kind of makes you feel a little uncomfortable. And most places they just simply let you self check out and they don't sit there watching you. I know this place didn't like the idea of self-checkout but that's just how it is now.

Great place to buy seafood. Fresh or good quality frozen. Haddock is really good. Fresh or frozen. Other than that other things like house supplies and other fod stuff is pricy. Best are big pieces of chicken (not frozen), fresh or frozen seafood, some produce is also decently priced. Go elsewhere for other things you'll save money.

Not as great as it used to be. Prices are soaring everywhere, so I can't fault them for that, but I just spent 130, and only earned 1 reward. They used to have the nicest cashiers and managers who would great you and talk with you. Now only the ones who have been there a long time ( some of the cashiers, produce, bakery etc) are nice. The main managers never even make eye contact. Couldn't care less about you.

So this Shaw's in Hanson is my very favorite. When the meats are put on special the manager here makes sure they are fresh enough for consumption. I know it's a weird statement however the Shaw's in cedarville sells meat you bring home that's bad when you open it. So the manager here is on the ball. To me that's the most important part of running a grocery store. The employee,s happy and friendly. Always satisfied with my purchases and never feel ripped off.

The store is always very clean and staff is friendly. As far as not enough cashiers you can’t fill the positions if you can’t get people to work. Prices are high everywhere today so you need to use the weekly ad as a guide when preparing meals. I have a suggestion: I have lived in Hanson for 37 years and as a rule do most of my shopping at Shaw’s. As I am getting older as well as many others, I wish you would put row signs up so we will remember to look at the row before coming back out of the store to where we have parked our cars. This has been an issue for many patrons. Please take under advisement!! Thankyou!!

Once I made a food return and got the third degree. A month later I needed to make another return. This time inexpensive unused hair accessories. I was hoping I wouldn't have a similar experience, but I did! It was so childish the way Pam behind the desk treated the return if you can avoid Pam at Hanson Shaws you'll avoid her rude & childish ways

Spotless store with friendly staff and great produce. Minimal wait in line at a busy time of day, and my cashier was still pleasant and courteous when I knew it was close to the end of her shift. Management is doing it right there.

Slightly above average prices...comparable to S&S...HOURS less...savings are the same, store layout is less crazy but the same pathways. They need 2 MORE self check out spits & 2 more living cashiers at night. Rte 14, e-z to get too.

They have everything that you would need from a grocery store. They also have nice workers and are willing to help you find something if you need help. Overall, this is a great store to shop for food.

Decent selection of groceries and health items. My only suggestion would be to check the dates on the meats and bread. Online coupons available and entering your phone number when checking out applies additional coupons. Cashiers were friendly and it wasn't too busy at 8AM.

Former Stop & Shop customer and this Shaws is clean, usually stocked well and the employees are always friendly. Prices are higher then S&S but I think the Shaws food is fresher.

Good place to shop. They have a lot in store. And they have bottle return machines for cans, glass, and bottles. They have a program for a free banana or apple and a free cookie for kids 12 and under. Just go see the front desk to pick them up. Great deals.

Liberty st.Hanson.they have a Shaws,Dollar store.,Easton bank,barber shop.plenty of parking.plenty of products.shelves are all full.prices reasonable. Friendly staff.produce is fresh,grab & go meals available. The deli dept.is well stocked,need something special ask for Hope,she is the best.

Multiple items in the produce section, including all bags of salad, were expired. Their complete Grillo’s pickles selection was expired by two months. When we complained we were simply told “we’ll do better next time.” For the prices, you’d think they’d have fresh produce and better customer service.

I bought and cooked my first rib roast. I asked for the meat manager to tell me how to order handle and cook this 7 rib roast. He explained to me how he would cut it, asked how many I was serving and the explained cooking. I followed his directions exactly and it cooked perfect.My guests raved about this roast and ALL said it was good or better than any steakhouse they had ordered in and thought I had my own butcher. This Shaws and the one in Hanover are great. Produce is fresh I come here specifically for the seafood. Best in area Shaws is better than Stop & Shop don't try to argue with me.

Still no paper goods, gee its only been 2mts. I guess shaws can't figure it out. The help is great but as far as stock goes. Shaws is deplorable. The dollar store has more paper goods and they're only a buck.
