I moved up here this year and I used to bring my dog to Pet Hotel down the street but figured to give Wagging Tails a shot (even though it's further down the road from my commute to work). I'm highly motivated by customer service, morals/ethics, care, and cleanliness. I already finished my 20 day package, purchased 20 more days, and purchased dog boarding for a week while I'm travelling out of country. It may be on the pricer side but the customer service sold me really. Although, as a first timer there for the first week, I didn't really get much more in-depth information of the products/services as I was hoping but I figured it out by asking questions and reading their entire website. My dog comes home happy, in good shape, and also very hungry. I really can't complain though! I appreciate you all over there and so does Bowser!

My current and past dog have done boarding, training and doggy daycare at Wagging Tails. The staff is wonderful, they treat your dog like family and really seem to enjoy their jobs. My dog is always excited to go and comes home exhausted. When we moved to the area we visited, we toured and tried out many doggy daycare, and Wagging Tails is by far our favorite. Some of the others may look nicer or fancier but we found staff did not know the names of the dogs, did not seem to love the dogs like their own and most importantly my dog was not even tired when she came home. We love sending our boy Otto to wagging tails for boarding and daycare. He has gained so much confidence playing with his dog friends all day. We recently have had two boarding experiences and were so nervous to leave him, but felt confident in wagging tails and we were not disappointed! Otto came home happy and tired! The second time going back he was even more excited to go in and see all his friends, reassuring to us that his first boarding went well. Some of the staff is young and newer, and not super welcoming when you arrive, don’t seem to know the dogs etc, but one staff member Bella is amazing! We always hope she is working for pick up and drop offs, she knows all the dogs and can give you a detailed report of your dogs stay. Otto loves her. We are so appreciative of wagging tails and Bella for taking such good care of our Otto.

This was our first time leaving our 2 year old lab mix, Oakley, at Wagging Tails and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Our (super) high energy dog came home extremely mellow but happy and slept the whole way home! The prices are very fair compared to other nearby facilities and the staff are all super friendly! We also love the “report cards” she gets sent home with. We will definitely return to Wagging Tails for boarding/daycare in the future! Thanks for taking such great care of Oakley!

I can not say enough about how amazing Wagging Tails is!! We were gone for an entire week for thanksgiving, and our families being out of the area, we had to board our pug for the week.I was so worried because he is a love bug who loves laps and attention more than anything, and he is with me 24/7, so I wasn’t sure how he would do. With Wagging Tails updates and daily Facebook posts, I knew exactly how he was doing the whole week, and got to see how he interacted with the other dogs and handlers.I cannot recommend Wagging Tails enough!!

My dog, Naya, has been going to Wagging Tails for years, she was one of their first pups! She loves this place. It’s clean, busy, and she has a blast every time. She needs medication administration twice per day and eats a special refrigerated diet. They have no problem accommodating her needs. The owner and all of the staff are so kind and caring. Great place to leave your furry friend for a day of play or a week of stay! Thanks Wagging Tails!!

My pickels is a very high energy dog bread. Since he goes to dogy day care I have a mellow dog after the visit. He loves it so much. He does not want to go home.The staff is always nice and helpful in any questions and suggestions. I would highly recommend wagging tails.

My dog loves wagging tails! As soon as we pull into the parking lot he's excited, wagging his tail and extremely happy to be dropped off. I've used both the daily doggy daycare and boarding and have been pleased with both. The staff gets to know your pets and are very sweet. Would definitely recommend! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I wish they had cameras so you could see your pets during the day.

We have two fur babies that have gone to both daycare and boarding at Wagging Tails. Things changed a few months ago and communication, reservations and whatnot diminished. I actually went to stop in July to see if I could set up my dogs (as I bought and still have daycare reservation that I paid for in advance and hadn't been able to use) to see if I could sign them up. I had on of my puppy's with me because we had just come from their annual vet visit and I was driving by. It took a good thirty seconds for the Teenagers/20 something's to stop their conversation about their plans for the night to even say high and didn't recognize a dog that had been there before (never my past experience). Not going to lie I pretended I was a new customer to see if these people I had never seen before and didn't get a great first impression of were able to take care of my dogs. The front desk was a mess, they didn't know their information and someone even asked if I had looked on the website. Sorry. This was NOT the Wagging Tails my dogs had previously attended and if this had actually been my first experience I would have never started using their service. My family has decided to take a loss on the prepaid daycare days vs risking our dogs to individuals who, in my opinion, are to young to have the experience or training necessary to work with dogs in a safe way (all they could tell me is they were trained but couldn't be more specific in what accreditations or company etc.). The level of skills and safety was just not something I felt comfortable with and I didn't trust them to take care of my fur babies because of lack of experience and knowledge as they still looked and spoke like and behaved like they were in high school. It is a shame because my dogs really did like it there. We now board with our vet up the road and I will say their process and care is amazing. Didn't have to pay for all the "extras" that they just do to make our dogs feel more comfortable.

The staff are friendly. My dog like the outdoor area which is quite large and I absolutely love the personalization they allow for your dogs stay whether boarding or just daycare. I am a bit skeptical about the grooming aspect as my dog has been passed over several times for a simple nail trim and once for a time we had scheduled, the groomer didn't get to him until noon when his appointment was at 9am. The front desk did apologize and took the daycare charge off.

I just walked by this “resort” on the rail trail behind it one way and back and both times there was unbelievable barking and yelping!! I felt SO bad for a child daycare and neighbors right next to it. The name should be barking daycare. So many unhappy dogs.

First of all, thank you to the staff for accommodating us on a busy holiday weekend! Koda's first time at Wagging Tails went really great! She is a rambunctious ball of energy, a 5yr. old pittie mix. Erin was very welcoming and Bella gave us a wonderful report of our dog's full day of day care. She described our dog's personality, so we knew they understood her high energy. Koda showered every human with love and she was still excited after a long day. We were glad she finally fell asleep on a long car ride home.We totally recommend you try this awesome place for your dog!We will certainly be back ;)

We love Wagging Tails!! My pup has done both doggy daycare and overnight boarding. We were happy with both. Friendly, caring, knowledgeable staff and a great facility with indoor and outdoor play areas. Love that they post pictures on fb daily. My dog always comes home tired and happy! My dog loves going to daycare here so much, he doesn’t even turn around to look at me when I drop him off! 😂And I really enjoy looking through the adorable pictures they post on their Facebook page at the end of the day to see what my dog did in daycare. 🙂**UPDATE**They were able to make a beautiful paw print ornament of my uncooperative dog! Still loving WGPR!!!

My dog, Cemi, has been joining playgroups here now for over a year. He started there at 8 months of age. The entire staff is marvelous!! They know my dog so well--his habits, moods, preferences. They take FANTASTIC care of him. He comes home happy and tired every day that he is there. As a pup parent, I feel confident leaving him in their care. He is always excited to arrive at the resort--the staff always greet him like he is a celebrity!!! I recommend this place without hesitation to other pup parents any time I can. Their groomer is also fabulous!!

Wagging Tails is definitively the best daycare in the valley! Our very energetic Lab has the unique chance of playing with other dogs in a beautiful outdoor setting. During last summer, she spent almost one month at the resort and we found her in wonderful shape. Everybody is caring, loving, very patient and knowledgeable about dogs. We have very much appreciated the advise from Greg Riley, Director of Training. We feel lucky to have such a wonderful place for our pooch!

Wagging Tails consistently takes outstanding care of my pup and she absolutely loves going there. When I drop her off, she can’t get through the door fast enough to greet the staff and play with the other dogs. I travel frequently and I always feel confident leaving my pup in their care, knowing she is in a clean, safe, fun environment. They offer daycare and overnight boarding at a reasonable price. I highly recommend!

Our dog always has a great time when she does daycare and boarding, goes in excited and then comes home happy but tired out! From the daily photos we can see she is having fun with enriching activities and playtime. Grooming service has also been a positive experience.

If I could give more stars I would, I have been using Wagging Tails for a few years now. There is no other doggie camp that I would send my kids to. They get so excited when mom is headed out of town when I tell them they are going to camp. The effort put into taking care of your kids while you are away is the best, being able to call/facetime, have pictures updated on their FB page, etc. your kids are in such good hands while you are out of town. I highly recommend WTPR for your needs either for day care or boarding. There is no other place I would take my kids to, that's for sure.Thank you for all you do for my kids.

Not a very welcoming environment the owners dog greets everyone by viscously barking and jumping on the windows and will attack you if he gets the chance. I witnessed this myself the other day when he got loose and attacked someone’s vehicle. By the time I get to the lobby my dog is ready to go home because he’s so scared. Lately there is also a chihuahua that sits up front and barks and will try to go after my dog as he’s being taken back to daycare (another employee dog I’m assuming). I won’t be returning because I don’t feel like my dog is safe there and now I don’t feel safe either.

The staff are attentive and know the pups personalities so well! My energetic pup leaves tired; and has never had an issue with injuries at Wagging Tails! After moving, I would often drive forty min round trip to bring my pup to Wagging tails before work because I trust the staff; and appreciate the cleanliness; and the set up of the facility (no mid day kennels, like many other daycares)!

Just picked up our boy from his first stay at Wagging Tails. We picked Wagging Tails because it came highly recommended and even though it's TWO HOURS from our home, we felt more comfortable going somewhere that we had first-hand referrals for then a mediocre place locally. Roger is the most easygoing dog I've ever had but can be very selective about his doggy friends. We've also never been away from him since we adopted him so we were a bit worried about how he'd do. Tracy and the entire team at Wagging Tails were incredibly thorough, professional and knowledgeable about his orientation and gave us detailed updates. It's clear they're all super dedicated and savvy dog experts.

Great, down-to-earth, pet care. We recently left our high energy 6yr old mix for 10 days of boarding and daycare. While he is super friendly and sweet, and has been in daycare since he was a puppy, the last place he was at made us feel like he was a nuisance and a poor fit for their facility. Wagging Tails not only welcomed us with this disclaimer, but genuinely seemed to enjoy having our guy in their program. We will definitely be back for regular daycare and boarding.

This is a hard rating to decide because we've been going to Wagging Tails for two years now. We've even supported them through Covid and when they had us go all the way to Easthampton. We've also suggested this place to others numerous times!However, the last two weeks has shown a dangerous lack of communication, professionalism, and training of staff.I suggest, if new to the place, to ask questions about policy and procedures, how many dogs are in a play group, and how they will help a dog with behavioral issues.In my opnion at this point in time, if your dog is absolutely perfect then this is may be a good fit for you. But even then, depending on how many dogs they are packing together in one space, there will always be issues.We feel truly disappointed how things ended and how we've been treated but maybe it was for the best!

This was my first experience boarding my rescue and it was a positive experience for my pup and me. Wagging Tails was very accommodating of my dogs needs and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and confident. By the end of her stay my pup was romping with all of the other dogs and having a blast. The grooming she had at the end of er stay was great too!

Our puppy was in daycare starting last November and just recently needed some extra training to deal with his high energy levels. The staff, who we loved, said that things were going well, and that it was just his breed (Catle Dog), and a simple timeout usually mitigated the situation. The trainer reiterated the staffs messaging and things were progressing well. That brings us to today, we scheduled training and daycare for today with the possibility that the trainer might not be there, the trainer said he would fine with just a half day of daycare. Now to the point of my rant, we showed up and MANAGEMENT informed us that he was not allowed in the building without a trainer present, no phone call , e-mail or text to let us know that the situation had changed, just us showing with an excited puppy looking forward to a fun day of play. Bottom line.....there a terrible lack of communication between staff and MANAGEMENT, he is fine with the working staff but not fine with MANAGEMENT.He will truly miss playing with the staff.

My border collie, Leader, is a total handful. While she plays well with compatible dogs if introduced properly, she has leash and barrier reactivity that sometimes make things complicated (as in she becomes a barking mess... not aggressive). Wagging tails impressed me so much during a trial day when I was visiting Hadley that I actually drove round trip from New York City to board Leader for a week in which I had to travel for work. Yes, that's right, New York City.The staff were incredible and helped me with leaders special, homemade diet (this handful of a dog has stomach problems, too!), patiently answered my nervous calls to see how she was doing during the week, and gave Leader an amazing time. They also showed me her sleeping area, which was very clean and private, and posted tons of photos on Facebook so I knew she was doing ok.The positive experiences at Wagging Tails have since helped Leader to adjust to seeing dogs in different environments, even on leash. That's still a work in progress, but everything about Leader's behavior tells me that she has a SUPER good set of experiences that week.I couldn't be more grateful. Thanks, everyone!Update: Leader got kicked out for bad behavior. She just isn't a fit for doggie day care. This one is on Leader and me... the staff are great. Also...they were honest and ethical in communicating that this wasn't a good fit for anybody. They could have just swept this under the rug and continued to collect money... but they didn't.
