I cannot even begin to describe how amazing my visit to this Home Depot was a few weeks ago. My wife and I arrived at the store in search of interior wall paint, as we had several drywall repairs to perform and needed to cover the repairs with paint afterwards. We came prepared with physical samples from our drywall, and presented them to an associate at the paint counter, Phil. Phil was able to suggest two option to us, the first being taking the physical piece of painted drywall sample to the wall of paint swatches, and the second option being to have their scanning machine perform a scan of the paint sample and suggest a recommendation. We chose to have the latter done, trusting machine intelligence above our own. Phil was very helpful in informing us of the process as well, and explained that after the machine located the color, it would take roughly 5-10 minutes to complete the mixture process. It should also be noted that that amount of paint was a sample size canister, since we only required this amount of paint for essentially touch up work. Nonetheless, Phill more that fulfilled his promise, providing the small plastic can of paint in less than 5 minutes, while assisting a customer in the interim. I left Home Depot feeling that I had purchased the correct product for the home improvement project, and immediately got to work painting the drywall. Initially, I had a slight moment of concern when I noted that the paint was slightly off. However, I was absolutely amazed once the paint dried. The color was the same!In closing, I'd like to just reiterate that Phil and the other fine staff at the Hadley Home depot did an excellent job in assisting me with my DIY home repairs.I will definitely be back.

Some employees were nice and decent while a younger looking employee heard me, looked at me in the face & kept on walking as I asked him for help. Maybe he didn’t hear me yeah I thought that too until I tried walking closer to him as his feet kept on moving faster and still walked away when I said excuse me again. The other employee at the door near check out witnessed it I asked him for help and he assisted me. I went back to pay for my stuff and there was the ignorant employee as if he was taunting me or whatever he was trying to do. I’m unpleased. Will upload receipt later.

Beware of flooring subcontractor American Carpet South - employees are clueless, scheduling is f-ed, communication is non existent, and the management is checked out/ definitely offered me too little too late. Look elsewhere for actual help with home improvement projects!

To clarify, I had a very very bad experience with a third party installation of a washer dryer set through Home depot and will NOT be ordering any appliance installations through Home depot. The third party installer abandoned the install completely and after speaking to a manager of the Hadley office Home depot ended up sending 2 of their own employees of the Hadley branch to help me with the install. I thanked the manager and the 2 employees.Even though I had a bad experience previously with an installation, I do want to recognize that I have had good in-store experiences with staff/customer service desk and most recently I was pleasantly surprised by the above and beyond assistance provided by Lauretta, an evening manager. She recognized I picked out items and lumber in-store but was trying to use a coupon that said in-store or online. She assisted with completing an on-line order to meet the requirements of the coupon entering each item manually, then helped finish the in-store transaction. I was beyond impressed and very grateful for her creativity and assistance not rushing the process and solving it there and then. I have to recognize a job well done when I see it and this was really exceptional help.

Worst online order pickup experience ever. Employees are not knowledgeable and not willing to help. Guys with a forklift are “having lunch” instead of helping customers. No more business from me.

This was a good Home Depot. Huge, big aisles. Difficult to find someone to help you with something, but I genuinely think that must be included in their training at this point. It's whatever, I spent years in retail and people want to be left alone most of the time anyway. I honestly have only ever been asked what I need in Home Depot when I truly do not want to be bothered, but that's rare enough. The asking, I mean. Both.

Purchased a power washer 5 days ago. It had a major engine failure. With receipt in hand the store manager is refusing the return. Customer service is calling the store with the same result. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

Great in store, but their online colleagues are children who openly communicate using emojis! And it’s all the way at the top as their escalation department has endorsed using emojis to communicate with their customers instead of words. Aisha Richardson of their escalation department completely endorsed and seemingly encouraged this disgusting behavior for a business.If you are looking for children who will address your concerns via emojis go with Home Depot!

The staff here are angels! I had a series of VERY misfortunate events. I bought a carpet cleaner that we needed desperately as an early christmas gift to myself (yay adulthood!). I even did the responsible thing and got the insurance to go with it. I used it once, that evening, to try it out and make sure everything worked, and then wrapped it up with plans to do all my carpets the following weekend. Well, two days later, I found out our puppy had chewed the cord to PIECES. I went to look for the receipt and realized I must have thrown it away! Oh, did I mention we paid cash!? The employees at this branch went above and beyond!!! They searched the database (which wasn't quick) and sifted through all the cash purchases, found my purchase and processed a replacement without giving me ANY grief (which I definitely deserved)!! They did all this even though I had no box, no reciept, a chewed up cord in literal pieces, and a piece missing that my 3 year old ran off with. I couldn't even find the directions to bring in with it! All this right before Christmas could have really made things difficult and all of this was my fault, none of it was their responsibility. but the staff did everything they could to prevent me from having to dish out ANOTHER few hundred dollars to buy ANOTHER brand new carpet cleaner! Thank you so much for going above and beyond! you have no idea how much it meant it to me! It turned a terrible day around and relieved a huge load of stress! I didnt get your names in all of the commotion but, I'll remember your help and kindness every time I clean my carpets and with 3 boys and 2 dogs, it will be very very often!!! Also, the store is clean, well stocked and the staff is knowledgeable and super helpful!

Not a huge fan of the depot. Associates are hard to find and run when they see you. All in all it’s a clean store but what does that matter if I can’t get help. Great job Dusting…but you wouldn’t have to dust if employees were available to sell product.

For years I have only gone to Lowes because many past experiences lead me to believe that Home Depot did not care about customer service at all.My experience today, to my surprise changed my mind. I have never had such a pleasant experience at Home Depot. Today I was greeted by multiple employees with smiles on their faces asking if I needed any help. One that stood out to me was Debbie in the flooring section. She came up to me, probably because she could tell i was clueless in looking for mortar. I have no idea how many different types there are. She asked me all the right questions to figure out which type I need to get. Then she helped me find the other things I was looking for.All in all I was very pleased with my experience there today and will be shopping there again.

I was shopping in there tonight and it was a horrible experience, had to make a return got money placed on gift card. Well cashier never returned n.y I'd or gift card. When I realized and returned top cashier he returned my I'd but gave me another customer overdrawn gift card after arguing for around 40 min. My anxiety was on overload . Asked for employees names and none cooperated. Corporate please repeating asap or Yelp is next. That was theft I am a editor and my word is gold. Lawyer are already researching. Until this matter is resolved I will Continuing pursuing litigation. Horrible horrible service. I'm willing to spend a $100 gift card to anyone that will spend a $1000 at Lowe's verse home depot with proof Which I will use for a Text write off because I am a multi millionaire. Have a great day looking forward to speaking Is the CEO or CFO Of home depot corporate. I'm one of those people who rarely takes the time to write on-line reviews or fill out evaluation forms, etc. However, Someone in the Hadley Home Depot yesterday went, above the call of duty. To be brief, I'd bought a washer/dryer unit that was to have been delivered yesterday and set up. When the delivery men arrived, they informed me that the space was too tight and they couldn't install the unit. It had only been sent with standard hoses ad it needed extra long ones. They offered to take away the unit and I could go back to Home Depot and start all over. I asked them to leave it. I then phoned their company office, followed by calling Home Depot to try to get the correct equipment delivered and the whole unit installed as quickly as possible , because i am in a brand new house, and I do not have an existing w/d set and had been without for about ten days. Finally I reached Steven Campbell in large appliances. Like everyone else, he was very nice, but not encouraging about how quickly I could get the replacement pieces and get the delivery guys back out to install. But then Steven, hearing the (I hope polite) frustration in my voice, offered to come to my house that day on his way home and to install the unit. He did, and it worked out beautifully, except that he and his assistant found this no easy task, given the space. It was a Saturday evening, they were on their way home, and they stayed and did this until it was done and working. I was so impressed by these two men and so grateful.

The staff is very helpful and willing to help and answer questions. The friendly and helpful staff is what makes this store so good I’ve been here many of times not knowing what I needed or what I was looking for or what size part I needed and the staff helped me tremendously. They offer truck and machine rentals for your home renovation projects as well as advice and help. The boards are better quality and straighter with less blemishes than Lowe’s which is right up the road. Home Depot in my opinion has better quality stuff than Lowe’s.

Needed keys and a Ring doorbell. As I walked toward the key station, an employee asked if I needed help. He made my keys (all of which worked when tested later) and asked if I needed anything else.He explained the many different Ring doorbell options including pointing out the possible need for it to include a light.Very helpful.

not a good experience. unsupervised children were running around on the second floor until 10:30 at night. when I called the front desk to complain, no one answered the phone. when I spoke to the front desk person in the morning, I was totally couldn't change the reservation or move me to another room because my booking was made through expedia. they weren't able to help me although they were sympathetic to my plight. ultimately, I was forced to cancel my second of a two night reservation and moved to a different hotel.

Once again the automated tellers, which make the customer become a cashier (part time employee) at checkout are a challenge. There is often a line (more like a crowd of customers carrying large or awkward products asking if you're waiting...) and out of cash (?) Which means you have to wait again for the one available teller out of 5,6,7? Points of sale. There are some extremely knowledgeable and helpful employees who I've relied upon many times over the years for plumbing and electric know how.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you and recognize an employee at this store who went above and beyond to help my wife and I figure out a home project. Phil L.- thank you for all your help and letting us know what to buy and actually going through and figuring out the dimensions for this specific project (we were making a table for our deck from scratch.) Highly knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We have found this true of many employees at this store as well, and that is why we keep coming back.
