I'm compelled to share a deeply disappointing experience with Lowes in Hadley, MA. On April 19th, 2023, I made the unfortunate decision to purchase a Craftsman Pressure Washer (3100 psi) for $479.00, alongside a seemingly necessary extended warranty, costing an additional $60.00.The breaking point occurred on December 9th, 2023, when I attempted to exchange my faulty pressure washer, as initially promised during the sale. Manager Jeremy dropped a bombshell: I had to contact Craftsman directly, a critical detail conveniently omitted during the purchase.To add insult to injury, Craftsman outlined a convoluted process involving three separate inspections by their service technician before even considering a replacement.So here I am, out a staggering $539.00 (excluding tax), with an unreliable pressure washer and a worthless warranty.I will be taking this matter to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to address this blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. My advice: exercise extreme caution when considering purchases at Lowes in Hadley, MA. Explore alternatives with transparent and customer-friendly policies, like Home Depot or Harbor Freight

Stock listed on the website is completely out of date. Items are listed as available online but aren’t actually there when you show up in store. Both other shoppers I ran into while looking were having the same issue with another product.

Lowes is always my go to over any other big box hardware store, and specifically the Hadley one. I sometimes have had to deal with long waits when I place a pickup order, but otherwise people are kind and ready to help. Had a really fast pickup experience today—then I cut my hand open in the middle of loading and needed to get some help. Carter and Chase were readily available and made quick work of loading the rest of it. Really appreciated it.

I love Lowes, especially over any other big box hardware store. Always staff around to help, practically someone in every aisle I walked down! Less crowded and better prices. A GREAT home improvement experience!

Too many employees standing around doing nothing, literally "passing the buck" onto other employees without any attempt to assist customers. I won't even get into safety ignorance (i.e.: customer-reported spills/leaking cleaning solutions). I wouldn't want to be managerial, HR, or risk analysis staff.

Purchased an air purifier with a $ 40.00 instant rebate according to the sign thinking the $ 40.00 INSTANT Rebate would be applied at checkout, that didn’t happen, I was told the rebate needed to be mailed in. When I questioned the INSTANT part of the rebate nobody at Lowe’s had an answer and told that’s what an INTANT rebate was. Lowe’s needs to invest in a dictionary and lookup the word INSTANT. Very disappointed how this was handled but more and more this is what Lowe’s is turning out to be. Not fond of Home Depot but they are much more Customer Service friendly.

Somewhat small store but they seem to have a good selection of products. The salespeople are friendlier than my local Home Depot, so sometimes I travel an hour each way to go to this Lowes.

Staff was available and helpful for the items I was looking for and letting me know the prices on items that were missing them. Little unorganized in some areas and unable to find prices on a few items unless I asked. But otherwise visit was good

I never leave reviews, but our experience here was so bad that I feel I need to. I was in the market for a washer and dryer, and saw that they were the same price at Lowe's and Home Depot, but Lowe's offered next day delivery. Turns out we should've just gone with Home Depot instead.We went into the store (and did have a great experience with the in-store employee we worked with), and we were told actually it would be 10 days before they were able to deliver. But since we were already there, we went along with it. We scheduled our delivery, and the day before we were given a time slot in the afternoon. At 6:55am the delivery guy called us and said he'd be there at 7:40am. When he showed up, he refused to hook up the machines, despite it being included in delivery service.We called the store, and they apologized and set us up for an appointment today, with another afternoon time slot. Well, that time slot has come and gone and no one has showed up. It's two weeks since we ordered the machines and we still don't have a working washer or dryer. Ordinarily I'd hook them up myself, but for warranty purposes I prefer the store to do it.I will personally be using Home Depot instead in the future.

Unfortunately I had the worst experience. Customer service was incorrect, not helpful and quite honestly rude. It was also challenging to find any employee to help locate and finally purchase the grill.

So apparently Lowes can run a special for any citizen (10%) off, but if a WAR veteran ask for the military discount (10%), it's not available as an extra. It's Just ANOTHER coupon and you can't stack coupons. I'm sorry that Lowe's thinks that WAR veterans are just a coupon. And I love how they put discount coupons on items that AREN'T actually on sale. As you can see it's tagged but as I was told, it's just a prop for other items. You find that out at the cash register. Who knew??

Got some paint samples and a gallon of paint. The woman in the paint department who waited on be was awesome. She was fast and gave me great advice on how much of what kind of paint I needed. Some places or staff people might have told me I needed primer and several gallons of paint. Not her. I’m wicked happy with the service and the product.

We had our countertops installed yesterday and are really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. From the beginning, working with Alexis was great. She gave us more than enough information about the different materials and long term care. We would recommend Alexis and Lowe’s for anyone considering new kitchen countertops.

VERY unorganized and wasted my time trying to find the item I was looking for. I had the location of the item on my phone and ended up finding the spot it should have been, but the reducer coupling box was filled with drip ear elbows. I wasted another few minutes trying to find an employee to help me.

Lowe's of Hadley, MA is top notch when it comes to their level in customer service. I own a two family and often make trips to this store to pick up supplies and all the employees are always friendly, professional and helpful. The last time I was in the store one of the managers assisted me with cutting a piece of metal stripping with some clippers to get it down to the right size. This is NOT something that is offered, nor did they need to do it however they went above and beyond. I'm sorry I don't remember the young man's name but I'm very thankful. Keep up the good work Lowes of Hadley!

Two days ago I went to this store looking for a new hot water heater and no one spoke a word to me. Today I went into the store with one of my best friends, a male, and not only did the employees ask if we needed any help but they only talked to my friend. Never acknowledged me in the least. You are doing wrong by women Lowes, do better .

had trouble with this store for the last time. bought a compressor with protection deal total was $389 had to return it , i have receipt have invoice numbers and there’s no evidence of my purchache with my visa card email address phone number, nothing. return was processing but since disappeared along with all my info. their trying to rip me off but i’ll take this to court and lose days pay to correct this problem. i have receipts i’m also on security cameras returning big blue kolbalt compressor. so i don’t know why they won’t help and have let this get to this point. thanks for nothing loewsand i will update this 1star review when problem is corrected

Friendly staff, lots of new items to look at. My favorite place for home improvements whether blinds, carpet, linoleum. Quality products and always the best installers. You can count on them.

There is no option for Zero stars. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come by. I went to front and I asked for help in aisle 44. Waited 15 minutes and called store for help. Waited 15 more minutes and no one came. I found all of management joking around by exit.

Not impressed by the service on the floor. I pressed the "Need Help" button in Plumbing, and waited for the paging to run its entire circuit and stop, and no one stopped by the department. I visited the Service Desk and recommended that they actually answer the help requests triggered by those paging boxes. The clerk offered to try to find someone, but the time to purchase something from this store had long passed, and I made my purchase from the Home Depot down the street.I'm sure your mileage will vary, but I don't need to return here.

Very disappointing customer service from the manager, Andrew. Absolutely no courtesy or respect!! We had looked at a discontinued fireplace screen display that had rips in the screen. We inquired about the display and DAMAGE price. The original price (they said) was $123.70 and they would give it to us for $105. I found the same one but new on the Lowe's website for 79.90. We asked the about the matching price minus the discount and he rudely stated that it was a different Lowe's and didn't have to match it. After pointing out that it was the same store, just a different location that they should still honor the matching policy that have in place plus the damage discount. He said that he will only give the matching price not considering the damage or the display discount. He then said we didn't have to take it if we didn't like it (the price). Since then we found a much nicer and NEW fireplace screen at a competitors for a much better price. So don't waste your time or money at Lowe''s where they let kids half your age be manager's with the lack of respect for customers. We will never set foot back in a Lowe's again and suggest you don't either.
