The CVS in Groton, MA is the location I utilize as it is close to my home. It is always clean, well stocked and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The pharmacy techs and pharmacists are professional, helpful and efficient even when it is apparent they are staffing challenged.

The pharmacy is at least transparent about being understaffed, even so, it's been pretty prompt with my recent prescriptions when I request a faster fill online. Hope the situation improves!

Extremely rude and unprofessional pharmacy staff 11/17/23 as I’m waiting with my fiancé to get his medicine I can visibly see a woman with long black hair give the nastiest facial expressions she was rolling her eyes sighing and was so impatient with customersI watched another girl so miserably talking to people at front counter rude to people who didn’t deserve it every customer was being nice.Another girl was treating us like it was our fault when there was a situation and was very inconsiderate and had no care. We were being nice just confused they were tired of it. They should all be talked to.

Rude pharmacy staff during every interaction. No one ever picks up the phone. Currently on hold for more than 30 minutes. They never automatically refill scripts anymore and calling to have them refilled can take all day. I've been coming here for 20+ years and within the past several years it has gone downhill. We have since changed pharmacies but have a couple that are still filled here. I do not recommend this place.

CVS is the one remaining big chain drug store that I'll give my business to. They always get my prescriptions right, and their non-pharmacy selections surpass their competitors by a long shot.

Nice enough staff but the pharmacy really needs to pull it together. Prescriptions called in by doctor that should take two hours take a day and a half. Refills that are supposed to be available by 1pm aren’t ready at 3….”we’ll expedite, it will be 20 minutes” - more like 50! I feel like this is ALL the time- seriously, at the very least the last 3 times I’ve been here to pick up monthly prescriptions. I count 7 staff behind that counter and they’ve told the last 6 customers they’ll “expedite “ theirs as well - come on now. I will now drive 15 minutes out of my way to transfer my prescriptions.Adding an edit and dropping a star- after 50 minutes I inquiry and they tell me the medication is “now out of stock”! No apologies and they suggest “I” call around to see if other locations have any!! There goes an hour of my afternoon 🤦🏻♀️

I get it, the pharmacy staff is probably overworked and underpaid but that is a corporate problem and if they want to stay in business they better fix it. As others have said, they don't auto refill prescriptions anymore. On the day they should be filled they show as "in process" and will stay that way until you call and say, when is this going to be ready? My rx has been "in process" for 3 days and I need it! I've called 3 times today, staying on hold for 30 min each time. But here is the biggest problem: on the day they are SUPPOSED to fill it, THEY CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE!!! HOW IS THIS LEGAL?? Now, I can't get my doctor to call it into another pharmacy because my insurance just paid for it at CVS! I'm calling the MA Attorney General's office tomorrow. This is the third time they've done this to me so it is clearly company policy. I'm moving all my RXs to a local pharmacy. 😡😡😡

Pharmacy Staffing is inadequate. It has reached the point where I have to go to the pharmacy to get prescriptions filled as they otherwise end up in an "In Process" state for 5 or more days and I run out of medication. If it continues I will move to a non-CVS pharmacy.

There are a few nice people that work in the pharmacy… otherwise, expect to be met with a lot of dead air and one word responses. The majority of pharmacy staff here is exceptionally unhelpful and rude.

This store should be shut down! The worst Experience with a CVS ever in my life! You can’t get anyone to answer the telephones in less than an hour then all you hear is excuses as to why . Not only that but their ONE job is dispensing medicine, now they can’t even do that, they are constantly out of meds without a real explanation!

Many years and never a problem, helpful staff at the pharmacy and front end. Lately staffing must be challenging as they seem super busy and doing the best they can.The staff is very knowledgeable of store and manufacturer coupons.The drive up is frequently closed but still fairly efficient in doors but weekends can be a challenge.

I just called to get the status of a prescription. Whoever I spoke to was very quick and unfeeling. I explained I was going away on vacation and needed the prescription. Clearly she didnt care and would not go the extra step to ensure I had my prescription on time. Very dissappointing to have to deal with such an obtuse individual.

Dyan, the pharmacist is the most rudest manager I have ever met at a CVS. I hope that I can reach out to someone higher like corporate to discuss. This disgusting behavior in her she does not care about people and laughs when you can’t afford, Madison should be fired.

The pharmacy is extremely inefficient… the “ready in 15 minutes” is always close to double that. Call 2 hours ahead and they are never ready. Last visit to this location

Despite others' experiences, I have always had a great experience at this pharmacy and store. The staff are very helpful and readily there to answer questions. The pharmacy is efficient and obviously busy, but don't leave me waiting. They work hard to let me know when there are changes in cost and tell me about coupons when they are available. I've also seen them readily consult with customers. No issues to report!

As a customer of this CVS for over 25 years, I am always amazed at the wonderful work the team performs everyday. They are attentive, courteous and pay attention to the customer whether in peak times of slower times. I am made to feel important as they know you by name. Keep up the good work!

I was extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism/courtesy at the CVS Groton, Ma pharmacy. I dropped off my child's prescription on 1/9/20. At that time, I was told I needed a new manufacturer's coupon which I appreciated. <1 hour later, her prescription was ready. Wonderful! 01/10/20 at 5 pm, I went to the drop off window with the coupon. There were 2 people at pick up. No one acknowledges me. There are 3/4 techs & 1 pharmacist working. The tech finishes with the people at pick up. Still no one says anything. ~5 minutes later, the RPh looks up and asks if drop off has been helped. 2 techs say no and keep working. I am the only customer waiting. I am in shock. 1-2 minutes later, a tech finally comes to the window. At this point I am so upset, I asked for the prescription back. The pharmacist never even acknowledges that there is an issue. With a pharmacist and tech staff like that on duty, it is no surprise they are a 2 star pharmacy. I will be moving all of our prescriptions to elsewhere.

They never have medications ready when they say they will. They even call you to say pick it up but you get there, it's no where to be found. I don't have time to keep coming back hoping THIS time it might be ready. This has now happened multiple times. Time for a different pharmacy.

I knew we were facing a long weekend, dr.took too long to callin prescription. CVS in Westford didn't have it and wouldn't have it until next Weds. So I had to get dr.to cancel the prescription and call a new prescription into a different CVS. And even after calling and checking to see if dr. Called it in. I still had to wait 2 hours. I was told come in at 11. I got to the store at noon. I and still had half hour wait.

I've been going here for years and the pharmacy always comes up with nothing but problems and rude people. They absolutely can't be bothered to do their job, always pass it to the next employee and waste so much of your time because they're either lazy or just don't know what they're doing. I'm finally pulling the plug and willing to drive twice as far just to not have to deal with these nasty people.

My wife & I have been coming here for years. I am very surprised at the number of negative reviews, especially the the complaint of employee rudeness. The pharmacy employees have been consistently helpful and courteous in our experience.

Kristie from the pharmacy was exceptional. She was extremely patient, helpful and happy even though the store was extremely busy. She helped me sort out all sorts of insurance and medication refill questions that I've been attempting to sort out over the past two months.

Just left the drive thru for my prescription. The woman at the window was so rude and condescending. I had a sleeping baby in my car and did not want to get out to go inside to give her a coupon. She explain to me why I would need to come in with the coupon and I said nevermind that's okay. She continued to go on and on and then became very rude and snide with me. I've never had a problem with any customer service at CVS before. I'm really disappointed in the way that I was just treated.

Been going here since they opened, always helpful. Pharmacy staff especially, even when scripts run out they will give you a few pills to hold you over till Dr gets back with refill info. Never met a ride or uncooperative person there.
