Window broke 2 and a half years after the instalation. The warranty for the window is lifetime, however the catch is in the labor. If something brakes you are looking at $190.00 in hour. If someone needs a few hours of work then is it really worth to pay soo much money for the window? And if the window brakes that soon after the installation. In addition READ every single line before signing the papers, the sales people will try to hide from you that you pay for labor every time you call them. Wish I didn't trust them but checked everything. Lesson learned, at least for me, NO more Pella for me.

Pella did a superb job with this boxed bay window that replaced two side-by-side double hungs in our kitchen dinette. It was worth the 6 month wait for the window to be constructed. Installation took only half a day and the house was clean when it was completed.

We have been working with Pella on a new house build in Northampton due to break ground in a week. So far the process has been a breath of fresh air. Trevor is knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating. We finished paying the deposit a couple weeks ago now for a full set of windows and 3 outside doors, he took the time to go over everything one last time and we changed up the final finish to make sure it matched our changes. Overall we are very happy with Pella. They just finished a couple of post-install repairs / fixes this morning (15-AUG-22).Sales rep was the best we encountered. We got quotes from 4 competitors, all of whom knew less about their products, cared less about meeting our needs or expectations and rep'd inferior products, imo.The installer (Vladimir) was absolutely fantastic! We couldn't be happier with our Pella windows! When deciding which company to go with, we had consulted with friends who had just gotten windows, and they recommended Pella, Greenfield. Best advice we've ever taken. Tom, the sales rep, was very friendly, helpful and professional. The price was very reasonable, and the windows are great quality. Our house is warmer and quieter. Scott, Bill and Erik, our installers, were the best. They arrived on time every day, were very personable and did a great job on the installation. They even cleaned the windows inside and out and vacuumed. I think they left my house cleaner than when they started!

I purchased windows for our new house from Pella. The sales reps with whom I spoke were knowledgeable and helpful - pointing out various window options as well as code issues/requirements. The whole process with Pella was smooth and we love the windows.When we were looking to replace a pair of sliding glass doors with windows, we talked with a couple of contractors and another window company before someone recommended Pella. Joe Bonini paid more attention to what we wanted and helped us figure out the details, then made sure we understood what the various steps along the way would be. We visited the South Burlington, Vermont Pella store where the staff helpfully showed us samples of what we chose. The person who came to take detailed measurements let us know what the contractor's process would be so we knew what to expect. The contractor was professional, efficient, and did great work. We're thrilled with the windows and the change they made. I am renovating a 1776 house. I needed a beautiful front door with sidelights, a transom and trim. Who knew buying a door was so complex??!! Trevor was outstanding. He was very patient and explained all the options clearly and kindly. And repeatedly :) He came out to the house to see the project. He spoke directly with my contractor on several occasions to make certain about all the details, measurements, timing etc. I then bought another door, and again he was instrumental in helping me choose just what I wanted. We had 35 y.o., drafty windows which were in dire need of replacing. We worked with Brad Chamberlin who assisted us in replacing all the windows and sliders in our 2 story home. We were also in need of having additional contracting work done and Brad helped us to find our general contractor, Chris Seaver, who was fabulous!! Initially, my husband & I chose Pella’s top of the line product which brought us over our budget. Brad & Chris worked cooperatively to find us an alternative, Pella Lifestyle series, which were about 1/2 the cost yet beautiful! We are in love with our new windows which are aesthetically pleasing, provide us with warmth this winter and an unobstructed clear view. Brad helped us in designing a couple of custom windows which, with the choice of nickel hardware provided the “icing on the cake”. We could not be happier with our window choices and helpful, knowledgeable staff. I repeat, we love our new Pella windows!

The sales service for our new Pella door was fine. Quick and easy. We set up an installation date for June 28th. Then the installation debacle began.The installer—Brian, owner of Sound Renovations out of Johnson VT—did not have the “extension package” with the trim for the door with him. He said he would send one of his carpenters back to finish the job. I have heard several stories about this over the last weeks. Either Brian forgot the trim package or Pella had not sent it depending on who is talking. The result is that I have been told that the job cannot be completed until the end of July. The installation date was June 28th.I have sent numerous emails to our sales representative, Joe Bonini, at the Greenfield Pella office. Joe has spoken with Trevor, the installation manager.They can do nothing. Apparently there are no installers available to finish the job in Vermont or neighboring states.There are other problems with the door. The door is not adjusted properly so it closes unevenly, the door is not in alignment with the jam, the latching mechanism catches on something so it makes a ripping noise when we open or close the door, the handle is loose and wobbly. None of this gives me any confidence.Pella has designated technicians to make adjustments after the installations are completed. Apparently none of them are available either. Who knows if any of the door’s problems will worsen with wear because of faulty installation.The result, because no-one will do a job that should take no more than an hour, we are left with a poorly installed door and insulation and shims protruding from our dining room wall for a month, or more. Until someone at Pella decides to do something about it.Service: General door installation
