We frequent Hampton Inn in different locations often with our dog. We recently stayed at the Greenfield inn for the first time on business. The included breakfast has a nice variety of options and was satisfying. Excellent coffee available 24 hours. My husband swam in the pool and commented on how clean it was and nicely heated. The Inn and our room were both very clean. Our room was cozy and all amenities functioned as intended. Service was polite and helpful when needed. The Hampton Inn has always honored our special requests like extra blankets or pillows, wine glasses if needed, and when we requested a room in a quieter part of the Inn, we got it! We were on the top floor at the end of the hallway (also spotlessly clean) and it was nice and quiet for us. I will say, expect to hear the trucks and traffic from I-91 but it's only during sleep and it's not overbearing. To me it's a sound soother but some may find it bothersome. This Hampton Inn is one of the better ones we've stayed at and will return to.Nearby activities: Yankee Candle factory and Kringle Candle shop within a short drive.Food & drinks: Terrazza, an excellent Italian restaurant, is only minutes away from the Inn and has a great view of the golf course. It has a cozy fireplace, delightful service and good food with a great selection. Super cozy atmosphere for dinner and it's mildly romantic - we even had a pretty snowfall during dinner!

The large king studio suite is very roomy. The buffet breakfast varies slightly each morning and is very plentiful. Location is perfect, no more than 5 minutes into town. By far, the BEST feature of this property is its’ employees! The front desk immediately helped us with any need we had. Housekeeping was so thorough each time they made up/cleaned our room that our room felt like we were checking in for the first time!! Everyone greeted us with smiles and best wishes for the day!! DO NOT THINK TWICE WHEN THE OPPORTUNITY PRESENTS ITSELF…STSY HERE!!

If i could give a zero i would!! Absolutely horrendous staff, called to get my veteran father a room and they turned him away. Forcing him on the street in the cold … horrible treatment for those that have served! Totally unprofessional and disrespectful… will not EVER be making arrangements for rooms.. its obvious these people do not care at all …

Just left the worst hotel experience i have ever encountered. Last night my room was vibrating i wasn't sure if it was the ac or something else, when i brought it up to the guy at the counter to transfer me to another room he said were completely book out, ok i get it and nothing he can do but and told me to sleep on the couch lol. He apologized and said he's been complaining alot to corp. This morning when exiting the "so called gym" that doesn't even have any thing that works for cardio, tread mill dead, peloton couldn't connect and smelt extremely musky. When going to the elevator the same guy from last night was talking to the technician and the exact words came out of his mouth "I'm so f**** done with 418 and 421 the technician then says tell them just f**** leave the hotel and find somewhere else and stop booking people on the 4th floor".... WOW !!!!!!! This is how this hotel treats their clients. The room is decent size but had a horrible smell, bed sheets felt like they haven't been washed, the towels were very rough. The breakfast in this hotel had no fruit, no cereal, waffle machine was broke, and looked like everything was microwaved. This is an embarrassment to Hilton Hotels

I don't believe our room was cleaned after the last guest. The microwave and fridge were dirty with spilled food. All around the microwave there was rice and other food crumbs clearly visible. The kitchen and vanity area were not whipped down, clear visible dirt. The carpet left socks and feet black after just a few minutes. No TP or conditioner? Very dusty! The mirrors windows and wall headboard were filthy to say the least! $800.00 for 2 nights Columbus day weekend. I thought when a room was cleaned a supervisor is supposed to check things out???? Your staff was very friendly though clearly lazy. I will discourage anyone from staying at this location. Hilton standards?????

Excellent selection of teas. Breakfast may end at 10 am, but they don't lock the buffet room so I was able to grab paper plates and silverware throughout the day. Staff was very helpful and friendly.Noteworthy details: Walkable distance from 99 Restaurants. Across the street from Big Y grocery store and just a few blocks from Enterprise and the highway.

As a Diamond member, I am extremely disappointed with this particular hotel. Hilton corporate office, you need to take a good look at this hotel and do some well needed upgrades. We spent three nights, Fri 7th - Mon 10th of July. Those three nights cost us over $900 (I used my points and paid just over $220 for difference) Now the issue is not paying that amount, the issue is paying that amount to stay in a sub-par hotel. Allow me to explain - first off, the staff were very friendly and courteous (counts for 1 star) and the location is very convenient (counts for the second star), restaurant, convenience store and friendlys all within walking distance. Now here’s the problem, I believe you should get what you paid for and this hotel, at that price, was definitely not worth it! The hotel is old, the towels are stiff and not fluffy anymore, the sheets didn’t smell too good, the pillows were yellow, the lamp shades in the room were stained, everything was dusty, the curtains are falling apart, (not to mention, I had to hook the side curtains back up myself as they were falling down) the wall paper is lifting off the walls, the air conditioner in the hallway rattled all night and didn’t work because the hallway was Luke warm, the hairdryer attachment is on the wall but the hairdryer is in a pouch under the sink and the furniture was delaminating. Not cozy at all. The breakfast was okay, however, during our entire stay, the waffle maker wasn’t working and when we asked why, we were told the switch doesn’t work. You mean there’s only one waffle maker in the hotel? Not at all happy with this particular location. What a waste of member points!Rooms: Very old rooms that are slowly falling apart.Walkability: Within walking distance to restaurants and convenience store.

The Hilton revenue management team needs a reality check. $400 a night is absurd for this area. The rooms have not been renovated in over a decade.Diamond member who will not be returning. If they don’t fully renovate soon, I imagine Hilton removing their brand for non compliance with Hilton standards and this will become a Motel 6 or Travelodge.

Great last minute stay! Our family of 4 stayed in a king suite. Its an older Hampton Inn but our room was super clean and all the beds (including sofa & roll away) were comfortable. We are so happy to see the hot breakfast is back! Breakfast area was also very clean. We would definitely stay here again!! 😊

This is the second time my husband and I have booked a few nights here. We love the king suite with whirlpool tub in room. Highly recommend it for couples! The tub works great, lots of hot water and the room is spacious and clean. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty left even right before it closed up for the morning. Pool is closed which was a slight downside. Also we asked for our sheets to be changing and they never were. We ended up having to do it ourselves. But all around great stay and may be back in the years to come. Get the whirlpool room!

We went to Turners Falls for a concert, and since there were no hotels there, we booked this. We've had excellent experiences at Hampton Inns for years, so we expected the same. The plus side: Comfortable bed, clean sheets, good cover, heat and AC worked. The down side: Where do I begin? The floor had bits of wrappers on it, looked like shreds from candy bars. The vertical grab bar for the tub was coming out of the wall, quite dangerous if you'd needed it to help you with balance, or getting in and out. The tub drained so slowly that within 3 minutes of starting a shower I was calf-deep in soapy water. The sink didn't drain. The toilet flushed itself. But worst of all, the AC/heat had a slightly musty smell, so we pulled off the cover thinking to at least remove the filter if it wasn't fresh. That would have been fine, but this air filter - and the inside of the machine - had never been cleaned or changed. A cursory run with a vacuum hose would have made all the difference in the world.Let me go on to breakfast. I went to the front desk at 7.30 and said "You need to write up a trouble report for room X." The man there said hm, he'd never written one before, couldn't find any report forms, but began to jot it down on a piece of paper. He didn't quite believe me when I told him about the grab bar. By the time I got to the disgustingly filthy filter and surrounds, he'd lost interest.Breakfast was... awful. Tragic. The "Applewood Smoked Bacon" was your basic microwave bacon, supermarket generic brand. The potatoes, such as they were, cold. I asked the woman working the breakfast if there was any ice and she said "You got a glass?" No, I said, but I'll get one. I walked out of the breakfast area to the coffee bar and returned with two cups, at which point I got my ice.We were all Hilton gold or platinum. Everyone complained about their rooms - the dirty carpets for starts. No apologies, no offer of points, nothing.Do not stay here.

I have used this hotel on previous times and it was good. This time I received a room ,then waited an hour for a call back they fixed it.I get there with my handicap wife to the room ,only to have to move a desk and chair for her to get into our room. The house keeping had signs for room cleaning do to holiday but I hap urine stains on toilet at base. Fecal ring around toilet from limited cleaning. I checked out and two hours later I am charged 250.00 for smoking but no pictures emailed or even a call.this is ridiculous and I feel like I was taking advantage of by this establishment and the relaxed style of housekeeping

Very easy access on our trip. Close to 91, 5, 10.The people are very nice and try to be accommodating. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and although a little dated it was enjoyable without any major annoyances. We had asked for an accessible room with a raised toilet seat. They didn't have 1 and went out to their local Home Depot to get one. Unfortunately they didn't follow through and install it but they only missed it by that much.Standard breakfast fare. They had mango juice! A major plus.

Very pleasant staff. Hotel could use some updating specifically with dated carpeting and curtains. Breakfast was outstanding. Hotel is in a tricky location, but convenient to massachusetts and vermont areas. Great jacuzzi in room. Quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff were very welcoming. The room was not bad, but had some issues. Only half a roll of toilet paper, the whirlpool area had alot of cracked caulking and loose covers. The bed was Ok, but a little stiff. Shower head needed replacement as only half the functions worked. Pillows were like cardboard. Overall, room was clean, but had a few issues especially for the price, hence the 3 stars.

This was a typical, but overpriced, Hampton Inn & Suites. I guess Greenfield is a popular tourist destination?? (All hotels in this area are overpriced, though, so we bit the bullet and reserved a room for two nights.) The front desk, lobby, room, and breakfast area were clean and bright, but nothing high end to account for the high nightly rate. We ended up in an ADA room, not requested, but figured they were short on regular rooms. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was tasty, the typical hotel fare. These are the reasons I chose two stars rather than one. Why not five stars?....There were sanitizer dispensers placed around public areas, but most of them were empty the whole time we were there. There were no dispensers next to the breakfast area and we saw no one sanitizing tables after guests left. (The breakfast staff was friendly and attentive!) I rarely check-out of a hotel without stopping at the desk to get my receipt. I didn't do that this time and learned a hard lesson. The biggest shock came when I got home and rec'd my receipt via email. I was charged $186.09 over what was confirmed at the time I made the reservation. I'm glad I opened that email! I called the hotel and she fixed it, but her excuse was that my "room type was changed which must've changed the rate, but I fixed it." Hmmmm. It all sounds fishy to me. If you stay here, be sure to confirm the rate you paid is the rate you were quoted at the time of reservation. Seems this hotel will upcharge you if you're not proactive. This was so disappointing to me; especially since their nightly rate is so much higher than average anyway.

Overall, a very good experience here. The lobby and other public areas were clean and we'll maintained. The front desk personnel were courteous, friendly and competent. The room was spacious. Breakfast buffet and evening snacks we're fresh and delicious. A good value.
