There were a lot of signs about it being a co op and when I went in I was worried I would not be allowed to shop without a membership. I was very happy to find out that anyone can shop here!If you’re looking for a quick bit to eat for breakfast or lunch, if you need snacks, or you want something you can’t find at a bigger grocer, this is the place! The prices were reasonable and the quality of the things I tried were exceptional.I had a breakfast sandwich that I’m still thinking about a day later. I think they might have cut open an avocado just for my order it tasted so fresh! I got a bacon egg and cheese with avocado, I can’t remember what it was called and I added the bacon to the order but it was amazing. Thinking about that sandwich makes me sad I live two hours away.I was looking for some fun snacks and found some great chocolate covered pretzels and vegan cheese puffs. They had a great mineral water selection, lots of vegan and gluten free options, and were very busy for lunch time but moving the lines efficiently. There are 3 different check out areas - two at the front of the store and one in the back of the store. For the ones in the front, you line up facing the door. I was confused with it being my first time there and when I didn’t understand the directions I got from the woman who took my sandwich order and a regular customer offered to show me around before she could! Everyone was so friendly and nice in here from the staff to the customers. I felt overwhelmingly welcomed.

The positives of the store are it's clean, well lit, in a convenient location. Expect to pay at least twice what other natural food stores charge. Do not expect friendliness from the employees. Do not expect friendliness from the customers. Do not expect friendliness from the homeless people camped outside the front door. This is a store that has completely forgotten its humble roots and its first customers.

This place makes me want to move to Greenfield. I'm glad to see they will be moving into a larger building, perhaps next year. This place is a great healthy food and supplements store with outstanding grab and go fresh food. I ate two meals a day here during my five day retreat in nearby Deerfield. I'll definitely be coming back. I wish this food cooperative existed on the South Shore of Massachusetts where I live. A true community asset. Friendly and community based. One highlight is the hot soups. This is no soup in a bag. I really felt nourished by these soups which were full of vegetables. Also, if you are on a diet of keto, paleo, no grains, no sugar, etc. , note that there are easy grab and go proteins in the cooler.

Nice stuff in here but be prepared to sacrifice your first born at the register. If you're lucky enough to be able to shop in the here, consider yourself blessed.

I just picked up a custom cupcake order from the bakery and they are absolutely gorgeous, I just have to leave a review. They smell incredible and I’m looking forward to my son‘s birthday tomorrow to see how excited the teenagers about them! Not only are they beautiful but they were able to accommodate our allergies and have many times in the past with other delicious desserts. I love Green Fields Market, I’ve been a member for a very long time, and I’m grateful that even with so many changes they have remained a business I can count on when I have a special occasion

Great local coop. A bit pricey but everything is local and freshly made. Great coffee, fresh breakfast items like danishes, home made bread, pizzas, etc. the best strawberries I’ve ever had somehow as well, whatever local organic farm made them really does a great job. Plus you’re not giving your money to a soulless corporation, you can be an owner. 5/5 rating. Also nice spots to sit for eating the food they have available, outside and inside.

Consistent food co-op quality. Good food. Some desserts, like Bliss Ball or Bliss Torte over the top excellent. Soups quite good. I am fussy and I will guess I really like 3 out of 5 every trip.(understand choices change). Drug store (wrong word but can't think of correct one) items are very good with people knowledgeable and polite. For small space, excellent quality. If and when they make their move to Wilson's old space, I have great hopes for all the space for variety in many areas. Sandwiches are good and not crazy priced for quality.

Always a great place. Tight aisles and absolutely full of items, be prepared to really look for items you are not used to picking up. And don't forget to scan their prepared items, they have some delicious and allergy conscious offerings!

Lovely local market. Wide variety of offerings. Helpful staff. Amazing choice of locally made products. Many bulk and fill your own offerings for less waste.

Awesome spot for fresh food and organic products. The selection is quite impressive. They've got everything from produce to prepared foods to sandwiches and even pet food. There's even a section where you can bottle your own herbs and spices. Definitely a must see! Try this place out if youre in the area.

I've been coming here for a few weeks now. Today will be my last time. Besides the store being too small and people not being able to navigate through it easily when there's only like 3 people in an aisle. Customers are also very rude just stepping in front of you or blocking the way, knowing full well you're trying to get to something. It almost seems like they think they're better than everyone else. Very judgemental atmosphere. I also came into contact with an extremely rude worker. He walked right up behind me and just yelled, "Excuse me." Then went on his way without saying another word, such as thank you, or an apology for sneaking up on me. As if I was making his job harder. Then I came into contact with him again at check out where he continued to display his poor customer service, asking me 3 times if I needed a bag after I said yes each time. Then, he tried to stuff all my groceries in a tiny paper bag when it was obvious that there was no way it would all fit. Until I asked for a bigger bag. You've lost my business, and any recommendations will be negative. Very disappointing.

What would Greenfield be without the Co-op! Really looking forward to when they take over the Wilson's building.

The selection here is quite eclectic. They have knowledgeable staff who were very nice. Unfortunately they list the membership prices on the food and they surprised me with nonmember prices which were 30% higher. On top of having to pay for parking, I didn't really buy a lot 2 gallons of apple cider and 6 bell peppers. 33$. I'm happy they have a place offering such specialty items that you can't get anywhere else but I don't think I will come back for basic items

I love the home town feel at the market. All the food is elevated. It's got great produce . Excellent choices for any pre made items in store. My favorite aisle is the bulk nuts n oats!!! Best store around !

Great natural food store with most of what you might want! Offering lots of gluten free and paleo options. Nice variety of brands and products. Staff and service are mostly friendly. Many local offerings in the produce department and some local meats as well. I'm not super keen on the atmosphere but I think they just need a bigger store which I think they have been trying to figure out in the past.

Fantastic, small community co-op with relatively affordable prices for organic and local options (compared to other coops, but obviously going to be more expensive than your local big box stores). Definitely worth the price. Staff is caring and helpful. If you bring your own produce bags or jars/tins for bulk items, you must get them weighed by staff before putting your items in them. They do provide small plastic bags to use for bulk items, so you can opt to do that instead.Has small shopping carts, not the kind you can put a baby or carseat in. Aisles are wide enough for a SMALL stroller, though. I wouldn't bring a double stroller in here.Has a wonderful selection of prepared foods they can be eaten as is or taken home to heat up. Great baked goods, too!I was nervous about the parking, because it's downtown Greenfield, but going early in the morning around 9am on a weekday, I was able to easily find a spot right in front of the store. Remember to bring change for the meter. There are a couple of side streets with metered parking nearby as well.

I shop here almost every day. Love it. The deli made breakfast items (sandwiches, wraps, etc) are incredibly legit.

One of the best sandwiches I have had anywhere. I ordered the Corn beef Reuben and added horse radish to it. It takes a few minutes to make, and is definitely worth the wait. You can taste all the different flavors of the sauce, bread, sauerkraut and it just melts in your mouth!

I had an excellent experience with the person working produce. I wish I had caught a name but didn't. They helped me select some excellent looking pink lady apples. Very kind and courteous service. They also had to field a customer complaint shortly thereafter and did so with more patience and grace than I could have mustered. Thank you very much!

This has been a major storefront in the downtown area for a very long time and it not only adds to the image of co-operation and local agriculture, but is a great place to get some extremely healthy, extremely organic fruits and vegetables. The atmosphere is always friendly and they have a wonderful little eat in place with seats in the window to look out on our great downtown whilst you partake in one of their great many choices for a quick snack or even something more hearty to eat. There is also another level up just a few stairs to sit and eat and look out over the store itself, this area has more seating and is quite comfortable as well.No matter when you choose to stop in you'll be glad you did.

First place I visited after moving here on Thursday. Glad there's a co-op in town, even more excited that they're unionized. Excellent selection of deli and bakery items, some fresh dairy and meat, bulk, packaged dry foods, brilliant produce selection. Right in the heart of downtown. Perfect for a quick grabngo lunch, or finding fresh ingredients for a big meal.

Good store. Slightly high prices for the appearance of organic. But quality products for sure and the type of selection you don't get at a normal grocery store. The staff seems to always be friendly which I can't say for most grocery stores.

We are members of this co-op. High quality food and other items you can go in-store or order for curbside pickup. They also offer space upstairs for seating. Great baked good

Love the stuff here. The little deli area offers some really fresh tasting things. I recommend the pesto turkey wrap.
