Best local Pet store around! We've been coming to Animal Crackers for years now.Nick is always pleasant and helpful. He is a great source of information on all types of pets, from how to raise to what to feed.Decent selection of products for a small store and prices are competitive.You can tell that Animal Crackers cares about all the pets they sell.I also like to support local businesses over the big chains.5 stars!

This place has been around ever since I was a little kid (I'm now 37). I've been bringing my kids (now 16) since they were little kids as well. My whole family loves and supports Animal Crackers thru and thru! Every single pet we have gotten from there, wether it be a Beta fish or a Hamster, has been extremely healthy and survived for a lot longer than expected. The staff consists of like 2 people. Both are very knowledgeable and helpful. It's 100% worth checking out for all of your pet friend needs.

1st time Buyer! My first time here and the service was amazing. I wish I gotten her name but she spent so much time with me showing me around and letting me know all about fish so that I could choose the right one for my family. Not only was she courteous but she was great with helping me stay within my budget. I will definitely be coming back again for my future animal shopping. I am not at all disappointed and Happy I decided to go in and look around. Thank you Animal Crackers!!!!! Keep up the great variety of items and great prices. I will be recommending you to others.

I’ve been going to animal crackers for years. I bought two beta fish years ago and they both lived to be 6 and 8yrs old. I’ve recently purchased two fish tanks and multiple fish from this pet store with very good luck. The guy there does a great job. Very helpful with any kind of question you have about environment and tank mates. Very honest about the equipment he has and how they work. Easy Recommendations for replacements and new parts, very good at sourcing.

How can you not like Cabelas? It's huge and has EVERYTHING. Great affordable prices for the little guy up to wow expensive. If you can't find "it" at Cabelas, you're not getting "it" anywhere.

I've been coming here for years! It's our only local pet store, being a small business and not a chain the prices are a bit higher. I almost ALWAYS see Nick working so you build a customer relationship and shopping becomes even easier! He's helpful, polite and full of information on pets and care. I had asked about a bird once and he wasn't shy to be upfront about the cons of bird ownership, even if it meant I didn't buy that bird. If something isn't in stock they do their best to get it for you. There's a small grooming business inside as well, I've never had to use it (my pets are more the scaley kind)but it always seems busy! The pet selection isn't Huge, it is a small shop but again they are helpful to get anything you are looking for!

Great place to get pet supplies! Been around since i was a kid. I've got a couple gold fish from here and I come by once a week for live crickets. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

What a great shop! Amazing selection, super friendly and helpful staff, and very safe covid protocols. A whole room full of different kinds of fish, snails, shrimps, and many varieties i hadn't seen before. I had 3 goldfish that had outgrown their tank and my ability to care well for them and animal crackers took them for me.

I enjoyed the visit not only i was takin care of asked if i needed any help but the service in general was amazing very satisfied. I also enjoyed just looking around many variety of fishes n different assesories.could be there all day just looking around etc. I went there today to buy baby food for my fishes n i was able to purchase three items that i really needed for months three filters good prices i bought from animal crackers i like that they have a little bit of everything yes!

Small locally owned pet store well worth the visit. I love the knowledgeable employees. The fish always look well cared for with attractive environments. I’m now buying for rats and have found a good selection of toys and bedding for them there. They have small animals, reptiles and birds usually in stock.

Best local place around. I've been going here since I was 10. Workers are the same now as 25 years ago. The man with the long hair is great. Only place I've gotten healthy fish. My daughter loves her new geckos . Great selection, advice, expertise. I can't say enough how much I love this place.

I love shopping here. I've gone here for items when I had a mouse for a pet and they were very helpful and now I have a painted turtle and the gentleman has helped me with a lot of stuff in dealing with my turtle including selecting a perfect size aquarium for him. He's very helpful seem to be very knowledgeable on quite a bit and if he doesn't know the answer he will try to find it for you or even refer you to someone who could possibly have the answer for you so that's pretty awesome.

This Place was So Awesome we Have Lived in deerfield almost 4 years and Have driven by SEVERAL Times but never visited until recently. They are Very helpful here an the guy is wicked awesome who helped us with some Live Mice. Yes LIVE MICE and Crickets Lots of awesome fish.

This store is a little gem. The owner is great and knowledge. I absolutely love how they sell rat food in little bags (I think $3). I have been here several times now and everytime I go in I always find something new. The walls are covered in items so you always seem to see something new. This store is great and it's one of the few remaining Ma and pa pets store.

Great for pet supplies, but don't buy fish here. We have a bunch of tropical fish and are experienced at taking care of multiple varieties. The fish at this store are consistently unhealthy and die once we get them home.

Small but well stocked private pet shop in a world of box to a pet shops. Check the hours carefully because they're not open as much as a box store but they have great dog grooming aquarium supplies small birds small mammals interesting invertebrates and lots of products

This place is the best pet store ever. If youve ever had a negative experience...chances are..you were the negative experience. Shop local, stop the online stuff all the time because its "easier"...unless you are a super unpleasent disrespectful customer, then continue online. Keep your local pet shops open, our family has been going here since i was a kid, now i go there for my families stuff, and i am not very close to the area anymore...but i will still stop by when im in need of pet stuff while im in the area. Plus the guy thats worked there forever rocks! Thanks for sticking it out thru the pandemic.

Fantastic service with very friendly staff, wide selection, if you are looking for something they will find it for you. I thought little of this place until i entered, they make you comfortable in the store but are not pushy with helping you, i would recommend this place to friends especially for aquatic supplies, fish and plants.

I go here for all of my pet needs. Staff is very knowledgeable. I buy crickets for my leopard gecko mostly but they have something for every animal. If they don't have it in stock, they'll order it for you!!!

It's a local store! Some prices are a little on the high side. I bought 2 hermit crabs and spent a little more then I would have elsewhere but the employee (I think he's the owner?) knew way more then any employee at petco, petsmart ect.. And very friendly. We had a very nice conversation about hermit crabs and the care they need. At other stores their knowledge is either limited or they tell and sell you the wrong information. I do wish the hermit crab "display" was set up a little more accommodating for the hermit crabs.

11/10 would choose Animal Crackers over Petco. The atmosphere is welcoming and staff has always been helpful for me. Grateful I have such a great store to get all my crickets at!
