This place has great selection and such nice staff. The indoor plants are hearty and they have so much other interesting decor and products from cool interior accents to homewards and even bat houses! I love this place.

Went there for houseplants so this rating is strictly for houseplant selection. They had a decent selection of plants. Quality was ok. Prices were very high compared to other nurseries and locally owned plant shops in the berkshires and quality was not as good, lots of plants wilting, or sickly looking. They do have a nice selection of Hoyas which are reasonably priced, but everything else was about 10-50$ more than other small nurseries/plant shops. They did have a nice selection of pots also which were reasonably priced.

During the holidays half the nursery is turned into a Christmas shop and is lovely. Year round it is a solid resource for both indoor and outdoor gardening. For terrarium enthusiasts they have a nice variety of plants, kits, substrate ingredients.

Whether it's a holiday tree a plant or a question everyone at this place is a thoughtful considerate professional who offers only the best genuine advice to help you make a decision for your gardening needsBoy have I bored these people to death with some of these questions I ask. This nursery had so many different types of plants, and they have also have many outdoor/garden supplies too. The plant selection is very wide and there are many different plants that a person could choose from. They also have a lot of different flowers. The staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable, they can answer any questions that you might have about the care of plants.

Ward’s has supplied the shrubs for the new Pittsfield Beautiful gardens at The Colonial Theater, Courthouse, Redding Park, and Summer Street. The shrubs are healthy, strong, and full plus the folks at Ward’s have been most helpful and accommodating. Great place and wonderful staff.

Wards is my favorite gardening center. There is so much stock, and they are so helpful. In March, during the height of the pandemic, they actually picked out my glads for me — described them in detail over the phone and sent pictures of the bulbs — and I was able to do contactless pickup.

Staff was rude when approached about having my dog with me. Lady said "sorry we don't allow dogs but you can go stand with him or her in the parking lot." Store has a huge selection but seems overpriced.

The staff are very helpful in suggesting a plant for your needs and they will even install it for a fee on the larger plants. Go during Halloween and Christmas as they have a walk through seasonal area that is Free and Fun.

Not very Happ with it us to go buy a hand blow Christmas ornament every year for my mom now all they have is the ones like u get at Walmart went thru the Christmas set up use to be beautiful but now just thrown together sad where did the Christmas spirit go
