I bought a DeWalt skillsaw from this carr hardware back at the beginning of the summer, but then didn't use it for a few months and when I did, I found out that my fence was faulty and it was cutting everything slightly askew. It had been more than 90 days and I didn't have the receipt, but as a rewards member, they effortlessly looked me up, found my receipt and swapped out the unit for a functional one, with no fuss. Something I assumed would be an absolute nightmare hassle and mess to deal with, was made so easy and efficient for me, that I could never recommend these people enough. 10/10 best customer service ever.

In relation to your sudden sale of Israeli flags… So tired of the misguided liberals and the conservative Jews being blindly pro Israel. Palestinians have been tortured and suffering for ages but as soon as sone Israelis are hurt suddenly it’s a problem. Nationalism is simply wrong. We can care about all individuals and condemn their governments and ours too. But thanks for the heads up as I now know not to shop there.

Just moved here thought I would take my first trip to the local hardware store. Put a few things in the shopping cart and got in line behind someone checking out standing next to the clerk who is the owner or the manager chatting with the customer checking out. After a few minutes another customer comes up and the manager says to her come on over here I’ll take you on the other register, leaving me standing there waiting in lineLooks like I’ll be looking for another hardware store. Maybe the rudest thing that I have ever had happened to me at a shop

After years of going to Carr Hardware in Great Barrington I will never go there again. I needed help with something and the first person I asked wasn't able to help. I then asked another person and the first staff member heard me and started shouting loudly (so the entire store could hear): "I already told her everything we have!! I already did that! If she doesn't like it she can leave my store!!" In the meantime, while she continued to yell, the other person found what I needed, which she had said they didn't have.I went ahead and bought the items and left. However, I will be taking her advice, "get out of her store," and never, ever go back there again. It was one of the most unprofessional things I have ever seen, and is a real shame, as in the past the staff were one of the highlights of shopping there.

Pretty well stocked I can usually find what I need here for general home projects. It is nice to have a local hardware store that is open on sundays for those emergency needs in the middle of a building project. The employees are nice and very helpful.

Why is Carr Hardware selling 32 degree windshield washer fluid in December in the Berkshires? Just happy I didn’t get a chance to use it. Sure it says 32 degrees on the label but I never knew such a thing existed. It was stacked up by the front door and I needed some. So it’s my fault I didn’t read the label beyond “windshield washer fluid”?What’s more just saw a warning on TV to be sure not to use summer washer fluid in this season because that will freeze in 20 degree weather.
