Very nice new store, they did a great job on it, thank you Aldi for the new location! (I went online and suggested this exact building as a potential location to open, back in 2021, and they LISTENED!)The isles are very wide. The carts are also larger than normal. They have added self checkouts, but they still have regular lanes too.

I ADORED the Gardner Aldi store! The selection is wonderful and the staff is very helpful! I hope they are a here to stay in Gardner, Massachusetts? We need them, desperately here! Since the other stores in town are over priced and unaffordable for most people. Aldis GARDNER I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU!!!

Glad there is an Aldi now, nice new store, prices on their small selection will absolutely take customers from Price Chopper and Hannaford. Limited if any at all gluten free/plant based options which is a disappointment compared to other Aldi locations. Seems they have a much larger Quick gifts section than other ALDIs as well. Staff also wasn’t approachable, the handful of them were clumped at the front of the store beyond the register having social time instead of engaging with their new customers entering the store or shopping on the floor. Hopefully, once this location settles in it will improve.

I just visited this place to check it out cause it’s a new grocery store in my proximity and they are still in their opening week for this location. Although I am happy that they have an ALDI near my neighborhood now. But they have to start off right with the customer service. During this period, the customer service supposed to be exceptional, especially with cashier employees.Unfortunately, the lady I met on the cashier (Joyell ) seems to have another definition of customer service in her mind. Her customer service was horrible. Never seen anything like it…. She supposed to be working in the back of the store outside of people’s view restocking boxes.But to be fair, the guy I met before her in the isles, fixing the shelves, was a much better employee, providing exceptional customer service. This dude went above and beyond to assist me. He didn’t even know me, or didn’t even know if I was going to buy anything or not, he pleasantly approached me in the isle and say hello and offered to help. He even provided me with the quarter to unlock the cart outside cause I didn’t have quarter or cash on me. He offered to assist me unlocking the cart. I think his name was Tim or Jim something like that. I hope they promote him to customer training manager or something so that he can show Joyell how to do the job…. I took that long to explain that because this is important to me. ALDI is a great store and we needed it around. And this is family friendly neighborhood. We don’t want any weird people with old fashion biased working here. They should get rid of this lady (Joyell) asap. What if it was my daughter shopping in the store? Instead of assisting her, Joyell would have acted the same way towards her since my daughter and I look the same, with the same skin tone….Keep it family friendly please. Thanks!

I do delivery work and I went to Aldi to make a purchase for a customer, I couldn't make it due to problems with the internet in the store, I think they should provide WiFi internet for customers, I won't buy again until I see if they solve that problem.

have been in several times this week and each time every single employee I've encountered has been more than helpful and friendly. Lovely addition to Gardner.
