We cannot begin to tell you how amazing Karen and Lisa are at vet med. Our dog has had stomach gastro issues since we got him almost 3 years ago, and we have struggled with this since the beginning. We’ve worked with our vet endlessly to find the cause…. Now have been on a prescription food diet for the last year with Prilosec and Cerrenia added as needed. We didn’t want to continue this any longer as it’s too chemical based and came into Vet Med a few weeks ago and Karen and Lisa listened carefully to us and our issues and understood what we were going through and recommended Open Farm white fish Dry dog food and Herb Smith as a supplement. Within a day or two we were already seeing improvements and three weeks out we are in sheer Heaven. Our dog is doing incredibly well and we are ecstatic and cannot thank Karen and Lisa enough for all their expertise. If we could give them 10 stars we would!!! Highly recommend them!!! Thank God we found them!!!

Knowledgeable staff. Usually has frozen bones in stock that other stores are having supply issues with. The woman at the counter is always pleasant and asks how my pup is doing and provides suggestions based on her age and size.

Friendly and helpful. When an item was out of stock they automatically put it on hold for me when it came in. When I mentioned that one of my cats likes a particular flavor of food, they suggested that our cat might also like another similar flavor.

I live twenty minutes away and have a big box pet store in my neighborhood, but drive to Franklin about every six weeks to buy food and supplies for our dog. They are knowledgeable, patient, have great prices (better than big chains) and special orders are always offered. Would never go anywhere else! They are also a good resource for other pet services in the area.

Everyone is very friendly, if they don't have what you need they offer to order it for you. My German Shepherd Vinnie loves this store and all the treats he receives while we shop. The prices aren't bad either, I've seen some products more expensive at other shops. We love this store, Dickens and Rosie!

Absolutley amazing place! Everyone was so friendly! The dog food I bought was the same price as chain pet supplies, which is awesome! The front desk lady was extremly nice and pleasant. I stopped in to check the price of the food, the dog food I was buying expires in March and had been on the shelf for awhile. They gave it to me for a discounted price because it was so close to the expiration day. If you go to petco they would still charge you for expired food! I will defiantly be buying my dog food and treats here!

My 14 yr old cat began refusing hard food and can tuna - her faves. No dental problems or obstructions, etc. Tuna prompted her to vomit. We humans stay away from tuna, right? Well, be assured that everyone at Vet med are very helpful. Within 2 visits I had samples of new wet & kibble. Both foods are tolerated but the real winner was a Grrreat recommendation of Fromm chicken and cheese kibble, My cat just dove into it! Happy Cinder-Ella and me too! Thanks!

I tried twice placing a special order with this store and both time was unable to get my product. The first time I showed up at the store to be told the did not get the shipment even though they told me to come in that Tuesday. The second time I called ahead before going in to pick up my special order....only to be told the item was discontinued. This is false information and the item is available at other stores. I would not recommend shopping here.
