Really appreciated the same-day appointment to address Sadie’s case of worms and the flexibility to incorporate a new-patient physical and first round set of vaccinations — saving me the cost and time of returning for the previously scheduled new-patient appointment a week later. We use Acorn for veterinary services and boarding. Dr. Marci is the absolute best. All the staff is very helpful and our dogs enjoy their visits. I always feel so comfortable boarding our dogs at Acorn and know that they are treated well and cared for while we are away. I love getting emails and pictures of how and what they are doing.

I have been taking my pets to Acorn Animal Hospital since about 1991 when I moved to the Franklin area. At that time, Acorn Animal Hospital was in it's previous small building. I have never gone to another vet except for one time when I was traveling. I have never used another place to board my pets. The only time I used another groomer other than Acorn, I had a horrible experience and the groomer burnt 85% of both of my dogs eyes with a strong chemical wash they were told NEVER to use. I rushed my dog from that groomers immediately to Acorn for emergency treatment and Dr Bollen, the vet at Acorn saved my dogs eye sight.I live 45 minutes away but the travel time to Acorn is well worth it. I would never use another veterinary group other than Acorn. Acorn has the best veterinarians, support staff, technicians, groomers and staff that board my pets.Every time I go to Acorn, I have had a positive experience. The hospital is always spotless. The receptionists are always attentive, friendly and professional and always get back to me with any information I request.The staff at Acorn have been with my pets during my pets best times and also have been so empathetic and kind to me and my pets when my pets needed to be euthanized as my pets aged.Over the years my family has had dogs, cats, gerbils etc. Some of my dogs have lived to ages of 16 and 17 years old due to the wonderful care that Acorn Veterinarians and all other staff provided to them.I feel very fortunate and thankful to be able to have Acorn Animal Hospital care for my pets.Susanne Breen

The vets at Acorn Animal Hospital take the best care of our high energy rescue pup, and the front desk staff is always so kind and helpful! We travel from Rhode Island for Acorn, even though there are plenty of closer options nearby, because they have been so wonderful.

Came in with a 9 week old puppy who had just fallen and injured their front leg. The hospital took my dog in immediately and got my puppy looked at. They were so nice and thorough despite my sudden emergency visit. They helped my puppy and gave him some meds to feel better and helped relieve all the stress I was feeling. Couldn't be happier with how we were treated.

Patient with my nervous dog - was able to complete all vaccinations and blood draw (muzzled to be safe). At the end dog was willing to take treats from vet finally. Next visit he will have more relaxants on board so they can give a full body once over/nail trim if needed

Dr. Bollen is amazing. She has literally done everything to save my cats life. Although he won’t live for a long time, he’s happy and comfortable and i get to spend more and more time with him everyday because of her. Other vets wanted to give up on him but she never has and I’m so thankful. ❤️

After going to another vet who was a bit unfeeling and insisted I give a sick cat a rabie shot, wanting to do tons of tests, with no answers she insisted that I feed only bland prescription diet to a cat that stopped eating. No concern I had another cat or that both are fussy rescues, I sought a second opinion from Acorn. They were personable and did not recommend a bunch of tests just an ultrasound. The technician who delivered the bad news was direct and thought more of my fur baby and what would make her comfortable. I appreciate people that know and understand that your pet is part of your family, not just a cat/dog/bird...

Our Maeve suffers from situational-anxiety. Vet appointments, grooming all create an experience where she is scared, and the only thing she can do is try to keep people away from her.Doctor Bollen has taken Maeve under her wing. They were awful they did nothing for my cat he as a leg injury they just wanted money I didn’t have enough money for a xray so they gave me pain meds so you think they would give him the first dose but they didn’t I’ll never go back there
