Small, cute little Diner. Delicious Coffee. Chicken fried steak to die for, very juicy. My over easy eggs were cooked to perfection. We also ordered Pumpkin Spice Pancakes (Seasonal). You are given the choice of how many... I should have asked, "how big are they?" I ordered two 🤦 !!! One pancake is the size of Texas! Lol. Wasted a whole pancake and a half. My daughter and I shared 1/2 a pancake!!! Other than that, we really enjoyed the food, service and friendly smiles! I would recommend it for sure!

Great diner spot. Bring change so you can play the table jukeboxes! We didn't have any, so I hope they work 💜 Their onion rings are my favorite style. The fish was well battered & so hot & fresh.We had never had Boston pot roast. It's a regional dish & was good. It's very different from the southern pot roast.Staff are very friendly

On a hot July day I passed by Florence and hopped into this lovely and well air conditioned diner in which time seems to be frozen since the 50s.My breakfast was amazing - I had the Breakfast Club - and I enjoyed every bite! With the oldies music playing at the background and the colorful characters that popped in for their late breakfast, I felt I was on a film set, only it was real!Thank you for this lovely memory! 😊

I've driven by countless times and finally had the good sense to stop in for breakfast. If you like local diners this one is nearly perfect. The building is classic and as original as possible. The staff is friendly and the food was very good and nearly instant. The prices were reasonable. I will be back.

As a Florence native, Miss Florence Diner has always been a favorite since being young, and the food and service only got better when ownership changed hands 5-6 years ago. LOVE bringing my daughter here so she can enjoy the bigger than your head pancakes and juke boxes at each table (which has a great mix of all genres for all ages, even some kids disney music). The staff and owner are always so kind and welcoming!

Classic diner food, a wide variety of meals offered, ample portions, and affordable prices. The Florence diner has some of the best diner food I've eaten in years. Their turkey sandwich came with a slice of turkey almost a half an inch thick and their chowder is made from scratch and filled with clams. I look forward to eating there again.Kid-friendliness: They have a children's menu.

Food was good. Exactly what you’d expect from a diner - no complaints there. Service was slow but not bad considering the amount of staff that were present. I can forgive bad service, we all have tough days.What I can’t forgive is every item on our bill being $2-$3 more (including up charges like toppings, toast, etc.) than what was listed on both the printed and online menus. It’s a shame, the atmosphere there is great and the jukeboxes on every table are super fun. I just can’t support any business that can’t be up front about their prices.

I ordered a combo meal that is supposed to come with toast, eggs, potatoes, pancakes, and bacon. I asked if I could sub out the bacon for something other than meat, and the waitress told me they have Beyond sausage. What she didn't tell me was that this "substitution" would add about $4.50 to the otherwise $14 meal. When my food came out, there was no toast. She basically said because I didn't explicitly ask for toast, she didn't add it to the order. Why should I need to specifically ask to add something on that comes with the order? After that, she told me she'd put it in for me. This was when the other food first came out. By the time I finished that food and paid my bill, which the same waitress collected for me, I still had not gotten the toast, and they were too slow and busy today for me to want to wait around for who knows how long for a couple slices of bread.

It sucks that I’m writing this :( I am not one to ever review if I have a poor experience, but I have never once been treated so poorly by waitstaff at any establishment in my life. The waitress, who’s name on the receipt was Leah C(dark hair, red lipstick, late 40s-early 50s), treated us noticeably worse/differently than every single other customer the entire time we were there. She happily spoke to other customers and made friendly conversation to everyone but us. She sounded annoyed to tend our table and prioritized other customers in a way that we noticed a difference. We weren’t checked in on the entire time we were eating and We waited 15-20 minutes after* we finished eating before she checked in on us or brought the check. This would’ve been understandable if it was busy, but there were only about 5 tables taken at the time. She had also taken orders of several people who just sat down before checking in. We almost stood and got our own boxes to leave because of the time we waited. I study body language and there was a massive difference in how she interacted with us compared to every other customer. I went through every single possibility of maybe we were reading her wrong, but She continued to treat us poorly until she saw a wad of cash in my wallet at the end and she immediately tried to make positive conversation in hopes to redeem her service. It was an immediate change in tone and body language. I have a suspicion she treated us different because we are a young autistic queer couple with different clothing styles. (I note though, that there is no way to appear autistic and we do not appear disabled. But we are, and the point of that is that you shouldn’t treat people badly just because of assumptions made because they may actually be disabled, like us. Invisible disabilities exist! You never know what someone else is going through. This stands for her too of course, she may have had a bad day. But you are still a waitress and there’s no reason to be passive aggressive towards customers or treat them noticeably different even if you are upset or assume they don’t tip well. I have worked food service and understand it’s not easy and often can be unpleasant) She may have also been under the assumption that we would not tip well because we appear as teenagers. (I am 20) The restaurant was full of an older crowd, so we may be different than how normal customers appear but that is still no reason for us to be treated differently. We came here on recommendation from a very close friend, and unfortunately have decided to not come back :( food was subpar, but not bad at all. Pancakes were huge! And the toast was really good :)

A timeless classic my father came here in the 70's and it's still an amazing place. Great food great coffee and great service. Ain't no dinner finer! It's nice to see a diner keep the 60's mood, with the music and music selection.

We just had the most fabulous breakfast at the Miss Florence Diner! It was worth the wait (Florence holiday parade) and the food was fantastic. Even with the incredible amount of business they were doing the service was top notch! Thank you Georgie and crew for a great breakfast!

Don't try to get a table without your whole party!We arrived on Thanksgiving parade day, 4 of us, and while waiting for a table, 2 of us split off to retrieve the car from its distant parking spot as the consequence of the closed streets. We got all kinds of chuff from the hostess and server for not staying all together! Not a very friendly experience. The food was fine and prices reasonable but the thing that stood out was attitude.

One of the best dinner experiences in the area. The value of miss florence diner is in its authentic American Dinner style. Food is as good too. Prices are average and they have a big parking lot in the back. Staff are always friendly and happy to serve you. My favorite thing at miss florence diner is the Seeburg Consolette. You can play old songs while you enjoying your food only for a quarter.

Miss Florence Diner is a real gem! The atmosphere is cheerful, fun and the decor makes you feel right at home! Oh my gosh, what can I say about the food? Everything was simply delicious. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel right at home, service was great, the waitress was warm, friendly and accommodating. The place was packed but it didn't seem to dampen the spirits of any of the guests, probably because the scrumptious food is well worth the wait! And the staff was unstoppable! We were treated like royalty and I recommend the diner to anyone visiting the area. We will be back!!
